  • Reincarnation where da hell is that!

  • yeah i expected Ju-on to be on the list too. But hey it is a personal opinion (to all disclaimers) actually i wanna thank for the ideas what i should watch :P (i need to refresh my repertoire)

  • paranormal activity japanese ver

  • @CUTYFRUTY98 lmao

  • oh, how I LOVE suicide club.....

  • infection is (pardon my language) a huge mind fuck

  • iWantto Watch them now u.u

  • can you tell me a few j-horror movies with jorogumo, i mean..with spider woman?

I allready know wicked city and Dark Tales Of Japan - The Spiderwoman"...but i'm allways open for more horrormovies like "Spiderwoman" from Dark Tales, or Wicked City =). I really hope you can help me ö.ö

  • All good picks! I have seen Audition and it legitimately scared me!

  • i always go look for new Japanese horror these days, the english horror movies are so unoriginal and even less scary than they are original. Japan i love you for making great horror movies.

  • damn, I'm shitting my pants watching the pictures...

  • At #1: WANNA KNOW HOW I GOT THESE SCARES?!

  • Good list, but Premonition definitely wasn't scary at all!

  • 4:01 scared my ass off

  • No ju-on ???

  • OMG I was skipping some parts and suddenly I got to 4:01....scared the crap out of me =P

  • 1:23 is just live :x

  • Alot better, than the crap coming out of hollywoods big fat ass

  • Isnt it the ring? I mean who is ringu xD?

  • @xThExFiNaLxRaSenGaNx ringu is the original the ring. In Japanese they tend to be lazy with the creation of words, and some times just finds a way to right an existing word in there syntax. for example a popular Japanese drink is ramune which means lemonade. see what i mean. so ringu is actually just the Japanese syntax for ring lol.. I hope this helps =)

  • @gambitmagic201 tnx for that =D

  • @gambitmagic201 ramune is not lemonade. it's completely different kind of drink.

  • @kkkokkoa ima aware lol. ramune is a carbonated fruit drink, but its name is derived from the English word lemonade...lol

  • so which movie do you guys recomend me to watch to scare the shit out of me ? I swear I watccher bare movies but they just boring some of them are good but scares only once :D PLZZZ

  • One of the " One Miss Called" movies were really scary. There were 3 of them.

  • stupid "ringu" is the grudge!

  • @icecast88 Actually, Ringu and The Grudge (Aka Ju-on) are two different things entirely. Though they do both do have revenge involved. Just executed in different ways for different reasons.lol

  • The japanese definitely have some twisted minds..

  • lol the last one... "Lets put a smile on that Face!"

  • Must not watch any!!!!!! D:

  • how is it possible that i have not seen some of these!!??? HOW I HAVE SEEN THEM ALLLLLLL

  • i can now say im proud 2 b an asian!

  • 1:24 da fuck?

  • I've heard the tale of the Slit Mouthed woman, isn't it a old legend/Myth?

  • @Snapeeeeee Yes it is, It was made into a flim as well.

  • @xAfterAllWeAreHuman ;o I gotta watch it. Asian horror is always the best.

  • @Snapeeeeee So True! I only have the American Versions of the Grude and the Ring, I wana get the Japanese Versions though, Because people claim those are the best.

  • @xAfterAllWeAreHuman I have the English and Japanese versions of both but other than that all the horrors I have are American, and I think I might have a few British.

  • Suicide club is not really scary though. I forgot the title of the movie, but there's one movie that creeped me out a lot. I think its called Hair Extensions(?)

  • @lndefinable Exte ;)

  • Can u...upload sum of them on ur page??

  • Yeah Kuchisake-Onna represent man I love Carved

  • Where's The Grudge (Ju-On)? o.O

  • @WikedThing the grudge/ju-on, although popular, wasn't scary to me. a few moments that made me jump out of surprise, but it wasn't a genuinely very scary movie. -_- i actually think the american adaption was better.

  • @cxtchphrxse American adaptions are NEVER better.

  • @cxtchphrxse The American one was funny for some reason to me O_o well part 1

  • @WikedThing why can`t anyone understand that this is HER LIST. NOT YOURS.

  • @WikedThing i wonder too!!! :O

  • all these movies listed cannot be compared to the exorcist and paranormal activity .and suicide club wasnt scary it all but was kinda senseless.

  • @verycoollike The Exorcist and Silence of the Lambs are the only ones remotely comparable to the crazed madness that is Japan; I was surprised Ju-On wasn't on their. That movie scares me in America! x- x (The Grudge)

  • @xXMehMuffinXx dont even compare the exorcist with any other horror films its a legend and most of japanrese horrors are just creepy to me the only movie that i like was the grudge,ju-on and the ring which was a an american movie adaptation of a japanese comic.and my favorite horror series the nightmare on elm street movies which i dont see other horror movies as good as it i leave you with some warning:1, 2, Freddy's coming for you!!!!!!

  • @verycoollike you know , Horror films , their not scary but their bloody and it's a lot of killing :L like in PA, you can get scared and jump a little, but horror is like ,ewwww i don't want to watch xD

  • @verycoollike are you kidding... paranormal activity was stupid ass movie.

  • @InTheChang yet sold millions..even having japanese people copying it? i dont say this on opinions but facts.

  • @verycoollike paranormal activity movies are really awful, they try to build suspense to much which results in me being bored... and theres always a load of build up to nothing. Yawn!

  • @addz17 thats your opinion mate, last i heard and read, it had a room full of people in theater scared.

  • omg this video itself is creepy. I have chills all over my back lol. I can't wait to watch these movies on Halloween tomorrow. :D

  • holy crap. my video froze at 1:50

  • you...forgo...ju...on...

  • where is ju on really?

  • I didn't really find any of these particularly scary :/ They were creepy but, not really scary. Shutter scared me the most out of any asian horror film I think. Not sure.

  • @MrMissGlorious I agree, they don't look that scary to me. My favorite and in my opinion one of the scariest Japanese films is Kwaidan-a collection of four short creepy stories. An oldie but goodie that not too many people know about!

  • @audgeyp Yeah, I think I want to make my own top ten Asian horror list though, see if people disagree with my opinion or agree with it. I haven't heard of that one. Gonna have to check it out :)

  • ju on?

  • The last one kinda scared me. Appearance-wise anyway, just take a gun and shoot her, if your nerves dont cramp.

  • Without a doubt, independent films deliver and really make good films. Spain has Pan's Labyrinth and Korean films like The Red Shoes is pretty good while exposing human emotion, which American films lacks. Without a doubt Japan is the leader in scary films that really make you jump out of your seat

  • @MrMattis121 who's hot???

  • @deideiitachilover :Your mother

  • And now I can't get that woman out of my head... *shudder* damn slit mouth woman and her creepy ass face XD

  • Number one (slit mouthed women)...good. God. Her face. And it was only an effect and contacts! I'm going to have nightmares just at the picture XD Interesting list. I've watched Ring 0 to 3, Grudge 1 to Black and White as well as the American versions. I haven't seen too much foreign horror though I'd like to.

  • why is there always a white or pile Jap girl thats scary as fuk lol?

  • please write tem in desc

  • Alright that scared the shit out of me.

  • i am a 15 yr. old filipino..who loves to watch HORROR MOVIES..and japanese horror movies are really the best than any other movies .. i watched.. one of my fav. there are The ring and One missed call ..but the #1 listed on your video seems interesting to watch... so i better check it out.... i mean..NOW!!!!

  • The only movies on this list I've seen are "Infection" (which I thought was lame), and "Audition" (which I thought was awesome). I notice you have "Carved" as your #1 film here, which is interesting because while I haven't seen that one yet, it was directed by Koji Shiraishi, and I've seen three of his movies recently, all of which were excellent, particularly "Noroi: The Curse," and the ultra-esoteric, Lovecraftian film, "Occult." You should check those two out. "Shirome" is good, too.

  • lol xD w fidel castro ^^

  • 1:39 Um... I think I'll pass on 3D televisions.

  • thumbs up if you think that asians make the best horror movies

  • @JfbDrYTUlRr980 Thumbs up if you think that Americans rip off the best horror movies, lol.

  • @JfbDrYTUlRr980 Thumbs up if you think japanese make the best horror games.

(Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Sirene Blood Curse, Resident Evil)

  • @JfbDrYTUlRr980 Yeah asian movies are pretty damn twisted I don't know why we remake them here in the US because they kinda suck I think they make them so people don't have to read -_-

  • I actually watched Carved "The Slit Mouthed Woman" and it was a nice movie! I recommend you watch it! I have almost watched all of these movies and some of them arn't half bad! I also Recommend you watch "Infection" also [:

  • I am 100% American except I am not fat at all! lol. BUT, The Ring is probably my favorite horror film of all time along with The Shining! Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween and all those other movies but I've always been just terrified of The Ring and the creepy bone-chilling tape! Gives me the shivers just thinking about it. WATCH THE RING ON HALLOWEEN!

  • Theres a Femal Joker now :O Haaa jokes

  • FatalWorldz is right. Ju-on/Grudge should be on (and high up) any list of best Japanese horror flicks. Predictable american horror, be it remakes or 'originals,' sucks shit!

  • I'm starting to think that japanese horror filmmakers stole this "pale, dark long hair" thing from the ending of a movie called Sleepaway Camp. If anyone doesn't believe me, look it up.

  • IT IS Tales of Terror! Thank you!!!! I already found one of the episodes called 'The Promise'. I think it is the Tales Of Terror From Tokyo And All Over Japan: The Movie (2004). Cause I Googled & that one describes the women in the car episode 'Wisps of Smoke. The movie has 8 stories apparently. THANK YOU!!!!

  • @anakin1949 Thank you, I will look into Tales of Terror. I don't think they were shorter than 15 minutes, possibly as long as 20 - 30 minutes each. They were so good!

  • why is they a friday the 13th theme music on a top 10 japanese horror?

lol anyways cool video man got a film for me to watch tonight

  • Asian cliched, pathetic excuses for horror movies with pale girls with long dark hair over their faces are utter crap!!!! I have NOTHING against Asia, but their moronic, badly acted horrors SUCK ASS!!!!! AMERICAN REMAKES RUUUULEEE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @666cl53 no no no.... I should kill you for saying something like that!!!!

  • omg!! i saw one missed call in halloween with my best friend and we were scared all the night cuz our phones were ringing all the time (were our fathers XD)

    Lol

  • Ju-On should have made it on this list

  • Please help! Which is the one that has 3 short scary stories. One is about 3 women in a car stranded somewhere at night & being terrorized. One is about a guy that house-sits for his friends apartment and some evil girlfriend visits him. I think one is a girl being chased through some dorms or dark warehouse.

  • @KissofDawn2012 3 extremes maybe?

  • @anakin1949 Thank you, but I read the details for every story on Three & Three Extremes, but those are not the stories. The movie I saw was played on TV about 2-3 years ago, it may have had more than 3 stories, but I started watching during the story of the three women in the car, for some reason one at a time was disappearing. Like something in the forest was taking them one by one. I'm not sure if there were more stories before that.

  • @KissofDawn2012 if it was a short story (5 to ten minutes) it may be part of the "Tales of Terror" its kid of like the japanese twilight zone. What ever it is, it sounds interesting.

  • I've gotten into J-Horror lately. Funny cause I practically ignored it in the early 2000's

  • Noroi The Curse is the scariest because it seems like it really happened. or did it?

  • @filth69ify1 agree, this movie scared the crap out of me

  • @pedralicamosa i seriously could not sleep for a whole week. i just could not stop thinking about that movie and all the images and scenes of it, especially when the story connects and then you see the ending (i was shocked in paralysis and creeped out to death) and have a couple nightmares about it and yet, i still watch it lol. but thats how you know a horror movie is good, if it constantly haunts you giving you paranoia. thats also why its my favorite horror movie cuz no other movie did that.

  • @filth69ify1 Which movie are you talking about?

  • What about The Grudge and Dark Water?

  • I've saw a few of these, and man they scared the shit out of me. I've never been so scared since I was a child as when I watched Ringu. I was physically sick after watching Audition, although unbeknown to me I was in the early stages of pregnancy at the time, but i could never watch it again EVER. I'm going to try and get a hold of suicide club and one missed call, they look interesting. I actually enjoy being scared. its exhilarating.

  • whats the point in number 3!? do some research if your compiling a list! and also, onibaba should make it onto this list.

  • Audition is the worst horror movie ever

  • @AyaSan I suspect there'll be hell to pay, but can I ask why you said that? I find your opinion interesting.

  • @GamerWatcher Well, first of all, I expected a horror movie but it wasn't scary at all, not even a bit. Secondly, the whole action was in the last 10 minutes of the movie. And I nearly fell asleep three times while watching it. I have no idea why people say it's a scary movie. More like a psycho drama. A huge disappointment and a waste of time. Can't even compare to good scaries like One missed call, Ring or Grudge.

  • @AyaSan Oh, awright, then~! I subconsciously scratched my head of its label as horror; when it was simply psychological weirdness, tension, whatever fits your cup of tea. It was kinda interesting sometimes, though. The scene with the bagged "pet" was kinda cool. :] But aye, I agree with the good scaries part. xD

  • @GamerWatcher Well, it's good that you've watched it yourself :) you can't be too trustful of others opinions. It was definitely weird, I agree on that :) Enjoy your scary movies! :)

  • @AyaSan Ah, thanks~! I get scared fairly easily, but I still enjoy 'em somehow... Heh, some masochist, eh. Generally, I enjoy myself too much to bring myself to criticize, EXCEPT questionable intelligence in the movies, as that is just an excuse for horrible stuff to happen, lol.

  • @GamerWatcher true true :) I guess I am masochist too, since I also get scared easily but I still enjoy watching them

  • arigato ^.^

  • Top 10 "JAPANESE" Horror Movies? Oh no i think you mean: "Top 10 Horror Movies of all time"

  • audition not at number 1??!??

  • @komradhall Not really a horror movie, technically speaking.

  • @allanouche62110 its japanese :p

  • I'm going to go watch Suicide Club soon because it seems so interesting.

  • Suicide Club is the most fucked up movie from this video. It's an awesome horror/thriller movie but i really would advice you to think twice before watching it cuz it is pretty nasty in parts and the idea is fucked up.

  • @allanouche62110 no its not

  • Suicide Club was just messy..like really f-ed up messy.

  • What about the grudge?

  • I am so curious about the Voice... But where is Kairo, aka Pulse? It was scary without being gory, and that is pure genius. Very highly recommended.

  • 4:00 - It's Officer Cordell's missus!?! :)

    Cool Video!!!

  • @TheEyez187 It's been years since I watched Maniac Cop.

  • Suicide Club wasn't all that scary, just confusing as hell. Should've replaced it with Dark Water, Uzumaki or The Curse.

  • Audition was the SHIT... so creepy and confusing... but awesome!

  • Fuck this shit man. I recently had a craving to watch Japanese horror movies but after seeing pictures of the slit mouthed woman, I really don't want to now.

  • @alexllorrac Really? My other "head" would argues otherwise.

  • @brbn93 ewww

  • where is the grudge?!?!

  • Ju-On?!

  • yeah!!! i love horror

  • You need Ju-on for sure on there

  • Why isn't the Grudge (or Ju On), the most terrifying movie of all, not on this list?

  • When it comes to scaring us shitless, it amazes me that its almost always Japanese and maybe one or two Korean films

  • @seth5220 Spain has a few good horror films too, like The Orphanage or The Devil's Backbone...but yeh i agree Japan holds the crown of horror...

  • carved was pretty scary but i dont think that it deserves number 1

  • and 1 missed call scared the fuck out of me when i saw it i saw the 1st 2 i just have 2 see the 3rd 1

  • 1:24 WTF?! and im surprised juon the grudge isnt on here i heard that was scary and i saw the american version of the ring so whoever has seen it it looks like its the exact same thing is it? or is it different stupid question i know

  • @PeanutPanhead Yea its basiclly the same but with american actors instead of the japanese. Not the best when comparing the originals to the remakes. Oh and if you thought that pic was freaky watch the uncut version of dumplings :D.

  • @MisterPudd o ok and alright i will i love scary shit so ill definitely check it out :D :P

  • @PeanutPanhead Yes it's the same because it's a remake.

  • @SerenetyHolmes75 oooooh ok gotcha thats cool which 1 is better

  • @PeanutPanhead Unfortunately I couldn't watch the Japanese version. Therefore I can't say you which is better but i heard always that the orginal is better. I'd also like to see the original but I can't find it nowhere. >_<

  • @SerenetyHolmes75 o ok i thought u had seen both and that sux that u cant find it anywhere what about on here

  • @PeanutPanhead Okay I found it. I can post you the link if you want it.

  • @SerenetyHolmes75 o ok sure that would be cool ;D

  • I LOVED Dumplings (Three Extremes). I dont care how disgusting it is - I have watched it three times : D Its very well made with good actors, and the twisted storyline is kind of fascinating... o_0

  • @CallMeEuphoria Excuse me...Where did You see it?

(Just asking this if You're familiar with this HDplayer...) Is it viewable in Stagevu? I await Your answer.

  • @GrayWolfen1488 You mean dumplings or the movie three extremes? Dumplings can be watched her on youtube (I think). I havent used stagevu before, so I cant answer that question : p

  • Great list... awesome horror music too!

  • Fuuuuccck I got so scared :o just watching the pic's and listening to that scary music

  • @Gothic1Lolita Are you serious?
