•Called for unity against opportunists.

•The importance of regaining public trust.

•People should be able to question government objectively.

•Objections should be carried out lawfully in order to stop giving arm forces excuses to imprison/ injure people .

•Called for letting prisoners out.

I never thought I would say this but Mr. Hashemi showed political wisdom here through this emotional speech.

You know when the regime banned outside travel on Iranians for 4 years (79-83) it was Rafsanjani who came and said "Let the rich, pro-shah & monafeghin go away" with this excuse he pushed the government to open the borders.

He is a charlatan but in rare occasions he took people's side to allow more freedom.

I understand what u mean, but if people somehow assure them that we are not as childish as 30 years ago, and we wouldnt behave them the way Khalkhali and some stupid revolutinaries behaved Hoveida and others, they would join us in thousands and thousands. there are many of them who are tired of this regime as we are, but are scared of people.
