Yes but we are Caucasian by race. What u mean by north Azerbaijan? Yeah there are South-Azerbaijan that are in North of Iran but they are very different from us.
My freind Azeri, Armenia and Ossetians dont speak a Caucasus languague but Azeris, Armenians and Ossetians are Caucasian by race cause we live in Caucasus.
