The Bible is not self denial, it is the only TRUTH book in the world. In fact those who say they don't believe in it, and those who deny God, are themselves in the same Bible. You must understand, Deut.5:9 talks about not bowing down to images made by man because God does not allow it. James 3:16 is very true. Where there is strife there is evil. This is a warning for us people to stay away from such a place, because God loves us He wants everybody to be saved. See no contrast. (Isa.55:9)
