He or she is obviously trying to get back into the water... all those people are just standing around laughing... how nice of them! The trainer seems like she could care less, too.
Dolphins and whales have their ribs on their "backs" near their dorsal fins, meaning their lungs and other organs are not protected in the front of their bodies - their bellies. That is why they die when they are stranded too long - their organs crush!
@peepchick101 wrong, their ribs are on the sides with the lungs in them like ours. if the lungs weren't protected by the ribs, then why would they even have any? besides this dolphin got back in the water itself. being out as long as it was, was not gonna hurt it.i have seen orcas go on slide outs all by themselves and stay up on them for sometime, with no trainers around. they didn't have a problem with it. in the wild orcas go right on shore to rub their bodies on the rocks.
