Come on guys - It is not too hard to make a paint marks on couple of rocks out there and compare them over time. I trust that our weather services do it regularly as part of the business, and they wouldn't mind sharing and comparing data with local groups or individuals. Pumping Superior out would be plain stupid and greedy (not so uncommon), and once knowing these facts for sure we should take an organized action in Ottawa. Come on - mark some rocks, check and confirm - let's build the case!

Do you even live in Marathon or are you visiting for the first time in many years because of a school reunion or something. 07 was nothing compared to 1996 now that was the year we got the big snow fall. The beach level changes every year. They have been saying the lake is down 4 feet for the last 25 years. Who the hell would want to drink the water out of this lake anyway with all the shit and chemicals that have been pumped into it since the paper mills and steel mills and what ever started in the north. The goverment is allowing the water to be pumped out to send to China, and Nestle's bottling company, is also secretly pumping up stream. It's drying up the lakes. People really need to be investigating this.

I live in Marathon Ontario and I think that we need to sit back and realise that this is starting to become a major problem, the difference in water from 10 years ago is amazing.....
