  • lol try it on hypermode on the trilogy version

  • I feel like such a retard trying to dodge his boost attack as a morph ball.

  • he,s easy for my on hard mode

  • Guys you can beat him easy if you do the bomb trick.

When he goes into his speed ball form he has to charge up for a sec before boosting around, just quickly get near him while he's charging and lay some bombs beside him, if your fast they'll explode before he boosts and he immediately turns into puddle form and then after that solid form. I beat him easily after I learned how to do it.

  • So if he doesn't hit you at all when he is a ball he will go back into normal form? For me he just stays as a ball.

  • just beat this guy on hard mode, i shot him with 2 super missiles at the beginning and unloaded as much light ammo as possible.

    *****

DO NOT get hit when he flings himself at you, he will train your energy

DO not get hit when he is in a puddle

when he is flying around, i started space jumping and blowing the inglets with a charged power beam

beat him w 10 energy left

  • @fistleon ITS CHALNGIN^^

  • excuse me....uhh HARD MODE!?

  • The only boss that killed me. Pain in the ass.

  • he has 5 bars lol i have only 3 bars of health maybe i should go back and try to heal up

  • I beat him on my second try on Normal. From everything I had heard about him, I was expecting him to be in a pool of acid, covered in Phazon, with Dark Samus riding him. I was a little surprised when it turned out to be this.

  • just beat this guy on my first try, too bad it was on easy mode XD

  • I've beaten this game a dozen times and I still suck at this boss

  • This boss was hard, I remember that freak pretty well ^^

  • If only you could have lightburst... and he was A LOT slower

  • How can you still have three hundred fucking energy when you've got him so far down in health?

  • how shitty would that be if you killed him when you had like 5 energy left and then you died right before you could get back to a safe zone

  • I was just thinking that.

  • very shitty, i suffer from experiance from that, and i had to do it with 2 e-tanks,.

  • this guy should have been the last boss Na just kidding but they made this far to hard it should have been around the end of the game

  • @nintendoforever1995

The reaon he's so hard is becuase you have limited hp. If he was at the end he would have been easy.

  • The problem with this guardian is the UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF ENERGY you lose by his attacks! There's only one way to succesfully beating this guy and that's by AVOIDING. AVOID CONTACT, NO MATTER WHAT. He's just a pussy in solid form, but as soon as he breaks into that brown glowing blob- get. The F*. Away from him. The same counts for his morph ball form, of course. Do the chicken dance, do anything to avoid his attacks! I beat him right away today in hard mode, but boy. He's a real B*. >P

  • I just noticed that the lines on the floor were you fight him looks exactly like Dark Samuses Morph Ball seen from the side.

  • I never could beat this boss(on hard mode), but today I got that ammo expension and he was actually pretty easy then. I did 1/2 of his life away before he turned into a ball for the first time.

  • I beat him with just 50 beams... :p Super missiles work just as well for me... I just ignore the stupid little Inglets, though it's great if you can just blast them away with light beams 'cause you got ammo to spare! >D The original poster did a good job in morph ball mode, by the way. I prefer jumping, personally. :3

  • The Inglets are a fucking pain in the ass and hard to ignore. I've gone up against this damn thing about twenty times and haven't beaten it once. I keep dying RIGHT when it would be done in with a super missile.

  • There's just one thing about the Boost Ball that I don't understand..

How the heck does it come that all the bosses that imitate the Boost Ball, Boost Guardian, Dark Samus and Gandrayda all have a better version? They all have one that is more powerful, comletely unstoppable and renders them invincible. Why doesn't Samus have that too? I mean, if anyone should have it, then it should be her, NOT the others who are just COPYING it! I just had to get that off my mind.

  • Thing about those item guardians is, that they concentrate their power on one thing, while samus operates all suit's capabilities. Ever played Metroid Fusion? There was an X-virus who mimicked Samus at full power. That could also explain both dark samus and gandrayda.

  • I guess that could be a possible explanation. That or the fact that the designers of the game doesn't want the player to be too powerful..

  • My explanation is that Ing are stupid as F* and concentrate on developing one skill, much like predators in our world do. Their just beasts, in my opinion anyway. They don't seem so... Enlighted as the Luminoth and I can hardly imagine them controlling any kind of technology. So I guess they are much like Cheetas, white sharks and crocodiles: all are formidable predators, but they all have their obvious flaws because they focuss on just one thing. They're dangerous, but not intelligent.

  • I don't think they're stupid though cause the ing have a hierachry and beasts don't really have that except bees and ants, but the ing are not insects last time I checked. They're like a combination of humans and predators. They're smart enough to hide there keys and steal their energy.

  • The ing make everything stronger when they "corrupt" it. Sort of like phason and they wouldn't even have existed if it wasn't for phazon. So yeah...

  • I gave up on this game on the last boss, so freakin hard, and I thought this boss was hard.

  • This and the spider guardian are probably the most difficult bosses in the game, mostly because they give a lot of damage.

    Good hunting

  • Excellent job.

  • Im on this guy right now. And he is way harder on hard. I need some more energy tanks because 3 is not getting the job done. nice video by the way

  • I think you can have up to 6 tanks when fighting him.

1: temple grounds(TG) storage cavern B. 2 agon wastes(AW) mining access.3 AW bioenergy production.4 Torvus temple access 5 AW mine shaft(black door in Agon temple)6 dark torvus cache B(chamber underneath dark torvus temple i am not sure you can reach this one without beat the boost gaurdian first though. good luck.

  • yeah ishould probably go back looking for energy tanks

  • Wow..I even got an early energy tank and I STILL die on hard. :(

  • Ah. I forgot the Mine Shaft E-Tank and the first ammo expansion... Backtrack time! In my experience, this is the most difficult boss in the game, for several reasons:

    1) There's atmosphere damage

    2) Hurting him is a pain

    3) His attacks are hard to avoid

  • those inglets Piss me off....when he's boosting around i kill them for energy.

  • nice
