  • OH I AM SOOOOO GOING TO DO THIS =0!!!! NICE RING BTW =)!!

  • Omg I'm so scared! I'm about to acid wash my jeans aahhh! Keep your fingers crossed for me! >.<

  • 3:27 nice feet

  • The way u styled it in the end is soo fabulous... U know how to style, and the jacket came out cute

  • sexy feet

  • btw , thickness is EVERYTHING boo boo

  • Thanks i followed this video and my jacket is soo cutee.

  • finally a good tutorial.

  • Well done!! It's look really cute on you and I'm petite also so next time I'm at salvation army I don't have to jump right into adult sizing.

  • Yes I washed it with detergent on a regular wash cycle. The reason for washing it is to remove excess bleach from the fabric so that's why you detergent.

  • when you wash it, do you just wash it with water or do you use detergent also ?

  • did you use any detergent when you washed it or was it with just water ?

  • you are too cute! what size are you?

  • @chocosoy5 I would like to know also @spelman87 please answer!

  • your so awesome! thank you so much! xx

  • I tried but it turned orange instead. Any help for this?

  • @blurhxxdreamer Hmmm...I'm not sure what the remedy for that is. I've never heard of that happening. Was the item you bleached blue denim or some other color?

  • @spelman87 When your acid washing make sure the denim is damp with warm water before you acid wash. then when you acid wash it use half wam water half bleach. then after its bleach put it on a hot wash cycle.

  • @spelman87 Yep, its in blue denim. I'm guessing that the bleach I use for isn't strong enough but it actually turns out nicer than what I imagine. Thanks anyway :)

  • Looks awesome! :D

  • could you use splashless bleach or is there no difference to it?

  • @xybird28 I've seen videos done with splashless bleach so I suppose as long as it's really concentrated it would work fine.

  • i did everything exactly like you & nothing happened :(

  • @rickyranid It's likely because the bleach you used wasn't strong enough. I initially tried to use a bleach cleaner but the product is too diluted to work. It's needs to be STRAIGHT bleach. Like pure Clorox! Try that and see what happens.

  • @spelman87 youre right, i wasnt using just bleach, i did it & it worked, thank you :)

  • Comment removed

  • @rickyranid maybe it wasn't enough sun . ?

    Thanks So Much !

  • You're gorgeous! omg

  • gunna try this but cut off the sleeve for a vest!

  • What Type of bleach did you use ?

  • @OmgItsDarria Just regular Clorox bleach

  • i loved it!

  • you have suuuch nice legs !

  • U did such a badass job!! Thanks for the tutorial!! I'm in love with the vintage 80's type of look! So I know it's expensive when u buy clothes when it's already acid ash!! So man I thank u for ur tutorial came out sick! I love it

  • if you damped the WHOLE jacket instead of most parts, would the acid wash effect not show up right?

  • @nicolleesaysxo Well wetting it helps the bleach to soak into the fabric better. The dry areas will bleach but just not as much. That's what helps to create the acid washed look. So by wetting the whole thing, you risk a more uniform bleach instead of an acid sort of look. But you never know...it could also come out really cool!

  • @DanielaMarieAlba It's a Salvation Army in Atlanta on....ummm...Marietta St. Each day is a different color. That day just happened to be yellow and I found a jacket with a yellow sticker.

  • it looks amazing!! My favorite acid wash final product yet!

  • Amazing ! What did you exactly put in the spray can ?

  • @MissForgy It's just bleach. Not diluted.

  • @spelman87 Okay thanks a lot !

I tried to bleach mine but I think I diluted it too much, the result was like, well non-existent. I'll try again, thank you !

  • you rock !!

  • wow great job for first timers looks dope !! :)

  • Amaaaazziiing!! Great job! Just one question... did the color lighten up even more after u put in the dryer???

  • @CarolinnaO Yeah it did. The shade you see at first is simply because the material is wet. But once it dries it's lighter.

  • i lovve you!

  • Wow. You inspire me to stop being lazy and try to make something. Earrings, jacket... SOMETHING! LoL. I love it! Great job! -Alex-

  • girl, you'd look good in anything...

  • for it to be a first time try, it came out really good!
