  • Its definitely not one way

  • You crazy Australians had me going for a while! I also thought they were suicidally cutting the corner.

  • @geonerd alot of riders do that here.... does not matter because they do not ride for long. because they end up 6ft under and we call them dickheads....

  • Comment removed

  • da hat sich wohl im nachhinein jemand geärgert...

  • Nice one. I just earned my stripes a few days ago myself. Disregarded braking in my new tire and to a 90 degree at 40 mph. Luckily my bike is rhino lined so now body damage. Just the foot/brake pedal bracket snapped off. Easy weld and ride on.

  • Though people walk away from crashes like this you have to remember that a strain injury can still happen and you might not feel the pain for a couple of hours once the adrenaline wears off.

Strain Injury = torn ligament IIRC

  • I like how all three of them cut the corner on a blind curve

  • @tsmith3797

    correct side for Australia :)

  • @Rdodo67 silly americans :P thinking the world revolves around them. australians can crash too ;)

  • is the bike ok

  • first rider seemed to hang off more and keep his bike upright, second 2 were really banked over

  • He seemed of came in too hot for that turn. I'm not making light of it or anything, I was just looking closly at the footage and listening to the sounds of each bike. It would have been a great turn if he was able to make it happen. Hope he was ok and the bike was not too heavily damaged.

  • his lane was crappy notice the rider in front he started at the outside of the corner the guy who crashed did it just the other way around..

but we all make mistakes and learn, i crashed myself plenty of times on the road and the track..

  • Glad I read a few comments before posting! I thought these were the stupidest riders in the world............ Aye Mate! Let's go to "Down Under" where they DO ride on the other side!!! Hope the rider wasn't hurt and the bike had little damage! Try to keep it up next time!!!

  • at least he lowsided and appeared to be unharmed. If there is a such thing as a good wreck it is one you can walk away from : )

  • at least he didn't get hurt, tho he's prolly pissed about the bike damage

  • noob

  • He had to make a quick stop for juice.

  • Bit unlucky. at least he wasnt doing anything too stupid

  • Damn, I need a side fairing for my 89 zx-10 too

  • funny lol

  • Low siding is a bitch aint it

  • @TheHunterRavine betta than gettin a highside

  • nice one :) nice soft stop

  • second rider was really smooth!!

  • This was in america, they just reversed the film negative... xD

  • lucky camera crew

  • looked like he lost the front? v hard to recover!

  • bad things do happen to good people like the fuck head on the bike could of hit a car with a family in it so join a club go to the island where it safe for all

  • @bluepig426 Why do you watch these videos to lecture us with this self righteous attitude. Have you ever exceeded the speed limit? Do you always stop at stop signs? Have you ever had an accident? Have you ever driven with even a tiny bit of alcohol in your bloodstream. Do you always use your indicator when changing lanes and turning. Have you ever skidded because you made a mistake. If you answer no to all of these questions then grease your arse and slide into the next world. You are too good.

  • lots of people saying been there and done that, i havent and now ive just watched it i dont think i wanna do it either lol bye :o)

  • OhThor, I agree with you. This guy is so lucky he had a nice runoff there. He couldn't have crashed at a better place - unless it was perhaps at a track day!

  • yep done that one last summer on the cat and fiddel broke me thum and broke me R1 as well !

  • nice crash

  • Been there, done that mate. Keep at it ;)

  • 1st thought: is the bike ok?

  • All I can say is,that was an unfortunate spill.

  • the black spur or the reefton spur in victoria, australia.

they clearly come from the right side of the road and cross to the left in an attempt to hit the apex

  • ouchies!!!

  • Ah shit, hope the bike's not a write off. Yes brainiac, it's definately America. That's EXACTLY why they're riding on the left you tit.

  • The vid is not from the USA.

Maybe a name change from Brainiac83 to Dipshit83 is in order. As for the accident, Bad things happen to good people! Ride long enough and youu will find that out.

  • Maby when you upload one video to contribute to the comunity would be better than you making a rubbish account an bashing on normal people.

  • @Woofywoo2007 that is so fucking true man.

  • lol you're a dumb fuck. it's the spurs in AUSTRALIA

  • day-um!

  • how he did that i dont see the reason why he felt

  • front tyre was fucked BLD88

  • kuz he lost traction, theres only so far that you can lean on a bike, he leaned too far and the tire lost grip with the road.

  • should not have been running those slipstones oh i mean bridgestones!

  • Comments on this vid funny as!! Im the bloke on the gix 1st thru the corner. Matey who binned the 10 was about to head home because his front tyre was shot when someone told us a good mate had crashed on that exact corner,we went hammering back up to see what happened and unfortunately the 2 behind me had the red mist happening lol well....the rest is history....

  • what did he do wrong? how not to take a corner? looks like he was leaning fine but he got too low and lost his tires...

  • he didn't take that corner right....obviously.

  • youre an idiot...so basically when valentino rossi crashes in a race its because he took the corner wrong?? shit happens. maybe his tires were bald or not warm enough. you dont know.

  • crashing = not the "right" way to ride motorcycles. Even valentino knows that

  • ur head is obv too thick to understand. soo in this vid the 1st guy took the corner right because he didnt fall?

wrong! the 2 guys behind him were going faster and sometimes it's too much for your tires to handle on pavement

to defend yourself that this guy took the corner wrong...what did he do wrong?

  • dude you are an idiot. what did he do wrong? HE CRASHED! If he was going too fast and that was too much for his tires to handle, as you so blatantly put it, that is wrong. If he hit the apex of the corner with to much power on the throttle and lowsided from his bike, that is wrong.

Tell me then termite, what did he do right?

  • but u are saying accidents dont happen. there are a bunch of non driver-error problems that could have happened. he looked good to me.

  • Oh come on. Let's be real here. He made an error; hopefully he learned from it.

  • He got on the bike and rode it, thats what he did right. Who gives a fuck if he crashed, its a part of riding, now both of you stop arguing its pointless.

  • poor bike

  • its ok-shit happens...win some lose some.

just lucky there was no oncoming traffic

  • Know the Road, Know the corner.... and that idiot is damn LUCKY that he is still alive. Im not saying im a saint, cos i used to ride that road hard too, but i never pushed it that hard that i would ever go close to loosing the front. Big Egos and points to prove will get you killed, or worse, you will kill an innocent.. , few months back a dude and his pillon passenger (Wife) were killed by a guy who hit them head on very similar to the video. the guy that hit them has made full recovery :( sad

  • sorry for your fall over there; how much money did this slide cost the bike?

  • Hey I know that bend! Silly bugger. He was lucky... this time.

For those of you from the other side of the planet the Reefton & Black Spurs are some of the best motorcycling roads in Victoria, Australia.

  • thumbs up camera man.

  • Why do you crazies try to risk your lives and more importantly, the lives of unsuspecting drivers with these juvenile stunts?

Bike people don't seem to understand or care that cars are not expecting to meet a bike coming around a corner at 125 freakin' miles per hour!!

These are awesome machines. And I'm sure they require a lot of talent to drive. But do you see race car drivers doing burnouts and spins in the middle of the interstate? Use some common sense and take those things to the track.

  • You obviously haven't ridden the spur.

  • no offense, but get on a bike and then talk. Its fun to try out the tight twists and turns wherever we can. Its fun to see what your machine can do when you push it a little. Ive driven cars like this too before. No, Ive never wrecked before either. No accidents if youre thinking that too. Ive never ridden this corner or stretch of road, but it sure as hell looks like fun to those of us who arent wankers stuck in a cage!

  • ya know i consider a stunt something to where your showing off. not something that is just fun to do. "Bike people" understand "car people" far better then you think considering the fact most "car people" nearly run us "bike people" over every time they strap themselves to a piece of metal.

  • FUCK YA ! -.-*

  • fag... and that sucks

  • fag u suck.

  • Tell me this is a one way road.

There appears to be a sign facing the other direction.

A lot of this sort of thing goes on on Mullholland Hwy (near Malibu CA). There is a decreasing radius hairpin curve near the lookout where there is a guy that takes pics of the passing riders and other traffic. Lots of guys go down trying to look fast because they know they are being photographed and that they can buy the pics.

  • This is in Brittian or somthing because people are driving on the left side.

  • the road isn't a racetrack, then if you want to do these fucking acts you must go to drive to a racetrack and kill yourself alone, please. however the drop is the fact = Loser!

  • loser

  • Kinda funny that people bash rookies for screwing up, yet, don't have the balls to hop onto a bike and see what it takes to ride. I have not seen a single expeirenced rider bash a rookie for falling. Yet, non-riders do it all of the time. Grow some balls, asswipes.

  • I agree with your comments. Sure he is in the wrong for not observing speed restriction in that corner but at least he has the balls to give it his best, we only learn from mistakes and lucky for this guy he got away with it

  • u guys are fools. sorry but u are and im no cop on youtube either. if there were a vehicle on the other side, you would be dead. please take this shit to the track, please.

  • Breaking his own limits...

It will be better next time.

It's always okay as long as you get the chance for a second try.

So don't mess around too much.

  • Cold tires?

  • Front end gone..! GP style!

  • it happens to us all sooner or later, its part of what bikes are all about unfrtunately. I would imagine these were magazine guys posing for photos or something since they were all litre bikes all of the same generation of bikes all different brands

  • Too much bike ... not enough rider! What else can you expect?

  • At least he was wearing gear cuz if not he would've been all scraped up and looking like a pizza.

  • Notice the GSX-R1000 (K5 or K6) out in front? Just the way it should be :)

Look, we all make mistakes. Truth is, unless you know this rider, you are just speculating to his skill level. He crashed due to rider error. Why not just leave it at that?

Also, he should thank his lucky stars that there wasn't a cliff, guardrail, tree, oncoming car, as he slid across the road.

Riding with your buddies is fun, there is nothing to prove. If there is, take it to the track.

  • @OhThor thats why i hate trial riders on dirtbikes that claim they r they best and fuck up the trials if there so good come race with real riders they dont stand a chance

  • @OhThor

WOW, this was the most logical and morally correct comment on youtube!

    Kudos to you

  • @OhThor amen to that buddy. riding with friends shouldnt be about trying to see who's best ok we all have a laugh sayin it but hey.

  • More hero's!... Why ride like a fuckwitt on the street?, go to the track then see how good you look!... if a car was coming the other way you would have been fucked

  • glad it worked out ok in the end

  • did he mean to do that????????????????

  • thanx for crashing your bike for us

    do it again plz whahahahahahahha

  • nope he was not off the bike far enough the people on the side of the road probally spooked him... best saying in the world "You can look like a moto gp rider but when the hard parts touch, ITS GAME OVER"

  • man that guy had some serious lean angle on that bike! you can totally see his front tire give up and push out. unlike most of the crash videos here, this guy knows how to ride. tires were just done.

  • If he knew how to ride, he'd still own a complete bike, huh?

  • Even the best fall down sometimes. Even the wrong words seem so right.

  • Bigalinjapan. Even GP riders lowside (when the front tyre washes out) It does not make him a bad rider.

  • I know, however a GP rider is driving in an closed environment with special equipment (e.g. tires that are made for handling more than 45 deg lean angle). My critique is mainly about responsibility, which actualy goes hand in hand with driving skills.

  • No offence but that is not how your comment came across. Mitchelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres alow a lean angle just over 51 degrees. Mabe he had those. He was Riding NOT Driving!

  • This guy is full of shit.

Any of the sportbikes you saw in the video you are talking about, actually, let alone ANY sportbike, comes with tires that can easily handle more than a 45 degree lean angle)

ANY Modern Sport bike coming off the showroom will come with a tire that you could use on a race track. Yes, it is not a race slick, but they are getting pretty damn close.

Secondly, responsibility doesn't have anything to do with driving skills. It has to do with driving safety.

  • what do you mean 'the guy knows how to ride'??!!

because he leant over TOO much and had a spill??? how is THAT good machine control???

thats like saying he braked TOO hard and locked the front wheel!

don't blame the tyres mate, it was rider error full stop- others didnt slip so i think you can rule out poor road surface or diesel spillage..

a good rider leans the bike yes. a good rider doesn't lean the bike too much so that grip gives way- not on road anyway

hope he & bike are better

  • To become a good rider you must make mistakes or how else do you learn, from reading from a book about how far to lean, when to apply the gas!!! NO.Everyone makes mistakes from time to time. Mabe the last time this guy fell was 10 years ago. Who knows?. Nobody is perfect. In fact that was Wayne Rainey's nickname a multiple world champion from the 80's. On one of his VERY rear off's. He broke his back and is now disabled from the waist down. He was a FANTASTIC RIDER and he got it wrong.

  • i think it wold run it was not that bad of a spill i drop my R1 way hard knock me out for for a while but the bike did start hit a deer at about 90 last summer i got it all fixed tho had to fix the tank and get some new plastic paint did not put the stickers back on it i did air brush some flames and skulls on it o yea and one broken leg lol hard to pick up your bike with a broke leg but im good now and the bike too haha

  • hahahahaha he cheated in the corner and still crashed!

  • it all came down to the tires on that one

  • tooooo baddd the guy whos so good could nt put some rubber on that bike it only takes 2 hrs but then he wouldnt have an excuse right

  • that white paint will get ya

  • FUNNY..NOW PICK IT UP AN DO IT RIGHT

  • if I was ridin' just 20 mph entering that curve, I would still beat the last biker after the dump; since I will still be riding around the curve while this rider was picking up the bike, and if the bike still runs after the dump.

  • that crash could have been a lot worse

  • lucky there was no incoming.

  • hey i no where that corner is its prity much near th end of the spur

  • race tracks are for? public roads are for? fooking lucky yur not road kill ya bikes fooked now 1 less fookin idiot of the road

  • say fook one more time please. it's such a badass word... :I

  • Whoever was sayin fook has seen too many skinhead movies and needs to let their internet self grow up

  • It's fuckwits like these who kill someone innocent riding the other way!

  • Spot on

  • i caint wait till i turn 16 so i can go there i wish dirt bikes were street legal or i would be there right now :(

  • retard!

  • how am i a retard

  • Never heard aboute supemoto-bikes whit dirt-deck?

  • ya i know about supermoto bikes i just me regular plain old dirt bikes like i have a ktm sx125 i wish that was street leagal

  • lmao that was sooooo funny

  • Geez that Guy on the R1 looks like he has Tits!!! You boys are so dangerous sometimes!!

    I love it!!

  • he was really lucky. didnt fall far, no car coming the other way, no trees and no cliffside on that corner for the bike to fly off!! he better have brought a lotto ticket :)

  • Not sure if the rider of the R1 was a guy?? She looked like she had tits...She certainly rode like she did.

  • well that guy on the red r1 really looks like he knows what he is doing! i think it is a case of that newbie on the ZX10 trying to keep up and riding beyond his limits...

  • see that's what happen's when you dont ride a honda.

  • Take your penis extensions to a racetrack, the road is no place for newbies who cant ride and put other lives in danger

  • hapenns all the time, only pussys that spend all theyr time in front of the pc are free from that kind of shit lolol

  • What happened actually, looks as if he lost the front end. tires maybe?

  • shit happens :(

  • i hope that dicklessadrian can come up to the spur and show me how to dragg knee's around blind corner's on his pooh fitty GP special!!! STFU dickhead and stop talking shit you pleb fcuk!!!

  • Clearly CM, this guy knows how to ride a motorbike, yeah by sliding off it, great way to ride a bike. Here's a definition of a blind corner for your low IQ, one that you can't see around, self evident really.

  • So do you know the road or are you just a mouthpiece???? I know that corner double apex!!! and the dude who was riding that bike would shit over most of the people on here to bad the front end slid out from under him with shit tyres!!!

  • The dickhead shouldn't be taking blind corners like that for 1, and for 2, if he is going to take blind corners like that, then learn how to drop your knee on the ground.

  • nicholasadrian.. have you ever ridden a motorbike or are you still on the tricycle your mum gave you? blind corner? get some balls.. oh yeah.. tell rossi he should drop his knee too.. moron

  • Nicholasadrian.. how about you come down to the Spur and show us all how to ride? and about the IQ thing.. obviously your's isnt much better posting comments like that.

Obviously you dont ride much or you would know that everyone comes off at some stage.

  • need frame sliders on the 10 i found out

  • was this at the gap?

  • wrong country

  • Good call. I shoulda known by the fact they are on the wrong side of the road but if you've been to Deal's Gap you know that happens more than it should. User registered in Australia though, I'm retarded.

  • Bent rear subframe, dinged tank, scratches on frame maaabey but usually they don't touch to bad. Fairings all gravel rashed and cracked on the side hitting the bank i'd say.

    10's don't crash well eh...

I been fixing an 06 up that got written off by someone else...

  • oh shiiii*** that feels bad... could so the bike was leaned way over compared to the gixxer

  • poor bloke :(

    that won't be a cheap fix :\

  • Holy sh*T! I pity the bike...

  • DAM that sucks!

  • That sucks. :(
