I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this having a third violin part instead of viola. Most violists should be able to read treble clef anyways...

When I played this I was playing the bass and the conductor had me play the cello part. And it was just the 8th grade, we had five people, two violins, one viola, one cello, and one bass. We got a standing ovation! But the first violin didn't tell his parents that we were playing this song and it was apparently his mother's favorite song! So the next day, in class, he told us that after the concert his mother was in tears!

I can't stand it because only the first violin is playing something.

Maybe think of how it is to play the same notes over and over again..

@lo888a That's how the song goes. This is a transcription of a song already arranged for cello, 2 violins and a viola. The professionals in Vitamin String Quartet "played the same notes over and over again" and it sounded beautiful to me and to many other professionals who listened to it. Just because they're the same notes doesn't mean they aren't important, and just because it's not the most difficult or stimulating arrangement doesn't mean it isn't fun to play.

What program did you use to make this.

I used Finale to transcribe the notes, and CamStudio to capture the sound and screen while Finale was playing the score.
