i dont think criminals are dumb enough (unlike the government it seems) to buy new handgun models or even automatics for that matter if this bill goes into effect. in fact you can see they have nothing to prove the validity of microstamping through facts and numbers, only emotional testimony of a grieving widow....what do they think we're all stupid? please get some brains then try to govern a people smarter than you.

This is stupid. Fight Gun Control because all that does is limits the law abiding citizen. Criminals will always get their guns somewhere else no matter what the law says. This increases criminal activity because criminals can run around with the mentality that their victim is unarmed.

Oh this is BS. They caught the ones responsible in a couple days time. Not with micro-bullshit, but with surveillance footage, chicken grease fingerprints, the boosted car which the fingerprints were found in, tips from the public, and good old fashioned police work. Even if we had microstamping back then, it would'nt help track down the CRIMINALS. Shame bloomberg and company is using this officer and his poor mother to further his agenda!
