i am not afrade of anything, i played bioshock and watched my friend go through 20pairs of pants from dead space 2. but not one fright. way to easy ecpt on hard mode. but alas, i give up on scary movies and game.

@wilkimon Bioshock and Dead Space are not scary at all, indeed. After you've seen one monster jump at you you've seen them all. They are just shooters.

True horror is psychological (like Silent Hill 2 or Penumbra). Gore and monster are seldom scary after you've seen them, because it dismystifies them.

Well, Gamespot gave Skyward Sword a 7.5/10. For the longest time, that was the only score below 9 for SS. Gotta love those guys. Makes you wonder if they actually even like games at all

@Jbob98onroblox It isn't scary so much as creepy. It's brand of fear isn't cheap pop ups, it tries to fuck with your mind. It relies on atmosphere instead of monsters themselves.

One of my favorite point and clicks ever. The atmosphere is terrifying and beautiful, exploring the house is a ton of fun, and both Mr. Arthate and Jerry have brilliant voice actors.

The only thing I hated about this game is what you had to do was like completely random. There was no guidance on what you had to do next which was the main element of the game. But the story and writing of it is quite good.

I can see why it got a 3.9/10 really. Reminds me if the horrific Dark Seed game. The first person view also looks like a pain. Guess this is why the genre died out. I miss the days of good ol' Sierra point-and-click games.
