well from what i see here the V1 has a bit more range... i just got the 8500(non x50) and i have to say, judging by this test for 80 dollars the 8500 was a steal

@paintballmoreyo That theyre almost the same, but the V1 has a little better sensitivity plus the directional arrows are much more practical
