  • @lancecryor one of the best reviews on this fightstick others iv seen have been rubbish, you do what I do look on here for reviews of the stuff

  • Those SE sticks break to easily (the buttons). They are also very light and move all over the place. Good thing is, you can mod them with sumitsu or sanwa parts.

  • would this be good for the new mk?

  • nice review im trying to upgrade from a regular ps3 controller, but i dont know what to get.

  • @ratchthps get wwe brawl stick they are 80, dollars

  • @DJEvilYun there 49.99 @ gamestop

  • People need to stop reviewing things the day after they get things. Not hating, I love you, but your later videos are like "IT BROKE!" and back in 2009 you got people to buy it.

  • you callin me a fag? look at you you are a gay ass gamer lmfao foreal!!! stop spaming my page pussy

  • When you mod this stick with Sanwa parts, is it significantly better in performance? Need to know cuz there's a store (in NYC, nearest from NJ) that sells Sanwa parts and I need to know if it's worth it.

  • @NeedaBettrName its worth it

  • Were did you buy it from?

  • Comment removed

  • @iDeadlyShinobi I'd recommend amazon..

  • Does the PS3 stick work on PC?

  • good review, i just picked a pre-modded one of these up for 60 bucks. i have a MvC2 TE but am still excited about getting this.

  • Hey Lance, is it easier to play Street Fighter 4 on a square gate or a octagon?

  • @MarioBro15 square gate is better for charging and dragon punches. it has a little bit more of a learning curve though. i suggest sticking with square. just gotta go to the lab and practice so you don't accidentally turn the stick too far.

  • haha. exactly.

  • haha

  • will this be any good for fight night

  • @sharpz44 the fight stick is meant for arcade fighting games(ex. Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat). Realistic fighting games like fight night and UFC are best played with regular controllers

  • @TheKennyWay It works with any fighting game

  • you are awesome bro. thanks for the review.

  • lmfaoo nice vid bro

  • i just gotta say thanks man, cuz if it wasnt for this review i wouldve spend 170 bucks buying the TE on madcatz.com instead of pickin the SE for 50 bucks at a gamestop. i went to a friends house who had a TE and i realized the only difference between that and the SE is that its fatter and harder to sit on your lap. lovin it so far. also i recomment getting an 8-way for your joystick it makes things much much better.

  • did your SE - Joystick brick yet ?

  • @yurushii ur one of the lucky ones mine stoped working the same night i got it now im waiting for a better one the hori real arcade pro ex much better than this one(not saying this one is bad but the one im getting i much better^^)

  • @wolfbite6 real talk its been proven people who are unhappy about something tell 10 people on average about how something sucked people who are happy with shit they buy on average tell 3.....point being theres always ganna be a fait bit more negative shit to be heard on the internet about shit then postive and i can say mine works fine too sure the te has the authentic jap arcade box parts but as long as they work and i can do my combos fuck it i play for hours a day and mines still trucking

  • solid review getting it tomorrow for mvc3

  • @wolfbite6 I got mine for $39.99! I love it!

  • going to get this once MVC3 is out, gona spend exactly 107 bucks in 1 visit to gamestop xD

  • "if" you get lucky? thats bull its just ass you know it man

  • @giggs12d3 im not a spokes person for madcatz or nothin. The TE's and stuff are much better no doubt, but this one aint bad.

  • @RRReviews

I would honestly like to know whats good about it, the only thing i can think of is the case. it's easy to mod and add art to. thats all i can think of

  • @giggs12d3 idk sometimes the stick is great, sometimes it comes faulty (loose washer and such). It's a gamble when you get the stick, and like i said, just get a TE or somethin

  • Nah, it's only good after you mod it... You'd have to change the stick especially. What a noob review.

  • Nigga please don't tell me that stick is good thats shit may seem good when you first play it, but give it a minute and that is going to break down on you

  • @giggs12d3 the buttons die really quick. I would pick one up just to put custom parts in it

  • @RRReviews

yeah I know the SE stick is good for modding and what not but it's the fact this guy is trying to tell me the Se is a good stick he know he be bull shittin

  • @giggs12d3 He's telling the truth. The stick will be good IF you get lucky. Ive had people tell me to buy it cause its been working perfectly for months on end. But most of the time they're just sacks of shit with a stick on them -_-

  • Yep, im so getting this in a couple weeks when i save up enough money, good review bro, i heard alot about that "its a cheap watered down version of TE" too, but im gonna take your word and get myself this fine piece of machinery.

  • good review my nigga

  • this vid old man lol i remember when i first thought of gettin one (t.e) i seen this when i first seen lance(subscribe if you havent) ..and in a few weeks that shit broke lmao

  • I prefer my controller cause my stick always acts like a bitch

  • Hey does this work with Super Street Fighter 4?

  • @ElectrifyingCinema Yeah. ...obvious.

  • @popo237 Whao,,,,ok easy there Charlie Murphy!

  • @ElectrifyingCinema Who is that? I'll google it.

  • @ElectrifyingCinema Yes......

  • BROOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! What song do you have in the background. That's the only thing I heard during this video!!! It's so chill.

  • @JazzBass7 Cammy's SSF2 Turbo HD Remix theme

  • @h00dRaTchronicles Thank you sooooooooooooooo much.

  • I got the se stick, and about 2 weeks later, down left block stopped working along with MP and HK. You think if I mod with sanwa parts it'll be just like the te stick???

  • @destroytheface yes...most people mod them right away...the se is only bought for the base...the buttons and stick are not meant to last a couple hours...

  • @KirbyOnCronic alright cool man thanks. im definitely gonna get the parts. i really wanna get use to the stick.

  • @destroytheface as do I...but I won't buy a SE stick until I find one for under 30 bucks, simply because my d-pad works just fine...

I had the TE edition, but I wasn't very impressed with the feel of the buttons so I returned it after two weeks...If I get an SE stick, I plan to mod it with Seimitsu buttons instead...

  • @KirbyOnCronic Yea seimitsu buttons are very good also. I like their sticks. It is cheaper to go with the SE stick with full mod then the TE now, but waiting till the price drop is not a bad idea if you can wait.

  • the se sucks i bought one used it for a month didnt like it then upgraded to te and its worth every cent you make a good salesman though

  • Hey man, great review...but have you tried de TE edition? Does the sanwa parts make that BIG of a diference? Thx

  • @xklonoax if you are only playing with a arcade stick, i say yes. i tried the SE, SE with sanwa parts and TE. but sure the best thing is the TE cuz feels less cheap and its more heavy, so there you go. sry if my english is bad, thats cuz im french lol

  • @xklonoax whats the diff between the se and the te?

  • @lecharn TE has Sanwa.. SANWA!

  • @KoopaThaKing I found that out and ordered Sanwa parts but the postal service LOST MY PACKAGE!!!

  • @lecharn That's the mail for ya lol

  • great review, think im getting this one. does it work with pc too? would probably use mine with ggpo.

  • Great review man, I'm picking this up for sure!

  • my se fightstick has a problem...i cant use my headset. my headset works, i use it with my controllers and it works.ive already opened it and cant see any problems. the fightstick works great so any help will be very appreciated!

  • i definitely adore the game. i obtained it this morning 100 % free from mw2forfreeSinfo (replace S with .) and then made use of the funds i ended up saving to purchase a brand new better mouse. i believe that i am not bad however mostly because of the mouse i bought

  • @germville yes you can.

  • i was thinking about getting one, but i keep reading bad stuff about it. saying that the joystick and buttons crack on you within months. any other suggestions?

  • @kupiddaexplicit replace them with sanwa parts, its easy to do.

  • @kupiddaexplicit

a lot of people say a lot of bad shit about these sticks...but i bought one about a year ago, played SSF4 a lot with it(plus i dont really have what you would call a "gentle touch")and to this day i had no problems whatsoever with it...everythings still workin as smoothly as the 1st day...maybe i was just one of the lucky ones who got a good version of it...however,all i can say from my PERSONAL experience...these work great(but thats just me)

  • Hey have you ever thought about changing the artwork to the stick?I havent seen alot of people on youtube changing the artwork =\

  • Ok, I have a question. I live in Germany, and I want one. Does anyone know where I can get one? D:

  • @KyojiroKagenuma Ebay Or Amazon is good

  • hey what's up i just got the standard edition stick and i can't keep my hands off of it im looking for some players to play me so i can get more used to it and improve my game for anyone who's intereseted my psn: Reapers0095 it can be games in general doesn't really matter.

  • @Rapthorne54

do you have the new blazblue? SSf4...? etc

  • @enditend Out of all the fighting games i have its sf4, tk6, sc4, mvc2. I don't like blazblue and im not getting ssf4 until im done mastering sf4.

  • @Rapthorne54

lolol "im not getting ssf4 until im done mastering sf4."

No one plays sf4 anymore dude

  • @wegrobes actually you'd be surprised how many people you'd still find online, also; some of my friends prefer the original although they have both, and f.y.i when i said that i meant when i got the platinum trophy.

  • A lot of people say that MadCatz is awful. I just want it because it looks better than a normal xbox controller. Was it worth it? Because everyone doesn't like it.

  • I was thinking of getting one umm i have been a controller user since street fighter 2 is it hard to convert over? im honestly worried about needing to relearn every combo in the book.

  • i like this better than the TE since its cheaper, you can swap the buttons to sanwa so it would feel the same and it has better art work

  • what happen to that chair in front o f you looks like some one took a bite out of it

  • what is everyones ideal gun? i like the rpg personally. its very easy to be able to wreck everyone by using it! my roomie calls me a noob for making use of it but who cares. i'm somewhat different i guess! yet at the very least i didnt be forced to pay for the game. i down loaded it without charge on mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) last week

  • I've seen some feedback from some costomers for this and some say that it broke right out of the box

  • Man this stick is a disappointment. It worked good for me for about 2 months and just about a week ago the jab button shorting out(works about 4/10 pressing it).

  • @TheTrillz

That happened to me, I baught some sanwa buttons its awesome now

  • this dude is so legit! lolz. I mean all these High Priced Reviews being payed off to give reviews, this dude just sumed it out for us common folk lolz. THANKS BRUH!

  • Just a year and a half late...but oh well, just ordered one of these thanks to your review, im not a great street fighter 4 player, but I'm an okish guile and hopefully i'll get use to it. Thanks alot for this good review of the stick!

  • it's pretty freaking good for the first couple of weeks. Then its true shittyness starts to show... SE = garbage.

  • Comment removed

  • I was gonna get a Dual Modded SE off e-Bay for $102, but I thought a TE one would be better. I heard the SE one is very bad.

  • can someone PLEASE tell me what the fuck SANWA is????

  • @MadMetalSlayer the buttons, as well as the stick. They are japanese made buttons and are widely considered as the standard (best) as far as stick parts come. I have them and they're amazing, you could actually buy a standard edition and swap the parts out for a sanwa (it's really easy) saving you some money but the tournament edition is really a good investment if you're trying to get good.

  • @Thegearsofwar2268 alright thanks. i might get a SE stick. my friend might give me some sanwa buttons too. but i honestly don't care what i get, it just has to be better that this shitty Xbox360 controller XD

  • Good review bro

Always better to play with Cammy then Ken lol

  • ...mount to the table? I never heard of that but I wouldn't trust those tiny screws for it either.

  • hey lancecryor, my dad is a big fan of street fighter, and he only has street fighter 4, its nearly his birthday, what should i buy him?, a fightstick?, the xbox live super street fighter 2 turbo remix token?, gamepad?, superstreet fighter 4?

  • thats awesome i want one now this controller is making me want to play sf4 online and kick everyones ass

  • for some reason i cant get this arcade stick to work on my ps3?

is there something i have to do to turn it on?

  • @123shaheer123 Yup the fight stick works with pretty much all fighting/arcade games :)

  • Nice review and i love hd remix XD

  • will this work with tekken 6?

  • SE 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!!

  • dude this stick is good huh?? button get stuck and the pcb get scratched and the stick get shut down -DO YOU KNOW WHAT PCB is- well u get what u pay PEOPLE KEEP MENTIONING SANWA PARTS BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY LAST OVER A MONTH. do your research

  • what does the sanwa do

  • @bankaivsnaruto: sanwa is a company for arcade parts...for example sanwa joystick is called the JLF and JLW...their buttons are the OBSF......etc

  • what is sanwa

  • @bankaivsnaruto arcade parts company in Japan

  • Can someone please answer my question does this stcik have a mic imput so i can plug my wired mic inside it ?

  • You make a good point about reviewing the fight stick for what it is. If people are so worried about comparing it to the TE stick....then just buy the TE stick! Anyways, It is a good stick in it's own right. I agree with you.

  • @onikage2099 guile's a charge character so yea its pretty tough to learn him on stick

  • what is your exact button layout for your fight stick

  • Good review man keep it up!

  • he reminds me of dave chapelle as tyrone biggums.

  • hey after one year do u think it was worth it becuz i want a fight stick should i get this one or the te Stick

  • @TheProdigy2365 its only $40 now for PS3, $50 for 360. Im buying the SE and if the buttons start messing up ill just mod it and put it Sanwa parts. Its not worth it buying the TE edition for $150 when you can just buy SE for $40 and put in Sanwa parts.

  • @Lvl99Sephiroth thanx for the advice

  • I have a HRAP EX (Modded with Sanwa Buttons lol) And never payed attention that the 8 buttons were layed out for Jap or American play... lol But I am use to Jap now anyway.

  • big enough lips or

  • that's what I bought. I made a huge mistake buying it though but I wanted to put some money aside for SSF4. fortunately, I'm gonna mod my fightstick with a Sanwa joystick

  • I play jap style, american is complicated to me cause the default setup for the pad is j-style

I think I'm gonna get myself a hori ex2 when ssf4 comes out, you think I should just keep my pad?

  • well done free1up i agree with you this is a very good arcade stick. Too many scrubs complain about the se stick because they cant play well on sticks. I have no problems with it. I own te and hori pro 3. I would still recommend it to anyone who wants decent stick.

  • whats your psn add me its ROB1ML i play sf 2 hd remix im trying to get used to my fs3 by hori my first a stick

  • can you take off the faceplate?

  • I have this same stick, and i have problems with the corners, qcf on 1st player side sometimes is less responsive than other times.

  • yeah man thats an awesome stick the only one i have seen like it is the arcade pro the artwork is no where near as good but im an artist anyway so! but i does hace turbos and its 65.00 dollars so it must be prety good wont really know until i get one. Been playin online but xbox360 control for pc is absolute crap.

  • took me a good 2 months to switch from a controller to a stick

  • whats the deffrents between tournamend edition and standart? oo and if i buy fightstick for the x360 can i play with it on my pc?

  • tournament edition is better, if you don't know much about the parts that's all you need to know

the standard edition is basically an "el cheapo" version of the tournament edition, most people end up modifying the stick themselves later with sanwa parts. If you got 150 bucks just save yourself the trouble and buy a tournament edition.

  • Yeah you can, I got the pad for my pc too.

  • Thanx 4 this. I hate how most people compaire this to the TE stick.

  • s e sucks

  • i might get myself the street fighter 4 fightstick soon

  • lance how much did it cost u to mod ur second se stick

  • @VietxMike if he ordered the parts form lizard lick, its around $50 give or take 5.

  • can someone tell me how to ryus ultra on this thing i keep doing the shuryken

  • lance im a noob lol and I was wondering how long it took you to adjust to using an arcade stick?

  • gah so many choices, so confusing

i want to buy a 3rd party one that works with multiple consoles.

  • Is this still in stores? Is there a store that I can get this? I honestly don't want to be playing street fighter 4 with a controller.

  • Awesome review

  • mod this with sanwa parts and its the same shit as the TE but smaller

  • what setting do you use on your fightstick, left analog stick or d-pad? is there a difference?

  • Lance I love when you imitate the stupid people's voice like when you said "BUT IT DOESNT HAVE SANWA PARTSSSS" like with that super nerdy voice lol i love it

  • the TE edition rapes dude also the SE stick breaks down in 2-3 months for hardcore gamers with default parts so the TE is the way to go the review is coming 12/25/09

  • Saaaannwa PaaaAaarts

  • hey man, do you use this fight stick for SF4. If you do how does it work for you?I'm thinking about getting one

  • The buttons stopped responding so he replaced them, check out his other videos

  • im pretty sure that those are sanwa, if not they're def. imitation sanwa. just ordered one, and im hoping i wont have to mod it for a while. im flat broke. XD

  • @Pivotpeople71369

you will be modding it after a few months. Got mine at the end of july. Im modding it this week.

Its nice if you are a begginer and new to stick but after a while the responsiveness fades and buttons can stop working. Also the stick becomes very loose.

  • i didnt know niggas from the hood played street fighter

  • Does this stick work with every Fighting Game? Or is it some Street Fighter only stuff?

  • any fighting game

  • how is not using the all 3 punch/ kick buttons japanese? that just means you just actually press 2 buttons for EX and 3 for ultra which insant that hard. I would use the all 3 for ultra tho

  • i think he means american style button layout, like in american arcades, see how the buttons on the right are straight in line with each other, while the buttons on the left are angeled down, like in japanese arcades

  • Does this work for PC too?

  • yep

  • i bought one a little over a week ago and the down-back microswitch stopped working properly after like 3 or 4 hours of play. ):

  • Just got mine at Fry's for $40 new. It's aight... nice weight. I don't care for the button layout... (like it's made for your left hand instead wtf?) The stick control is 4 way (BOX) so for those like me who are used to the HAPP Arcade sticks, this is annoying.

    Thanks for the review.

  • Tell me about this..."Fry's" you speak of.

  • yeah bro i was surprised how responsive it was when i gots mine just today

    .

playing since SF1 and with different sticks this stick is all good. but, if your gonna tear it up its better to swap in some higher quality parts to take the abuse of wear and tear. or get TE/use as base.

    props to Madcatz though

  • ooh free if only you knew the horrors of this stick back then!! I finally got my TE Round 2 stick (pre ordered since it seems it's the only way to actually get one of these things for a decent price)

  • Im buyin the TE and the SE therefore i could never say what if. Also if there not at the stores I could always find them on ebay.

  • i like these fighting games even tho i dont own SF4 atm, but i stay on MvC2 for the 360 and i was wondering if i should get the stick because i use the 360 controller and the analog because i cant stand the dpad (even tho the analog isnt that much better for me) im pretty sure it would help improve my game but i dunno if its worth it. i will be getting SSF4 and Tekken 6

  • the SE stick hasn't ..oh wait i had to repair it first day -_- but since then it's been fine...still planing to mod it.

but yeah nice review..and the good you said has turned to hate XD

  • *in mocking voice* "It's not the tournament edition, it doesn't have SANWA parts!" Oh man how that came to haunt him later(now) xD

  • you are so right man what was i thinking.. DIEEEEEEEEE SE FIGHTSTICK!!!!!

  • It's okay man *pats on back*. I am only 17 so I can hardly even afford my own stick period. I use my bro's SE stick. It is soooo in and out, and recently the stick has been acting up. I can't move left or jump sometimes. Then other days it works like a charm...So unreliable.

  • @lancecryor I'm finally considering investing in one after watching so many of your videos. Then I keep saying things about the SE version having problems...might just be wiser for me to go with TE but with $130 or up as a price tag I don't spend anything just yet.

  • @Ravenex2 meant "seeing," not "saying." xD

  • hey were do buy it online but for xbox 360 but the same exact fightstick

  • THANK YOU for doing a review of the SE stick by itself w/o comparing it to the TE. I had the same exact questions as you and now I am going to save me 130 bucks and just get the SE fight stick. And I love cammy too! See you online, bro!

  • Great Review Bro XD
