I have to admit, I normally don't care much for remixes but this one is really tastefully done and still retains good musical quality from the original arrangement. Nice work!!
@helicoptered )))) I thought all the britishs saw this cartoon. It's not so well known in Russia but it's really cool. The Xmas is coming soon. The movie makes a fairy holiday mood. The first time I heared it was a Nightwish perfomance, then in Rainbow, and I was sure that the author of the song is Rithie Blackmore, but it's appeared Howard Blake.
@shtirlic76tube I knew that really I was just being silly))) I watched a few Russian cartoons, did watch "Nehochuha", which apparently means "I don't wanna".
@helicoptered Nehochuha is pretty fun cartoon. But I like /watch?v=FaUlvlMmbqI more The foolhardy cat Vas'ka, btw it was made by the russian animator(one from the team of animators), who works in Deamworks now.
@shtirlic76tube Classic cartons remind me of old VHS betamax video players that have been destroyed by broken biscuits, crisps, lego, toy soldiers and bottled milk, while the television still receiving those old classics))) Russia has a few good retro cartoons that fall into that criteria.. :)))
@shtirlic76tube Nope, I only know a few words of Russian, the animation is fluid, It's frustrating to learn the language, *sigh*. I wish I could though
@shtirlic76tube And the English think all Russian drink way too much vodka, an fight a lot))) In soviet Russia the secret police law breaks you. With homeless playing super mario down manholes. Also the Russian wears a fur hat push you over on the escalator, and something about they say Russia is only for Russians, with Vivaldi playing on the metro with squeeze boxes, it's very cold the lifts don't work, you can find a Russian toy helicopter in the trash if you are lucky.. :)))
@helicoptered Wow! You've told me about the russians so many interesting details that I've never known. I'll try to look carefully on my way back home to notice it. )))
@shtirlic76tube Yes))), an Nehochucha is on repeat. Don't forget to let us know if any of these are true, even down to not forming an orderly queue. Greeting from England my friend once again :))) msg us back :))))
@helicoptered Let's begin. Russian drink way too much vodka,
I'm russian but I don't like alcohol at all. It's not tasty. Of course there are people who like it, but the number(I mean percentage) of them in Russia is the same as in any other country. It's very funny to visit a cafe or a bar in Europe and drink juice or mineral water, if a local man finds out we're russians he opens wide his eyes, he can't belive it ))) It's really very funny
@helicoptered Russian fight a lot. If you mean street fight, then I can say the only one hooligans are everywhere. If you mean fight as a war so I can say that no one russian wants war. but we need to protect our land. My country is very big and got a lots of resources so it was attacked many times by different enemies. btw my father could shoot down the aircraft of Mathias Rust in 1987,he was ready to push the button, but the commander spared the flight hooligan's life
@shtirlic76tube Maybe that was generalising a little, there is a large and diverse population in Russia, I have tend to look at the seedier sides to life there, have heard many stories of Russian kicking people on the metro stating the obvious about Russia is for Russians, Ironically with Neo Nazi Russians, didn't Hitler want to destroy the Russian?
You know the SU broke up. And many people from former soviet repuplics come to Russia and earn money. But they don't want to behave as they should molest russian girls in vulgar form, don't flush in toilet (sorry but true), sacrifice a sheep in the moscow streets where kids walking, they find a Russian who likes drink vodka and make him die from poisoned vodka then settle his flat. And many russian want take this foreigners away. Don't like the law - go home!
@shtirlic76tube I have noticed there is a secret police law that breaks you. I have noticed families descended from alcoholism and abject poverty have tended to take to the streets in large quantity (homeless) showing regular vulgar hand signs to journalists whilst sporting "black eyes" and other various injuries. People looking through trash to make ends meet whilst braving extreme harsh climate conditions.
@shtirlic76tube The ones that do drink vast amounts of vodka, call it "mothers arms". But these are only some of the harsh sides i'm pointing out. On the whole Russia is an interesting diverse place, with beautiful architecture and history. A lot say the people are blunt or even rude, and customer service is virtually none existent. I saw a drunk Russian standing there doing the finger sign, ranting out "Vvoooor" what ever that means with inclusive uninviting blank face..
@helicoptered In soviet Russia the secret police law breaks you
In Stalin's time it was really so. May be it's new for you but Stalin was not Russian. He was Georgian(not from state Georgia GA US). He divided Osetia into North and South Osetia and gave The South Osetia & Abkhazia(these was part of Russian Federation) to Georgia. In later soviet years secret police wasn't so terrible for ordinary people(if these people didn't breake the law). Now there's no such problem at all.
If you mean earflapped fur hat (shapka), I can say I've seen one or two guys in moscow underground, but they do it just for prank for fun. Of course it's very warm and helpfull in the cold days as today (-16C 3,2F). But the most of Russian never weared earflapped fur hat. Militarymen & policemen wear it as winter season uniform but no red star on it now )))) It's very funny to watch Russian in Hollywood movies. Hollywood fools people. ))) what a pity!
@helicoptered Ah, so you have to behave lots there, seems a strict regime, as for the fur hats I seen dozens walking onto the metro wearing them (in video)... I wouldn't like poisoned vodka or crazy police
If the Snowman went to Tron, this is what the music would sound like. Probably the best remix of the track i've heard so far.
