  • it is slower because they give it more that way..they're more relaxed/confident..have more finesse then when it was new..they've played it a zillion times ..its a fun song to play ..looks like they enjoy it.. it says what it needs to say in a fairly short time ...so, im guessing they slowed it a bit just to enjoy it ..like was said before ..the thick gooeyness of it.

  • I love this. Even though I like it faster.

  • Can anyone answer me: why this song is slower than the original version?

  • First album i ever owned, fucking great music

  • Wow, sludgiest slowest version of this song ever. FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

  • S T MOTHERFUCKIN P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good Grief Rob's tone is devastating! Ranks among the likes of Geddy Lee and Chris Squire, among others, for the best onstage bass tone in rock history.

  • I hope they play this this Saturday in Melbourne AU. First time they have ever toured here..

  • dreaming to see this piece live downtown Jakarta this weekend

  • feels like they are playing this song a little too slow.

  • @vato76 I think it's great this way, like trudging through some heavy sludge

  • Welcoooooome, we are *S* *T* mother*uckin *P*!

  • i like dead and bloated better but what the f*** this one still rocks

  • this band has the power and creativity rarely seen. not because they were not better known internationally

  • that last chord is pure sex

  • Heard the song for the first time when I was younger looking into new music and saw THIS performance on the greatest hits dvd

  • pay attention to the lyrics scotts lyrics arent for the stupid great song should have been a single

  • watch the show they did in detroit ( at the filmore) he was surely on the money that nite, fuckin amazing!!!, hate to say it was as good as the alice in chains concert i seen the week before,

  • STP is the most amazing band of our time. And Meatplow is the shit. It just is.

  • This song is amazing !

  • This video is included on the dvd in the 2 disc "Thank You" set.

  • god love scott when he actually gets into the music. now it seems like every show is a chore for him.

  • @bgaffney711 I know what you mean I was at the houston show where he wa to damn drunk to sing , and on top of that he wouldt stop talking jibberish. The set was cut short due to his crap.

When he is "ON" there is not a better frontman or band .

  • does anyone know where i can get this.

and they opened with this song in greensboro on oct 7 it was fucking amazing

  • this is truly a sad time for music because these guys are better than half the shit they play on the radio these days

  • @fatpig3545 No,they're better than ALL the shit they play on the radio these days!

  • The radio is playing Jonas Brothers instead of this. This is a sad time we're living in(musicwise).

  • You're right. But everything's not lost: Queens Of The Stone Age still play and now STP are back....

  • This is true. It just so happens that I like Queens as well.

  • @The4ourthHokage not my station whfs.com

  • Awesome Guitar solo!!!

  • oooh nice, they've slowed it right down. Such an oil slick of a song

  • great song! I don't know why this was never a single. What an awesome way to kick off Purple. Unbelievable tune when STP was at their peak!

  • haha, on the unedited version, he says "we are STmotherfuckinP"

  • Oh man, I love that song. God, I love this band. I heard that Scott can't quite sing anymore, though. I hope to god I've been lied to

  • ehh kinda hit & miss but when he's on, he's on.

  • Ahh, it's a little too slow here. Still kicks the ass of what's on the radio today.

  • i know they there were suppost to speed up slightly from the begining

  • whoa! whyd you censor this at the beginning cmon?!

  • Where is it censored? It plays just as the original copy. Is it lagging on your computer because it's not downloading fast enough?

  • at the beginning he says "Welcome! We are ST - motherf*ckin P"

  • Huh...I recorded this off a satellite broadcast a few years back and this is how I recorded it on my dvr, Dtv must have cleaned it up! Thanks for catching it!

  • Awesome!

  • This is my all-time favorite STP song

  • Billed as a "surprise show," STP's first official concert since Weiland's release from prison and drug rehabilitation had actually been hyped for several days on a local radio station, though the venue wasn't announced until the day of the show.

  • upload more of this house of blues concert..btw did they perform SILVERGUN SUPERMAN?,, if you have a nice clip pls upload it ...thanks
