Baek and Hwoarang represent the two main "approaches" to TKD in real life. Baek is the more traditional and "old school" ITF. In real life some consider ITF to be a more realistic martial arts for sel defense. Hwoarang represents WTF Tae Kwon Do, which is the flashier, Olympic one that is more common nowadays.

You are wrong.

Baek = ITF. He has an ITF dobok. The tip of the WTF dobok's sleeves doesn't have strips and his kicks are pure ITF.

Hwoarang is supposed to be ITF (He was in Tekken 3,4,5) but in tekken 6, his motion capture is made by a WTF taekwondo fighter.

My mistake, Baek is officially Mun Duk Kwan Taekwondo wich is like a mix of Tang Soo Do, ITF and WTF taekwondo

@seolma You mean Moo Duk Kwan. But Moo Duk Kwan exists from way before ITF and WTF, so there are groups from Moo Duk Kwan who affiliate to either and others who belong to KTA exclusively.

Baek Doo San and Hwoarang have the exact same combat style except Baek always has that extra shall I say "Ooomph" to his attacks...If Baek and Hwoarang versed each other being controlled by equal players, Baek would kickass overall...
