I live in California. I don't really have a problem with gay people. Until the protests outside my church began. The things that the supporters for No on 8 said to innocent faimlies who were trying to attend church was disgusting. I know people have mistreated homosexuals but your video is biased on showing that all No supporters are innocent of doing such things.
@Acroix707, my videos are a reflection of my perspective of the LGBT civil rights movement, not a total reflection which includes LGBT people being disrespectful in return. I'm sorry that you saw what you saw. I wish that many people voted on the basis of equal and inalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness instead of people's own religious beliefs, as that would have been fair to everyone.
@Acroix707, continuing on, it's not fair when I who believe in one religion has to suffer at the hands of someone else who takes away my legal civil right because that someone else believes in a different religion. No religion should be supreme over another religion, and it makes me angry that some religious people are disrespecting me by taking away my rights.
@Acroix707, continuing on, there are many LGBT people and straight allies that are very angry at others who are taking away rights from people who are different. That said, there is an appropriate way to express anger, and unfortunately, some people have suffered so much that they are incapable of controlling their anger, and no one wins as a result.
@Acroix707, finalizing my thoughts here, I really hope that we can all agree to disagree about personal beliefs, but most importantly, at the same time, respecting each other for our differences and letting each other live our lives even though their lives may be different than ours. I believe that if we did this, then Prop 8 would have been voted down, as it should have been voted down. It's not right to create apartheid in any form or manner in America, no matter one's personal beliefs.
I won't rest either. I live in Australia, althought it may not apparent why these issues in America have anything to do with me, the truth is it does. An attack against gay rights anywhere in the world is attack against all of us.
What a year... Thanks for using your voice to help people understand what it means to be equale. My family will also not rest untill we have marriage equality in all 50 states.
Excellent. Hopefully Obama will sign the hate crimes bill before the full year. And so many other issues (such as adoption, doma, dadt) and bills, 3 of which that Schwartzeneger just signed. What a year!
they failed get over it. wont pass in 2010 either. thanks for providing something to laugh at

Acroix707, why should people laugh at anyone because of who they are? Is that nice, let alone respectful?

I agree in the perfect world everyone gets along. But it wont happen on this Earth. Both sides have done wrong things and neither are innocent.
