  • 4.24to 4.38 it's all said...

  • Fuckin' Sexiest Walkin' 2:34 - 2:40 ?!?!?!

  • It´s been 19 years since Freddie died today :-( Thanks so much not only for the evergreens, but also for sublime live performances like this one. Play your songs in heaven, Fred!

  • A little Freddie Birthday Action! Happy Birthday to the King of Queen! LOVE YOU FREDDIE!

  • Love it

  • That´s way better than the studio version... great!

  • Ahhh, the sound of the eighties...

  • Sounds way better live..

  • The finest live performance I know., apart from Queen at Live Aid, of course...

The Bowl is in Milton Keynes, UK - not in Montreal! But buy the DVD if you can get it. The greatest Queen concert I know, and believe me, I know lots of them or at least all those that were recorded (with Freddie, not today´s crap). Listen to Roger and Freddie singing and complementing each other... pure genius! Unfortunately I´m too young to have seen them play live.

  • i love this version¡¡¡

  • Queen actually manages to make the song better live than in record. But the record was pretty good too.

  • @TGBug ....I love Everything Queen does live better! After all, Freddie is the very best showman of all time!!

Happy Birthday, Freddie.....my love, my heart, my life!

  • These high Tenor notes.... WOW!

  • Freddie is a GOD who walked among men.

He could literally drop a deuce right on stage and it would be the most classy, talented and brilliant thing you would ever see.

  • They sound so good and this is 1982, about 27 years ago. Today the bands use every technical equipments and never sound so good... you must know. Queen used a synthesizer the first time 2 years before on "The Game"-Album.

  • Freddie Mercury.....O melhor vocal do mundo sem duvida.......King Mercury

  • Hot space was under rated....Awesome!!

  • Queen Live at the Bowl is my favorite concert featuring this excellent band. Wembley is a great concert, but it can't compare to this one.

  • Freddie was a perfect man,a perfect singer and frontman and a perfect pianist.

I WANT TO BE LIKE HIM!

    I still love you Freddie.

  • He's wearing such an awesome jacket.

  • I love when Brian does that little riff at :39!

    This song is awesome live!

  • I find John deacon to be underated bass player ,but i know he so good ,i remember being inspired to pick the bass guitar because of his bass movements

  • *rewatches*

    "Queen on Fire"

    *agrees*

  • Queen on Fire was a compliment you retards. Stop using the thumbs feature if you can't use it properly.

  • Some users should be BANNED from using the thumbs feature. LMFAO!!

  • a ball hit john at 0:41-42

they properly want him dance more than he allready does :P

    Kick ass

  • You can see how he avoids it with a cool move. That is what years of gigs gives you :D

  • Roger has a great drum power on this song Queen ++++++++++

  • retard this song is sweet.

  • I'l have to dissaree with you, i think its a great song. This live performence sounds better than the actual album track.

  • I agree.

An example of a live song being better than the recorded version.

  • yeahh

queen en vivo es el mejor

  • ???

  • freddie has a perfect beautiful body.

  • dunt dant dunt dunt dat dunt da dant dunt dunt dunt dunt great beat

  • Then go someplace else to play.

  • "Action action, give it to me right now". Great beat to this song and as always..another great performance by Freddie!

  • This song cured my fever :D

  • this song has a cool rhythem

    Queen rules!!!!

  • 3:27 listen to the screams when he takes off the jacket...

    3:42 incoming bra lol! : )

  • to freddiemercury4ever...action, action, take it off Freddie, aaaahhhhhhh, yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

  • lmao

  • i agree harrisfan010. this version pisses all over the album version. i reckon rogers vocals are much stronger and in a better style than on the album and it generally rocks more.

  • the keyboard solo is 10x better though, sound wise

  • I agree with that ShinraDream. Everything in this performance is beter than the album version. Great keyboard work.

  • its funny. the entire Hot Space album was terrible in studio, but live it's awesome! backchat, this, althoguht Put out the fire is an awesome song

  • Production changes everything. Hot Space had a very 'hi-tech' production that doesn't fit Queen's music at all. But the stage was their real place - I LOVE Queen live, especially the early tours.

  • Guess you're right, this live performance got the 'Queen-sound' which we all love so much...

    And missed on Hot Space!

    Just amazing.

  • Terrible? Mmhh. It's an amazing record, great compositions and great production. Not everything is Rock & Roll in popular music.

  • Is Live At the Bowl your fav DVD then? Id Say Wembley at the minute, but it does change evry now and then :D

  • Hmmm, I don't like Wembley, Freddie's voice is too low at that concert, and the concert is more a Greatest Hits one.

  • I don't know what's better it's either this or Montreal 1981 or from unofficially released shows 1977 Houston or Earls Court 1977.

  • For atmosphere, it doesnt getter any better than this. The crowd in Montreal were useless, but Fred's voice was in peak form.

  • The European crowds reacted differently to Queen than the US and Canadian crowds. The crowd on the new mix of Queen Rock Montreal (especially the 20CD version) was more alive than the original mix Queen's 80s engineer Mack had to do for Saul Swimmer when Queen Rock Montreal came out as We Will Rock You. I thank the good Lord that Brian May and Roger Taylor re-acquired the rights to Montreal 1981 and with a wave of magic wand removed the overdubs and revealed a more energetic crowd.

  • Actualy....... Ifd U look closer its a Tennis Ball that sum1 lobs at John, but he dances out of the way :D

  • lol ya i luv how he stares at it when it passes by XD

  • LOL He just looks at it as he moves outta the way LOL, I wandered wat ever happened to it

  • john probley now playing tennis with it

  • Yeh LOL, Thats wat he's doing in his retirement probably :D LOL

  • :P i got the dvd everytime is ee it i crack up just how john look at it , kinda like "hmmm i am taking that one home ^^"

  • Who miss John???

    I'am!!!

The best bassman on the world!!!

  • Points of view...for my, John rules...

  • Exactly what i thought.

  • At 0:40 someone in the crowd throws a banana which just misses Freddie and almost hits John.

  • wtf!! who the hell would try and throw a banana at freddie!?!

  • This wooooorld is uuuuusing me

    Great Hot Space song.

  • I always preffred the way the hot space songs sounded live, alot more rock, gritty and energetic, on the album they are ok but stale compared to how good they performt he songs live

  • la voz de freddie estaba en ese momento genial¡¡¡los temas de hot space en vivo suenan excelente¡¡¡gran perfomance del maestro

  • freddie is so awesome in this show!

  • he`s awesome and the greatest singer for ever!

  • ohhh freddie the legend never die!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song! Action freddy says great !!

  • What a LOOKER you are, Freddie!

  • lo mejor de Hot Space en version en vivo!!!

  • th best song

  • this song is... amazing!

  • Telecaster o Red Special???....

    Cual prefieres???...

  • jhon brich Red Special replica :)

  • Thanks man!!!

  • hes using his backup redspecial in this song the proper redspecial was having technical issues at this concert so Brian had to keep switching

  • Thanks man!!!

  • yu it played up when he was doing his solo

  • it was playing him up for the first half of the concert the pickups kept slipping back to their default phase settings so he was on the backup for awhile

  • great live version of very good taylor song from a shit album but superb concert

  • Well sir, you're half right, right about the part about it being a very good Roger Taylor song, that is.

  • Dude, it's Freddie Mercury's voice!! Think about what you're saying!!

  • HIs voice makes everything sound great.

  • yeah, it definately sounded better live. but it was still a good album.

  • the best part is: "...that keeps on pumpin like a JUKEBOX PLAY`N..."

especialy on the cd version at hot space...

  • i love this song!!!

    oh my god!

  • God I love this song live - it's so catchy -you have to sing it out loud - perfect!!

  • queen was always awesome. They developed their sound.70's,80's or 90's-Queen was always the best!

  • Freddie is such an amazing man,

only the good die young ;<

  • I Love Rogers Backing Vocals, & brians Little Bit & 00:38

    Thanks!

  • On an interview Freddie says they're always tryin new stuff, and it's important to keep with the times I guess. They were voted best band of the 80's. Apparently their weakest album was Hot Space, which was released around the time of this tour.

  • guys this is second rate queen...was at this gig at the bowl..saw them also at earls court in 77..remember the earls court gig being much better songs...the first three albums.. had them all by 1975...were great.. among the best rock albums of there day up there with sabbath and zep ect much better when they were a kick ass rock band... white queen/prophet song..liar.ect compare those great songs to any of th later stuff..

  • I wouldn`t go that far. While my fav album is Queen II I can enjoy the later stuff too. You have to allow a band to evolve. If they don`t it`s gets very boring. There are bands, and I won`t name them here, that lack creativity in a way that when you heard one song, it`s like you have heard them all.

  • second rate?

    you're a mad man

  • Temazo live!

  • Queen AREGAÇA!

  • queen is a best band of the world!!!!

    i miss you freddie!!!

  • I totally agree!

  • I me too

  • i also agree

  • Whoa, I love the bass line!

  • <3 love Roger Taylors voice and backing vocals on this, its make the whole song.

  • I absolutely love their Hot Space material played live. Because Brian never used his Red Special, it just didnt have that Queen sound to that album, but when played live, it brings about it more power and more of a Queen sound to it

  • roger is freakin hot! and they're all amazing especially Freddie..

    He is sorely missed......

  • Thanks:))
