  • I tried this exercise at the gym tonight, first time I've had ago. And man did I not attempt it! even trying to get in the start position was tricky and the way the ball moved I know if I put all my weight on it I would rock and fall flat on my face!!! did't dare risk it. I may have had my hands wrong but it felt very unstable. reps done = none, noses broken - none!

  • awsome, some people like me doesn't go to the gym, so i use your home made videos, and wow they make me sweat and with time, my muscles are getting bigger without doing dumbbells, i just use one dumbbell

    doing lots of excerises may (inirectly and directly) boost my immunity system. But what is your take on the effect of excercising while ill?

    I'm currently suffering from about of influenza, and I was wondering if the answer is still "fitness". Shouldn't all my energy be directed to getting well?

  • @cr91fan Good luck. Not many people can go through with it because it's designed to drain your body. Stop doing p90x after a month and watch your body suck all those calories back up. Anything designed for the general public isn't usually a good long term solution.

  • @xxsul6anxx Because you get control how big you get by your caloric intake. He is satisfied with his size and likes to be lean. So he eats the amount of food that allows him to stay that size. Just cause you train a lot doesn't mean your going to get big. Someone can train for years and if they eat the same amount of food the whole time they are just going to look the same size but more lean.

  • @harrymaynard Partially genetics. Our genetics will only allow for us to reach a certain size naturally but it also has to do with caloric intake. If you increase your calories by 500-1000 calories a day you will put on weight. If you don't train most of that will be fat. If you do train and you aren't putting on muscle before the increase and you do increase by 500-1000 calories a day most of it will be muscle.

  • @xxsul6anxx Increasing body weight/mass/size has to do with caloric intake. It's metabolically expensive to build muscle mass. Which is why when you bulk you need to eat more calorie dense foods because it allows for adding muscle to take place. Eating lots of food also increases your natural growth hormone release which will allow for muscle gain as well. If you did the same exercise as a top bodybuilder with a generic diet you will not build muscle without increasing your caloric intake

    Trying to have someone do an exercise to "turn them from a boy into a man" won't work if they aren't ready...

    Thats like making a kid have sex when they 8 to try to "turn a boy into a man" it won't work.

  • dear scott.. always been a true follower of your workout videos..its been great but lately could see that you are running out of workouts and stuff..its being reflected on most of the videos.. but I feel you can do demo videos on snatches and power lifts, olympic lifts and workouts of that kind where most folks do wrong and pay the price as their back & stuff.. looking forward for more good stuff as always from you. cheers from ceylon :)
