I doubt there will be space battles in Spore, maybe that saving that feature along with underwater creatures, creatures that fly and so in expansions. I also wonder that if you, find a backwater, inhabitable moon and start terraforming it so life thrives, well can life evolve on that homemade planet without having your UFO bringing life to it by using comets? Last. I hope you could switch between the different game types. Like helping out cells and creatures at a colonized planet by playin them.
1. No info on space battles have been released, apart from fighting against other creature's UFO's on planets.
2. I think so, yes. Just like life evolves on your homeplanet, it can(or should) appear on terraformed planets. Of course it will take time.
3. You can only play with the creatures you have started(so it seems in the videos). You can of course help the creatures by making them your allies, and then donating them tools and other resources.
On one of the videos there was some sort of 'monolith' it was described as.
Supposedly, you could place this down next to a bunch of creatures and they would start worhsipping your species as well as developing faster as a race
1. uh, you can start wars in space and fight defences on citys and other UFO's, not sure if you can fight in-between though.
2. water stage will proberly be an expansion pack, the only reason it was removed is becasue iorning all the bugs out of it would delay the game even further. and people had been waiting for long enough.
3. i think there is a monoloth, yes.
4. You can glide in the game, hovering above ground and covering terration much faster, as well as having combat benifits.
the creature at 2:38 is probobly an 'epic'... a feature that increases the size of a normal creture in that planet by a significant amount. that creature attacks your creatures city in an attempt to make the stage a challenge
some people say this game is not violent but go to 2:28 there is a tribal creature throwing a spear at an enemy and the spear is stuck through its body :P

Its interesting of all the sciences that Will's mentioned in this video but he leaves out a most glaring omission here - Intelligent Design, which is the actual crux of this game.
'Not really.. think about it.. you don't start out complete. You slowly change throughout the game in oder to survive that evolution not Intelligent Design. Intelligent Design is that we are created, and we never change.
Evolution by means of Natural Selection isn't really what this game is about. You are choosing how your creature develops and what parts make it up. Also they happen all at once. Like instantly, 2 more arms and an extra eye. ID states that some things are just too complex to evolve naturally so they had to have some intelligent designer. Hense, the player.
It isn't a knock against the game because a true natural selection game wouldn't give the player any direct control and that would suck.
I agree about the changeability of your creature as it progresses through the game, but that still doesn't discount the "design" that you're putting into the creature.
Secondly, ID doesn't imply unchangeability/adaptability. List a source where you're getting that, and I'll consider your statement more than pure BS.
aww shutup you dont know how it got here either you werent here you just read stories about ID and you believe it ok. you have faith we are looking for proof
Your constantly making the creature evolve so that it can have better stats like speed, fighting etc. Intelligent design is like.. 'WHAM! heres a tiger."
'They can't there is no evidence for a myth.' In other words there is a half baked theory not a science theory, its funny that that they don't even understand what a science theory entails.

It's also interesting that ID claims to be science, but has yet to provide any evidence to try and support itself.

Uh, not really, ID is just like: WHAM, heres a fully developed tiger. Whilst this is evolving your creature over millions of years.
I belive in evolution, but i belive god made the big bang and set it all off.
harvmiester1 3 years ago 4
yeah I also think so

I believe in evolution too, but i dont think it was god who started it, what if this universe is a part in a multiverse?
