  • @gjghgjgh "Yesterday a UNHCR team at the Egypt border interviewed a group of Sudanese who arrived from eastern Libya who said that armed Libyans were going door to door, forcing sub-Saharan Africans to leave. In one instance a 12-year-old Sudanese girl was said to have been raped," Edwards said.

"They reported that many people had their documents confiscated or destroyed. We heard similar accounts from a group of Chadians who fled Benghazi, Al Bayda and Brega in the past few days," he added.

  • @gjghgjgh Stop spreading lies, Libyan forces were on retreat for last 2 months and rebel continue to bomb civilians rape and execute soldiers and civilians. There is no single evidence of rape by Libyan army. You are not right you stand for raping children and beheading of prisoners, rebels are worst kind of scum.

  • @gjghgjgh A Turkish oil worker account to NPR: “We left behind our friends from Chad. We left behind their bodies,” he said. “We had 70 or 80 people from Chad working for our company. They cut them dead with pruning shears and axes, attacking them, saying you’re providing troops for Gadhafi. The Sudanese, the Chadians were massacred. We saw it ourselves.”

  • @gjghgjgh UN report on rebel crimes: Another case reported to the Commission related to the extra-judicial killing of five Chadian nationals who had been arrested on the basis of their nationality, and taken to the military barracks in Benghazi. Dozens of armed persons either in military style or civilian clothing were said to have poured kerosene on their bodies and burned them to death on 21 February.

  • @gjghgjgh LATimes: One resident of Rayana said victorious insurgents had ordered out of town all residents there suspected of supporting Kadafi. "I want to be honest with you, and I can't say it in front of the [rebels], but the people who supported Kadafi they forced them to leave their homes and go to Tripoli, and some of them they arrested," said the resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of angering the rebels standing nearby.

  • @gjghgjgh Donatella Rovera, senior crisis response adviser for Amnesty, who was in Libya for three months, says that "we have not found any evidence or a single victim of rape or a doctor who knew about somebody being raped".

She stresses this does not prove that mass rape did not occur but there is no evidence to show that it did. Liesel Gerntholtz, head of women's rights at Human Rights Watch, which also investigated the charge of mass rape, said: "We have not been able to find evidence."

  • @gjghgjgh I wonder why all terrorist supporters supporting rebels and pretending to be rebels reside in UK, probably this is because rebel hired PR agency Bell is based there?

  • @gjghgjgh

Need to make a referendum because it seems like only a few support the rebels if they where to not shoot civilians that oppose them....bit. ly/nCkem4

  • If they where shahid why do they pray the funeral prayer

  • This british run propaganda channel is worse than Libyan state TV, and that says a lot. You corrupt reporters are so afraid of your Editors, or you simply dont care about the effects of your propaganda. It will never be forgotten, soon you will fear the wrath of the people more than you fear the hand that feed you.

  • "I kill you. I kill you."

    If he only knew. LMAO

  • NATO pigs.

  • Comment removed

  • @yourtreat2 NATO are bunch of war criminals killing women and children the propaganda is run on news to say gaddafi is doing the killing when NATO has killed his grandchildren. that is international war crime.

  • @usy444u Yeah. I know. Qaddafi is a peach.

  • @yourtreat2

Russia Today just uploaded a video entitled "nato kills 10 civilians for every soldier targetted"

(never mind that, according to the major news outlets based in tripoli, Gadaffi regime is struggling to produce evidence of large civilian deaths and has been caught lying about civilian deaths over and over and over again)

expect the pro-Gadaffi crowd to be even more vocal and outrageous with their claims.

  • @phooey108 the nato owned news agency or which one. Each news agency is biased depending on who owns it.

  • @phooey108

It is obviously a game to you, Im sure you sleep well at night, knowing that Gadaffi is only capable of lying and decieving, whilst your own leaders in the West have a loooooong track record of always telling the truth.

  • @TheHairyHeart the point you raise is what's known as a non-sequitir and strawman . but to follow your example of bringing up a totally unrelated point, ask yourself why Russia Today has a dozen uploads that insinuate NATO criminality in Libya but barely any on the Syrian massacres? Could it be because the Syrian government hosts a Russian naval base?

  • @phooey108

Yes, that could very well be, but I dont think turning a blind eye to a crime in one place, will justify it as a ruling principle. Your point is well taken though. - What I find really odd, is that most people now a days seem content with wars in general. Since Bush left office, the peace movement has been eradicated, in Europe at least, and people who talk against war, destruction and murder in what ever country it may be, are regarded as lunatics.

  • @TheHairyHeart

I dont doubt that NATO has killed civilians in Libya, but if the bombing was as bloody as the Gadaffi regime claimed, (thousands of dead civilians they claim) the evidence would present itself, as it did in Yugoslavia.

Look at Tripoli (bombed by NATO) and look at Misrata (bombed by Gadaffi's forces) One of these cities has whole sections and neighbourhoods that look like Fallujah, the other does not. that's why RT doesnt talk about Misurata.

  • @phooey108 It could be that the Syrian crissis does not involve NATO ?

  • @Soldior

what does that have to do with anything? A russian ally is slaughtering civilians in greater numbers than what can be plausibly attributed to the NATO air strikes on Libya.

  • @phooey108

Yemen is a US ally and so is Bahrain that is killing its people breaking dozens of mosques and putting nurses and human rights activist on death sentences.....

But you poke at Russia as if its alone in this hypocritical interventionism that is going on in the middle-east..

Its all about their interests they do not care about a libyan civilian they cause to live in a war they promoted and now lead and neither do they care about Syrians except to topple their regime.

  • @Soldior

I know. But Im saying, why is RT uploading a dozen videos on NATO action in Syria but barely uploading anything on Syria. Fuck, when they even talk about Syria they talk about NATO and how Syria being prepped for a NATO intervention!

  • @phooey108 It is called objective reporting.

  • @AntinaziHippy

lol. ranting about NATO and the bilderberg group in newsclips about syria is fucking foxnews style shit, but from a russian perspective. RT has a video on Syria with some fucking quack talking about the Bilderberg meetings and how it relates to a conspiracy in Syria. that's not "objective reporting", idiot.

  • @phooey108 CNN and AlJazeera have some videos with conspiracy theories about rapes ordered in Libya and black african mercenaries. I prefer the Bilderberg meetings bs at least it does not spred hate they way other 2 chanels do.

  • @phooey108 Because see it in another way the Russians are at a silent war with NATO as the organisation is actively stealing its former soviet states and trying to solidify their new EU borders with NATO memberships. So attacking them when they are morally and legally weak is all part of the bigger picture but on the case of Syria the Russians see that as a largely false flag operation to kick start an attempt to overthrow the government and place an anti Russia pro NATO regime...

  • @Soldior

The United States doesnt want Bashar al Assad to leave. Listen to what the Obama admin has been saying. "Reform or leave"....that means the US backs a Syria under Assad, albeit weak and discredited.

  • @phooey108 They do but the key is Israels security here and regardless how much they hate him the Israelis said that its better to have the devil you know then the devil you don't know.... they know Assad's limits and interests and sadly there no credible minority they can use to divide and conquer ...

See Iraq's example of using Shia&Kurds vs Arab Sunni's and Northern Alliance vs Pushtun majority in Afghanistan. In Libya this is done by Cyrineicans&Berber vs Tripolitanians&AfroLibyans

  • @phooey108 lol NATO leaders that are illegally publicly doing a regime change is unrelated ??

  • @Soldior

it is in the context of syria's crackdown, where the possibility of a NATO intervention is extremely low at the moment. NATO is stretched thin at the moment. You and I both know, the only way NATO intervenes in Syria is if Assad radically escalated the killing, creates tens of thousands of refugees (especially in the Kurdish regions) and elicits military response from Turkey. As of now RT is using NATO to distract people's attention from the brutality of the Assads.

  • @phooey108

No NATO is the US the European arm is horribly stretched but who expects them to do anything serious ?

The US is worried because unlike Libya the Syrian army has access to hurt the US trough its beloved Israel and THAT cannot be taken lately. Remember that Syria is a larger country and the botched campaign against Libya hurt the hawks in NATO and Syria has a far larger army with missiles and Hezbollah that won against full NATO weapons invasion...... dont hold your breath.

  • @Soldior

The US wont do anything in Syria unless the Turks do it first. I am telling you, the main threat of armed intervention in Turkey isnt coming from the europeans or americans, it's coming from the Turks. If the Turks intervene, NATO could be drawn in, since the Turks are NATO members.

  • @phooey108 I see but NATO only acts when wars and in self defense such as 9/11 if you believe in it or not it was declared to all allies that the US was attacked by a foreign country that refused to hand over murderers but if Turkey intervenes it would be an act of war and a aggression and the Syrian army is trained to fight Israel and Turkey is far inferior and they fear that Syria might arm the hated by both large restive Kurdish people that live along both borders.

  • @phooey108 Interesting info. Obviously, you've been up to no good. lol Well done.

BTW. I post so much in response to other posts, (just wondering), I really can't bother to either carry a chip on my shoulder or really devote any effort to remembering who's who., but if memory serves me well, .... haven't we been at odds about many issues (I can't recall which, when, or even if it's true)? --- Regardless, even if we have, it's a credit to anyone who doesn't bother with trivial things.

  • Glad to know these fanatics are the alternative to the current regime. Also, lol @ the

"i kill you, i kill you" guy.

  • first

  • "trust me....I kill you" LOL
