@riptide212121 Bro actually I did not ruin this at all. It was a pile of crap when I got it and this is all I could do with it. I have since taken this frame and made it into a proper track bike.
I love the FZR bikes and have two of them now. both for track. I sold off any and all stock parts to fellow FZR enthusiests to help them with their retoration projects.
I also race my other FZR. This bike is now a race bike with a 400cc engine. the other is a hybrid.
Easy enough to reweld the subframe and give it a yamaha TZR seat. I had kept the fairings that were in good shape off the other FZR so she is back to "Normal" now.
FZR's are the worlds greatest track bike huh?I love mine - handles like on rails.
nice job mate - im looking at getting an FZR400 as a mini-project (Main bike is FZ1) - how do you find the power in these bikes? Also what part of China are you in? as i saw stuff all big bikes in Shanghai when i was there.
Chubby, I live in China and make motorcycle parts. I just had my exhaust manufcturer take a tri-oval and make it short then I welded up a new mid pipe to make it work. So its a one off. I need to make another one for the FZR400 frame - YZF engine bike I am building now. Only cost me 125 bucks to make.
where di you get an exhaust like that for such an old bike?!?! I have an 88 Fz600 I'm Reviving and exhaust is looks like godzilla used it for a chew toy.
Ignore the negativity on here. I think It looks and sounds great.
