  • Whatever you do don't listen to this while reading Night. I'm close to crying :'(

  • Farewell Ornithicheirus!

  • Hmm... I appreciate everyone's comments here, but I can't hold myself back from posting my own. I'm a music writer myself; composer actually, not that this means anything, it's just that when i listen to music, i tend to hear it with a "mechanic's" ear as it were. this one just didn't do it for me. It was a fairly shallow attempt at texture, no attempt at a theme and the dynamics were aimless. As a whole it felt like the work was empty and void of character. Isn't it great how tastes can vary!

  • @MrDBarch while not a composer, i tend to listen to music fairly discerningly and i must disagree with you. i found the piece to directly reflect the atmosphere of the story. i dont know if you have seen the documentary but to me, through this music i can see the long sad struggle put on this magnificent creature. it shows the pain of a long life as well as the raw primordial enviroment the piece is set in. watch or rewatch wwd, think about it

  • @natesdevices I agree completely, this music fits the episode 100% out, its sad and gets one to think about the long struggle the creator was going through...

  • @Gartneren1234 yep this would have taken a long time and you have to have a lot of imagination to create these kinds of masterpieces...

  • @MrDBarch Hi there!

I think your mistaking, you see, in the series, this music was added to scenes where the music was needed... If you watch the episode where this song is from, you understand what i mean... Its sad, and the story the episode tells, is also sad, mixed together, the music and the episode gets supersad...

  • What other song could make you bawl over a creature that died 110 million years ago? :'(

  • I want this played at my funeral!

  • @Paleoworld101 Queerest motherfucker out

  • @WeDontStress Get on a john u kankerous noob mutha fuckin bitch ass nigga why u hatin cunt?

  • @WeDontStress go eat a bag of baby dicks u little stoopid ass muther fucker. u mad bro? 8====================D~ u like this in ur ass ^

  • Anyone know where I can still buy this soundtrack? Or would anyone be willing to send it to me? :)

  • The beginning of the end.

  • The music of WWD is way better than WWB

  • @cattycoon dinosaurs dude dinosaurs.....

  • R.I.P the largest thing that will ever fly except the airplanes.

  • I want a baby Stegosaurus!!!! :D :D

  • @TheBeanLaden care to wait another million years?if one of those virds decide to turn back in a dinosaur that would be so epic!!

  • @TheBeanLaden i mean birds not birds oops :L

  • @megaponful not virds srry

  • They ruled the skies supreme for 160 million years...growing into many dazzling and amazing forms...yet such mighty beasts sucumped to extinction...their reign over the skies destroyed, leaving their smaller feathered competitors the rulers of the sky...the Pterosaurs were magnificant, I would give anything to have one soar above me, casting its shadow over me, then flying away into the sunset...that would be amazing.

  • @clubpenguindino sweeeeeeet

  • At 2:20 to the end , it's my favourite part... In the serie, during this part, the Ornithoceirus be dying then dies.

I cry ... RIP, giant of skies !

  • Hey,I play violin.Maybe I could play it my self. 1:20 is best part.

  • Im figuring this out on piano at the moment. I think the king of the sky deserves to be remembered because even if the walknig with dinosaurs story wasn' t exactly real. There must have been those who shared a similiar fate to this great king.

  • benjamin bartlett has done such a magical job on this...i believe that a movie's soundtrack can make it or break it. It really is a good soundtrack...i wonder where i can get a hold of it...

  • So sad, ever since I first watched this when I was a kid, I still remember those few depressing notes. Its sort of a re-occuring conscious theme in my brain when something horrible occurs! Damn you Kenneth Graham!!

  • R.I.P. Ornithocheirus...:(

  • Thank you for uploading. ;)

  • i remember the Ornithocheirus, waiting for the rain to be over so he could start his journey again.. :O

  • The song is very melancholy and reflected sadness and makes you sad.has a single horn and violin.

  • @TheAllorex yep only two sad instruments and you are ready to cry :'')

  • The Ornithocheirus's passing was heart breakning...

  • @Nickzilla22 yeah he died lke an old man with wings.he realy looks like an old man with wings and a beak

  • This just makes dinosaurs alive. So sad but awesome theme!

  • All creatures great and small, like the mighty Ornithocheirus, pass through history.

Such a sad piece of music.

  • This music really makes me appreciate our world and all its creatures.
