All I'm gonna say is, LOVE my Rages. I use the 3-blade Rage that I've taken over 50 deer with and have only lost one. And that was due to coyotes getting to it before I could. Only had two that were not total pass-thru's because of shots placed directly through both shoulders at ranges of 62 and 58 yrds. GREAT heads!!! Just replace the O-ring and keep sharp blades on them.
yeah was outside today in the yard practicing with the practice rage points, if the rubber band at the neck comes off, it flies like crap. other than that it really is field point accurate.
only problem i have with rage is that when u got the arrow noched and your walking thru the woods and a twig hits one of the blades and they come undone, and if u dont notice it, u will go to shoot a deer and the arrow flys, it wont be accurate.. otherwise they r awsome!.
Here's the deal with RAGE Broadheads. They work plain and simple. If you keep your equipment in good working order they will never and unmask NEVER fail on you. For those of you who say they only work once... Well they make this stuff called water... Use it!!! Rinse off your broadhead and replace the blades. It will work again and again and again. I've taken 6 deer this season already with the same broadhead just replacing the blades. It's a great head!!!
@roy12376 Replace your o-rings after every impact, and make sure they are locked shut, I have Never had one open prematurely for me. I think that the people who write alot of those reviews dont check their arrows before they knock them, and dont maintain their equipment. I have used the same broadhead on a few deer, As long as you resharpen and replace that o-ring you are good. Heck you can even rotate that o ring a bit to fix the problem :)
What "moving parts to fail" are you talking about?? The only "moving part" is the slip cam. It cannot fail. If you do not take care and prepare your head before you let it fly it may open prematurely but if you pay attention these heads will work beautifully for you. Don't hate the rage.
Hi, yes all arrows being shot are the Redhead arrows. 2" blazer vanes, although the crested arrow was fletched by me. The green/white are factory fletched. My hunting arrows this year are the Redheads that have been stripped, crested and then refletched with three white blazer vanes.
do you think the carbon express terminataor lite arrows are good? myn were also like 53 dollars. but an arrows an arrow right. also do your arrows have like little ridges along the surface of the feathers?
Awesome video man thanks!

Rage broadheads actually open in flight before they hit the deer(or whatever you are shooting at) if you read on the bass pro shops website

Rage do not open before they hit the target. Go watch "rage broadheads in slow motion."

rage broadheads suck after they have been opened once. i know for a FACT

I like the video and test, but I'm not sure what you are trying to prove? Any good quality fixed blade will hit the same POI as field points also.

To risky with only 2 blades, the rotation of the arrow becomes to important to leave up to chance.

That's a nice group. I would imagine the rage practice tip is deadlier than the bladed one. Fewer moving parts to fail.
GhettoStank 2 years ago
Nope. That crap. I shot a squirrel with my practice tip right in the neck and it didn't even die.
