I heard this song many years before my first child Aaron was born. But, selected it as his song because he was born on Oct. 31, 1990, 10 weeks early weighing only 3lbs. 2oz. He had to spend 6 weeks in the NICU unit at a local hospital. The Neonatologist had no idea as to when he would get to come home, if at all. Finally, on December 9, 1990 we got the call to let us know he would be home for Christmas. It was the best Christmas ever.

Time has flown by. 3 weeks from now he will graduate from high school before heading off to college in the fall. He has no idea of how much I love him and how proud I am of him.

@sinfuldelights , thanks for your comments. 5 years ago my wife of 20 years and my childhood sweetheart for 12 years before we got married, decided she no longer wanted to be married anymore. So, she got her divorce and I got a broken heart. As much as I love my two children, I very rarely see them or hear from them. In fact it has now been 9 mos. I would cherish just a phone call on Christmas just to hear them say, "Merry Christmas Dad."

But, my daughter called me this evening and told me that she didn't want me involved in her life anymore and that she now considers her moms 4th husband her dad even if he is a lazy bum who doesn't work, sits on the couch and drinks beer all day while my ex supports him. For 15 years I treated that little girl like she was my little Princess, going out of my way to do special things for her. My heart is now smashed into a billion pieces. Merry Christmas, Greg.

I totally agree with Cakers. My wife (a Tondo Girl) and I are trying to guess where this was taken. The opening scenes look like Dubai. (it didn't look like Abu Dhabi) We noticed the Manila Inn,Manila Zoo, MNL Bay, A scene that looks like Boracay. Thank you for sharing this!!

Having lived in New York for almost 20 years, I still refer to the Philippines as my "home" where most of my family are. And although I do have some family and friends here in the US,I stay close to my roots.
