Anyone who cries "fake", obviously has no experience with a cello (either as a player or audience member). Thus, they have no credibility to their ridiculous rants.
Accept it people. There really are talented people in our world.
no i thought it was fake at first but i looked at minor details but i beleive u now
its very windy on the left & not the slightest rustle on the right side so i thought u filmed em seperately & sped the right side up, u know wut i mean
but looking closer i see ur pant leg blow at normal speed at the same time as the tree, & the clock breifly passes in front of u at 1 point. plus ur movements arent very jumpy
the way the clock is held makes the vid seem fake tho. its very disillusioning
cmon wot do u expect.half the ppl seem to try and figure out how i faked it rather than just listen and either enjoy it or not.i was hoping the clock would help but it seems to cause even more problems...
yeah but dont you find it annoying when people make clearly fake videos and desperately try to deffend it as real. i like trying to pick apart whether theyre real or not and then yelling ratial epithets at them if its fake.
but yeah the way the clock is being held is really fake looking, like what i did with windows media player when i was little.
you should redo the vid and obnoxiously duct-tape the clock to the bass
oh and one more thing.u did say u like the recording.if ur one of those failed musicians that had to go and work in a shop coz no one wanted to give them a living from their performances, that's fine.don't sit there and make up mad rubbish to make urself feel better.enjoy the damn recording go practice.if u can already play it,then put ur money wer ur mouthis, but dont bother tellin me bout it,im not interested.dont bother leaving any more comments,go do some practice instead
Just wondering... did you learn from the sheet music? If so, which edition? There's a passage in a different register than I thought it was in, and I'm wondering if different editors did different things with it!
Your fluidity of motion is inspiring. I've been getting flack for my tension.
hia.thanks for the nice comment.i did learn it from sheet music, though it was a long time ago and i really cant remember what edition it was.its a simple piece to memorise so ive never needed the sheet music again.there is a version in which the bit a 50 secs is played up and octave but my edition did not have that.if i remember correctly, you just play the repeat up and octave and start the last scale on the same E that i did.that's the only difference really
oh ye and as far as the tension thing goes, theres only one thing you can do:dont do it.the only advice i can give is to make sure you are holding the cello in the best possible position and make sure ur arms are never suspended or in an unnatural position.its something you always need to think about.there is no easy solution.hope this helps
hey, thanks for the comment.well slow practice seems to be the way forward.then once you get it as perfect as you can go slowly faster.the metronome is youre friend.its not the most interesting thing to practice but patience is you're virtue.good luck
Awesome !!! I'm going to see in a few years if I could play that :D

It's totally possible to play this piece at that speed on the cello. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be real. Good job!

yeah brilliant, and the shaking clock adds a very surreal atomosphere to yor video, it looks like a living dali painting.
