  • @lucymydog1995 Balrog's turn around punch has 10 levels of charge. The longer you hold it the more damage it does (the more unsafe it is as well). It's a high risk/high reward

  • @fernando992751714 as long as you keep the buttons pushed down for turn punch attack, it levels up, and when it reaches lvl 10, which takes a long time as you can see in the video, it deals over 500 damage =)

  • @guilhermecosta27 thing is, yes it is VERY powerful just for a special attack, BUT its almost impossible to land at full power. oh and no, no other special move, not even most of the ultra's and super's can deal damage as much as this one does

  • @IVISMiLESIVI Poongko used Balrog's Turn Around Punch, not his Dash punch. Balrog's Turn Around Punch (3P or 3K) El Fuerte's Quesadilla Bomb (hold 1 or 2 Kicks), and Cody's Zonk Knuckle (hold 1 or 2 punches) are all charged by holding down buttons, no direction needed. so even if you get tossed or move you still keep your charge.

  • @IVISMiLESIVI The charge stays because he's only holding the 3 punch/kick buttons. You can do anything you want and the charge stays as long as you don't let go.

    Balrog's turn around punch if charged for 60 seconds does that much damage, you then cancel it into his ultra and it's a one hit KO

    Try it: go in practice mode, hold 3x punch for 60 seconds then let go and see what happens

    It also got boosted here for being a counter

  • @dean116 it is balrogs turn around punch (when held for 60 seconds its the "Final Punch" if you listen to balrog he yells out FINAL!) and the punch will lay a lot of damage....also it was a counter-hit so it does even more damage

  • @blkoh it could but if you watch any tournament balrog they dont hold tap for that long cause it limits you to one set of attacks. if you hold punches then you can only kick, if you hold kicks you can only punch. if you hold tap, you can tech throws or anything

  • Man, this is what I HATE about SSIV. The large stages made it possible for 'Rog to just turtle at one end and face very little pressure. If this was HDR he'd be facing nonstop Yoga Flames and pokes. Still a decent game but some parts of the engine suck.

  • Total damage for counterhit TAP+Super is 998. Dhalsim is a 900 health character so he can't survive it. But 1000+ health characters like Ryu, Sagat, or Zangief will. Although 1000 health characters like Ryu, Guile, or Bison can easily be chipped to death afterward.

  • @streetman88 Turn punch is charged by holding all three punches. It is separate from the charge used for things like headbutt and super.

  • Got nothing to do with focus. Rog was baiting out standing fierce sim always threw out after yoga fire. Got at the right distance so he let go and sims standing fierce got countered. Nothing wrong with catching someone on autopilot.

  • @Snakebite105 did you ever notice that sometimes when he does a turnpunch he says "ONE" or "TWO"... it goes up to "EIGHT" then "FINAL" i believe. Also, this shit NEVER gets used in real competitive play, dude. It's such a fluke accident when it accidentally lands, and you have to hold down all 3 kicks or punches for like 60 seconds. That means if you're holding down kicks, you cant sweep, and if your holding down punches you cant even jab or headbutt. its a crazy handicap to even try to go for

  • @neckofthewood its been in the game since Sf4. Just handicap yourself by not using kicks and charge that TAP for a good 20 seconds - this is the result. if you have super you can ko akuma and dhalsim all in 1 combo, if they are dumb

    if you can charge turn punch more than 56s, it's damage will be 560.

    turn punch (560) + super combo = too huge damage to alive

But it's rare to give Balrog this kidn of chance, sim was so focused on his keep away he did'nt anticipate the suprise attack. Heh I should use this on turtlers.

  • @neckofthewood Akuma, Dhalsim and C. Viper have some of the worse defense in this game. So they go down rather quickly.
