  • "Man went sidewalk diving."

I kinda laughed my ass off there :D

  • steves ear ring is on the gay side

  • damn no mercy.

  • 5-10 years from now I may read the book, but the Watchmen movie was so horrible it made me want to break my own index finger

  • Optimus Prime?

  • " Please, don´t kill anybody"

    and

" i´ve just broken this gentleman´s little finger"...

    THE BEST XD

  • comedian sucked anyway!!!

  • I liked Jackie Earle Haley better. Suited Rorschach's character better, I think, as Rorschach is a small, angry little man.

  • The comics stated he was short, but he wore elevator shoes to mask it.

    (Im serious, check the novel.).

  • I agree I saw the Movie before I read the Graphic Novel..

Even when I read the Graphic novel JEH's Voice of Rorschach came to mind

  • what kind of cigarette were they smokin in the vid

  • I like this voice better. I feel like JEH was trying to do a little Christian Bale's Batman in the Watchmen movie and make his voice all gravelly. But in the comic all it says is that Rorschach talks in a monotone.

  • listen to Alan Moore do Rorschach's voice. he does it in a couple of interviews on youtube. It is very gravely, low, and the tenses are broken up. the way it's done in the movie is actually how it is meant to be. the man WROTE the damn comics for chist's sake.

  • But Moore's interpretation is calmer and monotone, while Haley's is more agressive and angrier. This is closer to Moore's vision.

  • @Josephdorf03 It's not Alan Moore.

  • @joesomenumbers Good point, but it was stated in an interview that JEH would scream his voice out before filming or voice recording so he could have a gravelly voice. That's dedication.

  • i actually prefer his voice like this than in the movie.

  • I can Just feel those fingers breaking 'Crack'

  • what is this? The interactive comic book turned dvd?

  • I think its better when JEH is doing it but again anyone can do a good impersonation of Rorschach(besides me)

  • I have to say, RORSCHACH'S A LEFTY! :D

  • "I have business elsewhere, with a better class of person..."

    Haha. Adrian?

  • I know Alan Moore would use a voice like this, but there are a lot of things that Moore wanted for his GN that I didn't care for. I liked the movie's interpretation. Haley rocked ^^

  • his voice is definitely not dark enough. Jackie Earle Haley should have voiced it

  • I agree 100%. Rorschach NEEDS a dark voice. It' just him. ^^

  • Rorschach's awesome. My personal second best.

  • The motion comic is good, the editing in particular. Would've been great if they had used the actual actors to voice it.

    I'll just stick to reading.

  • I wonder if they used David Hayter's voice for rorschach..that would be cool

  • That would be resonable, but then Rorschach will say "Hurmh" in alot of his lines and action. LOL

But seriously, it might be that guy. His Solid Snake voice is somewhat similar to Rorschach

  • yeah

  • Ironically, the screen-writer for Watchmen was David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake =P

  • are you serios

  • Yup, he is.

  • Hahah yeah. But in the movie "Watchmen" He gots an very different voice, much more dark

  • The thing is, I imagined Rorschach to have a voice that mirrored his loathing of society and pretty much the whole damned world. This guy sounds like he's narrating a children's bedtime story.

  • It's actually closer to Moore himself's interpretation than JEH's. JEH was great but yeah.

  • I happen to like this voice better than the one in the movie. It sounds more monotone like it's supposed to, and unlike the one in the film, there happens to be a voice behind the moderate rasp. In the movie it's all raspy almost throat cancer sounding. Rorschach in the movie sounds chronic.

  • It's a shame this scene in particular didn't make it into the film. It's one of my favourites from the book.

    "I'm fine, Happy Harry. Yourself?"

  • The movie voice was better

  • I hate dr.manhattan He killed Rorschach fucking blue guy

  • I so fucking agree with you!

  • nightowl is like batman right?

  • nite owl is not as confident as batman

  • well...thats how his character was designed.

  • Very good job with the editting. I'm impressed

  • dats right.....

    break his fingers

    haha

  • Is that private production??

It´s the greatest I´ve ever seen.

    Great Job!

  • I think it's from the Motion Comics. It should be out on dvd soon.

  • his voice has too be more raspy

  • i hate this voice for him. it doesn't sound like rorschach at all. :-\

  • @ gallifrey: Out of curiosity, What did you expect him to sound like and why? This is almost exactly the way I imagined it, maybey a bit higher in pitch but considering that his word bubbles, his manner and personality and the history you learn about him are all so coarse, this is pretty much what I imagined.

  • his voice has to be low and raspy

  • yeah I know, it's just that because he's such a small guy I figured it'd be a little bit more like a smaller guy trying to sound deeper ya know? Anyway I'm excited! Going to see the movie in an hour or two!!

  • oh yea i understand

    cool

im going to watch it too

    probably during the week

my dad is going to get it for me

  • Rorschacs voice is better in the film :D

  • yes it is :D

  • Animation is good, Rorshach's voice is just plain wrong tho :/

  • While the voice acting leaves much to be desired, the animation (as limited as it is) is actually quite impressive.

  • how does his mask do that

  • SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK!

It's made out of a dress which is two layers of liquid latex which reacts to heat and pressure. He makes it into a mask.

  • @ project: Two heat-reactive layers of liquid latex? Really? I don't remember that at all. I'll have to check my copy when i get home... If that's right though, It's still kinda annoying the way they make his face move so damn much, considering that there's no way the heat of his face or pressure of his features against the mask is causing it to fluxuating that rapidly or randomly. Other than that though, pretty solid animation.

  • Thats as best I can remember.I'm a fan of the book, hope I'm not forgetting anything.

  • No, you were right. Chapter 6, page 10 "1962. Special Order for dress in new Dr. Manhattan Spin-off fabric. Viscous fluids between two layers latex, heat and pressure sensitive." I still say it shouldn't be moving so damn much though, except maybe around his mouth as it reacts to the heat of his breath as he talks, or maybe the cheecks and forehead if he get's blushed from physical exertion or anger. Good memory though on your part.

  • This is REALLY good!!

  • LoL! Rorschach you nut job!

  • wow very cool how they make it look and move

  • SkrullKing321 you are a fucking dumb ass

  • I don't like the voice for Rorschach, to be honest. The concept of this is superb though.

  • i think this is only a sample there is more u just gatta buy m wich sucks

  • awesome!

  • great, great work!

  • Amazing.

  • wow...
