Best game ever made, hands down...by far the best in the series followed by Medieval 2. I really dont want them to rush out a Rome 2 TW, if they are going to make one they need to take their time and get it right. Haven't played Shogun 2 yet but the previous two (Empire and Napoleon) were garbage. They don't need to tarnish RTW by making a shit sequal

There is no way you can have that many units in one unit card! This trailer is so misleading. What I really hated about Rome is that some factions always lost, for example the Seleucid Empire always disappeared after 250 or 220 B.C and Egypt were always dominant in Africa and middle-east, thankfully they changed it in later games. There´s still alot of bugs in Rome but oddly CA stopped updating the game in december 2005. This game could be better if CA continued updating the game.

@29philo You recruit an assassin from a city of yours like you would any other unit. He will be under the AGENTS tab in your city, same as a diplomat or a spy. Point, click n'go. That's about it. I hope that helped :)

@MegaVideoposter first you have to win the Campaing with 1 of the roman family, but then you unlock Egypt, Greece, Gauls, Germania, Parthia and Carthage. There are more factions, but you can play as them only on skirmish battles

@lozano1020 Activision was the one who published the first Medieval Total War and originally published Rome Total War. Then SEGA bought CA, that's why the gold version of RTW was published by SEGA.

Creative Assembly already announced on the 2nd of June that they would make Shogun 2.

IMO They're gonna make a good game and apply all their expierence and technology for a remake of shogun.

After that I bet they'll make Rome 2

@NotSoBraveDave It's the best Era in the total war series, then it's Medieval Era, besides that Medieval 2 makes for a better game, better visuals, not anything has changed in the real time battles but just better combat animations.

The diplomacy is much more diverse and interesting in Medieval 2 aswell. But I get what your saying, HELL YEAH!, Rome 2 : Total War please!
