  • Are you quiet? When?

    I DIDNT FORCE HER!

    Haha!

  • I'm really surprised at how harshly all the people here just for TLoG are taking Chris making a reenactment; it's not a big deal. Seriously. Chris is hilarious, in my mind, and so is TLoG. It's kind of funny, how harsh some of you are taking this.

  • Oh yes! That's why i know it. Chris!

  • Olive

  • Just watched crabstickz version and so here is my verdict;

Firstly (I know this has already been said) the League wrote this scene originally, therefore how, in any way, could the reenactment be better then it? Also, sorry if I'm slightly bias, I prefer this scene anyway! Why? Because the League knew what they were doing because it was their idea! However they say it should be done is how it should be done, and it's utterly hilarious! However, considering everything, crabstickz did perform well

  • I think the reason the crabstickz2 people prefer his version is cause they like him. I've just watched it and I think he does a really great reenactment of the original with his means, but that means his performance is no better than the original - it's an exact copy. I recommend to the crab people to watch more of this series and you'll come to understand why the other commenters and crabz himself love it so.

lastly tho, tLoG are the one's that actually wrote and perfected this sketch so kudos

  • BBCworldwide and they uplodad a crappy 240p!!! Disgraceful - glad I don't pay my license fee.

  • the league of gentlemen is one of the greatest comedies ever.FACT.and it is so cheap on amazon

  • @dsm577 That's not a fact.

  • I know this isnt really important but as a lover of good comedy the fact that so many people didnt know the league before crabsticks video depressing, whats worse is that some of these people think its better.

This is why tv is crap, because noone watches these great shows! They are too busy ignoring them in favour of badly written vacuous bullshit like little britain or 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps. Urgh!

  • Look... they're both still terribly funny, so there really shouldn't be any dispute as to which is better, because it doesn't flipping matter.

Don't get me wrong, I got here from crabstickz, and I'm probably a bit biased :S But some people are genuinely here for TLoG...so I'm going to shut up now, look up some pictures of rainbows and whatnot.

  • You see, you meet people through people, and that's what a lot of them haven't got - friends. And you have t question that, don't you?

  • "I didn't force her."

  • I don't think crabstickz is better, TLoG for the win

'Are you very kind, kind, fairly kind or not at all kind to animals?' :Lxx

  • Any one else think that this is an early incarnation of David from Psychoville?

  • @heythisisBETH This is exactly what I said to my friends!!

  • If I have to see another Oxfam advert, I'll END lives!!!

  • @Snobert get google chrome then get ad blocker, then no more oxfam adverts. or any adverts for that matter,

  • reece can honestly pull off anything. no matter what, he'll always look hot!

  • can someone please put a link to a video to show us what the fuck crabstickz2 is? i want to make a judgement but i highly doubt its better than the league

  • @lpoxton just search crabstickz league of gentlemen.

  • Who or what is crabstickz?

  • what the fuck is crabstickz?

  • What the hell is a crabstick? Whatever it is, I doubt that it's better than The League of Gentlemen.

  • Beautiful Reece...

  • @StefaniSheila The word 'phwoar' doesn't really cover it.

  • @Bozpot I completely agree.

  • Why is Reece still gorgeous despite him being dressed like a woman?? :L

  • Reece looks very pretty.

  • people who like crabstickz2's reenactment" are bellends! clearly, this is original and better so fuck off!

  • 3 people may have accidentally forced her..... lol

  • Well put together short Movie

  • "I didn't force 'er!"

  • Steve Pemberton has such an amazing face! Reece Shearsmith makes such a convincing woman!

  • Like if you thought crabstick's reenactment was better!

  • lol

  • She is saying Its like crackerjack. a childrens tv show from a long time ago in the UK

  • @Fr333zing No!! Cracker - a programme with Rbbbie Coltrane about police and his job as a psychologist. Honestly - not Crackerjack!!!!!!!!!

  • "are you quiet?"

    *creepy stare* "when?"

    uugughgh :S

  • It's like their trying to re-enact crabstickz but badly

  • Crabstickz!

  • Crabstickz!!!!!!

  • Crabstickz2 did a really good job of reenacting

  • LMFAO CRABSTICKZ2 BROUGHT ME HERE XD

  • i preferred crabstickz

i seriously have NO fucking idea what she says can someone please tell me?

  • @cplexroro "yes you are, yes you aren't". =)

  • @amazinglyace lol that's a little helpful, i still don't get the "oswald light cracker dis isn't he"

  • @cplexroro She said "Oh its like cracker this isnt it" cracker was a tv series with Robbie Coltrane

  • CRAVSTUCS WAS BUTTER!!!@!@!l3RRTGH

  • @MrRae777 yes yes he was

  • Like, if you didn't need crabsticks to know how incredible the league are.

Its amazing the crap people watch watch these days, oblivious to real comedy.

  • @sacredgeometry Yeah, it's not like EVERYBODY is gonna know about this right? such idiots, not knowing about something that a lot of people don't know about. now shut up and stop whining.

  • @ShatteredDreams888 If you dont know about it then you obviously have no interest in comedy. I never whine :) i was rebuting another comment.

  • After watching crabstickz2's reenactment, this is a little... nah it's still really good!

  • like is crabstickz2 brough you here :)

  • is this the chap that likes dogs arses ,?

  • @kevrs2 yeah thats him ha ha haaa!

  • 3 people forced her

  • Gay, straight or bi. Come in and give us a try.

  • Dark UK sketch comedy with a hint of mint. This is our first video and we'd love to know what you think. If you like it please rate, comment, subscribe!

  • This has been flagged as spam

  • one of my favourite comedy series ever!

regarding little britain, i do like the series but in the end they just brought out all the popular/commercial sketches again and again and just a very very slightly different scenario, i felt LB had some genius sketches in there which they only did a few sketches on probably because they wasnt as marketable as some others.

League of Gentlemen is genius because it actually crosses both boxes as being a sketchshow and a sitcom

  • Great sketch!

  • I don't care which came first. First doesn't mean better. I like LOG but Little Britain is so much funnier. Lucas and Walliams deliver their sketches far more effectively. This is of course all just my opinion. LOG fanboys feel free to flame me for it.

  • @yaxxee you like what you like fair enough . I'm not even certain it's a valid comparison . they are both fleas on the arse of the comedy dog but I like twisted deep unpredictable satire . for me the League is more Dahl and less Delia.

  • REAL GOOD TREAT UMM.

  • I think Little Britain was first...

  • @hollyworange League of gentleman is far older than little Britain, get your facts straight arsehole

  • @OOjiBoy ok......straight what? I suppose this is offensive..

  • Reece is so cute in this sketch

  • i would bone the fuck out of reece as a woman, and im a 100% straight guy.

  • LOVE his all black eyes... It's the thing that makes him look odd but you can't place

  • The acting is so great.

  • briillant

  • The cut to her just laughing in his face is just gold!!!

  • I love how Shearsmith says his last 'no' in his own voice. :D

  • hahahaha!

  • The yanks just would not get this, as the same for "twin towns" we are forced to understand..cheers...buffy? all that crap they flush out...plrase someone explain to me why ?

  • Hahahaha! This VERY funny! Dark humour at it's best

  • one of my favourite scenes, are you very kind, kind, fairly kind or not at all kind to animals......genius!!

  • @faybelline01 In a later episode he's seen buying a magazine devoted to dogs' bums, so we can assume he's fairly kind (depending on your point of view).

  • Reece Is A Hot Woman :P

  • I didnt burn him!

  • I have always maintained that Little Britain takes a lot from this show. I used to say Little britain was a bad rip-off of the show. League of gentlemen is excellent, dark, subtle, sophisticated. A lot of people just don't get it. There is nothing quite like it, thats why it is my all time favourite!

  • BRILLIANT!!!

  • I didnt force her!

  • I love the way his eyes are all black, adds that dark element

  • ,,,,haha `i shall tell him that in bed tonight ` - i love his lady laugh!!

  • "Well you say that but you haven't got a girlfriend" As funny as it is Dark "I didn't force her"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God, i'd forgotten this bit. Genius.

  • lmfao i love it

  • My favourite comedy series ever! Pure bloody genius.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR I agree. It's just that goddamn laughtrack is so out of place in this kind of comedy

  • Gonna say good looking?!!........LOL

  • I DID'NT force her!!! LMFAO - so dark...so f*cking dark!

  • @kingsod hahaha

  • tht was soooo gd

  • This was the 1st League sketch I ever saw, and what got me hooked on the series. I still ask people "are you very kind, kind, fairly kind or not at all kind to animals" at every chanceI get. haha.

  • haha it's a good fiirst league of gentlemen to see, the first one i saw was where tubbs is suckling the piglet! and i was only small when i saw it lol.

  • Its so odd how Reece makes a beautiful woman! lol. :)

    The League are wonderful <3

  • hahahaha lol harsh, i love this show. Probably the most twisted comedy ever, Brillant, makes me proud to be British.

  • WE DIDENT BURN HIM!

  • he's looking for a boy

    poofder eh?

  • loll! why do i have a thumbs down?

  • steve pemberton can play some of the darkest characters ever created

  • 'I didn't force her'

the sudden but seemless plunge into the darkness that LoG do so well.

    Psychoville is also legendary.

  • They are so good at playing different characters!

  • Anyone remember the opening sketch when he stops at Pop's kiosk and buys a copy of Dog's Arses?

  • yeah i remember that one cos he was lookin at cats arses 1st b4 he settled on dogs ,,lmao XD

  • I DIDN'T FORCE HER!! classic!!!

  • It was gonna be "I didn't rape her!" But they changed it because they thought it would be censored. I think 'force' is better though anyway.

  • Everything they do is brilliant. Wish League would come back.

  • theres a bloke in our office like the fella in this ha ha!!

...they are back in a way. All the cast are in 'Psychoville' on thur nights! Its V good!

  • except reece shearsmith

  • Omg steve looks so sweet as a weirdo/ freak HAHA .... LOL and reece looks funny as hell LMAO!!!

  • Reece playing a woman is so funny! But I love his laugh he does playing Olive! LMFAO! I laughed so much!

  • Hi Steve...how the bloody hell did you do this? it dont look like you?

  • their new sitcom Psychoville is brilliant by the way :D

  • This clip brings back memories, an amazing show. The first 2 series' were brilliant i've watched them loads. The 3rd season not so good in my opinion or the christmas special. And yes Little Britain "borrowed" a lot of their stuff from LOG. Pauline and Micky love my favourite characters. Classic

  • God, I so agree with the plagerism of The League of Gentlemen by Little Birttain. It is so obvious in nearly every clip I have watched here.

  • yep majorie from fat fighters looks like it had some influences from a certain restart officer :)

  • Pure Genius.

  • Reece is so good at playing women!

  • So this what your are or what you want?

    That's what I want.

Right. I was going to say good-looking.

    LOL 5/5

  • I felt sorry for him when he said he was 2 out of 10 for confidence

  • " so did you meet him through an agency then?"

    "hahaha!!! Oh GOD no..."

I love the league. also re little britain comments, I completely agree. LoG were so original and dark, and could top any comedy on today.

  • Agree re earlier comment on how much Little Britain stole off the League. . . those two aren't a patch on these guys!

  • ooh it's like cracker this isn't it, why did you force her, why did you force her!

  • I DIDN'T FORCE HER!

  • is that dave ;)

  • *whispers* ...I didn't force her...

  • He looks so pervy and strange!

  • it's the eyes...

  • I love League Of Gentlemen.

Is it just me are his eyes really really black??

  • Theyre really really black

They did a good job with the make up

  • I agree with the below comment..

  • Jeez, Tbh, Little Britain have stolen so much of LOG. I mean watshername on the computer with her 'computer says no' sketch is highly modelled upon the conclusive and rude character portrayed in this sketch.

  • @blackxcandy

    I agree with you!

  • @blackxcandy Little Brittain is spunk, how we know this is by looking at how many series they've squeezed out of the same catch phrases, Geoff Tipps rocks.

  • @blackxcandy On the comparison that this character speaks constantly and is quite animated, whereas the character in LB is slow, lazy and lacking in social and communication skills. The only similarity is that they are both rude. Jeez, I wouldn't want you as an expert witness in my court case.

  • he looks a little like Andrew Lloyd Webber rofl

  • I DIDN'T FORCE HER!!!!!

  • They did the make up wonderfully - the greasy skin, the black eyes and the tight clothes. Proper weirdo - i used to live opposite a man like this. real creep.

  • Ummmmm, any real fans, (as in anyone who were listening to them in the 90's..) Knows this...C'Mon! Its so utterly obvious...But what Lil Britain lacks, is everything LOG is about...the LOG don't do 'sketches' they do 'Reality in Roysten Vasey'...

  • Aha Ha Ha!! You do know that "Little Britain" came several years AFTER "League"? And Reeves & Mortimer...to name 2 shows that "Little Britain" basically stole from wholsale.

See League Of Gentlemen's Pauline & compare with Fat Fighters.

"Little Britain" is no more than a theft of Reeves & Mortimer and League of Gentlemen...and not half as funny as either.

    So now you know.

  • wow i knew they stole from the league of gentleman but come on.
