This is a fixed game. I played white against fritz11 until 4.f3!! then I allowed fritz11 to move white too then what a shock!! they just memorized what the fritz moved for white and for black!!!! you may try it with your fritz11. GM of this generation just rely on the computer. tsk3!!
Wow! That's quite disturbing actually. It's no secret that GM's use this software to "prepare" for an event but I guess the big question is to define "prepare". If memorization is all it takes, let's all be one! lol
@leevag27 not necessary because f3 can be consider has a line of the nimzo-indian so u cna try again and u will see perhaps frizt will play for white Qc2 or e3
wow, that was a good fighting game. I hope the next game will be as good. I thought h5 was a great move by Krammnik. Good quality play by both players overall. Thanks for posting.
cool im a fan of your vids and if you want to add me as a contact on chesscube my handle is chessnerdnick, dont have to add me though i just like to see you in action.
i think Bc2 was played more with the idea of keeping the black rook out of the d1 square, where it would have entered the heart of the white position.
nice video as always though.
better game then game 1 I think, but it's very sad that they drew this position.

on the 00.50 mins, wouldn't the move Qa4+ win the bishop.

@AKsharkfin Nc6 blocks the check while defending the bishop

these long games are too complicated. i like the blitz games because i can understand it a bit.
OceanderTethyseus 2 years ago
long game are less hard because you take time to look at the game and you dont fall in trap like fork and orther

instead of Bb1, what Bc2? and not blockign in rook...by the w ay i didnt look over the position very long, just was curios.

I think white was inteeding Rook to c1 if black took the pawn on c4 giving counter play

Hi and thanks for all the videos
where can I watch them live on the internet ?
troster 3 years ago
bigred575,
simply everyone agreed that 21.. Ndf6 seems like a mistake. but actually the GMs think that 21.. Nge5 would've been better than 21.. Nde5.
tankto0n 3 years ago
Why not c4 after blacks f7-f5? If Qh4+, g3, Qxc4,e2-e4, Qc3+, Bd2 winning a piece.
Actionlover1 3 years ago
@ Actionlover1
then black would play 12.. Qe5, pinning that e4 pawn. then maybe 13. Bd3 and either 13.. Nc3 or Nf6.
it wouldnt be winning a piece

After the Queen exchange, Black plays Ng4, instead, what was wrong with N/Bxc4? Can white regain the pawn?
alexholowczak 3 years ago
Good question - I believe White's best is to then play Bxc4 followed by Rfc1, trying to regain the pawn - here is a brief Rybka line:
Rybka 2.3 mp 32-bit - ,J, Blitz:5'
2kr3r/p2n2pp/b1p1p3/8/1Bn1P3/P2B1N2/5KPP/R6R w - - 0 1
Analysis by Rybka 2.3 mp 32-bit :
1. +/- (0.96): 21.Bxc4 Bxc4 22.Rhc1 Bb5 23.a4 Ba6 24.Rxc6+ Kb7 25.Rxe6 Rhe8 26.Rxe8 Rxe8 27.Rd1 Nb6
kingscrusher 3 years ago
If 20... Bxc4, why shouldnt White simply play 21. Kxe3 ?
And 20... Nxc4 encourages White to play Nd4, where he gets his pawn back.
tankto0n 3 years ago
On 20..Nxc4 I don't think Nd4 is good there - black has Nd7-e5 with pressure.
2kr3r/p5pp/b1p1p3/4n3/1BnNP3/P2B4/5KPP/R6R w - - 0 22
I think Bxc4 gives White advantage though on black playing 20..Nxc4
kingscrusher 3 years ago
yea, like i said:
20.. Nxc4 21. Bxc4 Bxc4 22. Rc1 Bb5 (and finally) 23. Nd4 Kb7 (seems like the only move) 24. Nxe6 Re8 25. Rhd1, and White seems quite a bit better.
tankto0n 3 years ago
If Nd4 then c5.
xXxWilliExXx 3 years ago
c5 would be simply loosing another pawn, cause c5 is pinned.
