I'm looking to get a shredmaster.. Would you say it would be worthwhile having this pedal too? Or are they essentially the same effect? Bearing in mind I already have a tubescreamer for overdrive...
Based on your video reviews about this pedal I bought last week a marshall drive master pedal (second hand) and I don't regret a bit. It's a great pedal plugged into a tube amp. Congratulations for these two video reviews, you've done a very good job. Regards, Arthur

its worth having a drivermaster they have great tone the shredmaster has a bit more gain but the drivemaster is the one
i have just got a mark 1 guv'nor
and that also has a great tone
if you can find them at the right price buy one of each they will only go up in value
cheers

this or the hughes and kettner warp factor? :S
spooky23boo 2 years ago
i've only tried the warp factor a few times, i chose not to get it due to the real estate it takes up vs. the features.

I've got one at home (bought it 1996 or 1997) ... didn't play it for 8 years ... have to

is your ts9 modified? there's a lot of gain there on it's own!
turiguiliano 2 years ago
No, it's a stock 80s unit, however the signal is well boosted at the beggining of the chain.

are you the one with the huge pedal boards with a ton of magic stomps?
extremely cool and informative video sir!
