No, I don't think race exists. Despite the physical differences every human has, there is a specific map that is the basis for every human being (the genome). I think race is a mindless construct that does more to harm progress than help it.

As a construct for classification, it clearly exists as seen on TV news reports and on census forms. Just because it is there doesn't mean I must acknowledge it.

A lot of the criticism about King is more towards the view that focuses slowly on the 'I Have a Dream' speech and ignores the other things that King said and wrote both in public and private.
