  • That was really intresting it was so sad to hear that her son did commit suicide something deep inside must of been hurting him

  • This is heartbreaking! Ugh! And like a punch in the gut. I've suspected a certain degree of bi-polarism in my 10 yr. old, who has mild autism. Wow, something else to worry about and to watch out for. But forewarned is forearmed, so thank you for posting this. I'll be keeping an even closer eye on him.

  • The remarkable thing about this story is his early preoccupation with suicide, and his inexorable path to it. And the parents did everything in their power! This is a staggeringly tragic story of childhood mental illness, and our powerlessness over it.

  • There are tests you can get from the natural doctors now. It test the hormone levels and neurotransmitters. I plan to do this with my son before too long to make sure his levels are healthy. It cost about 250.

  • Thanks that is very interesting, according to the NAS in the UK 40% of kids on the Spectrum also have Bipolar to some degree.

  • I agree that there is a close relationship between the two. Someday we will understand it.
