People claiming this is a cover need to look up the facts this was not a cover of Gary Allen, but he covered this. I believe Vertical Horizon released this song in 1999 and Gary Allan covered it in like 2005. Google it and you will see Gary Allen covered this, not the other way around. In my eyes, the emo kids of today remind me of the grunge kids of the 90s. Rebellious. Individual. Creative. Original. Wanting to stray from the norm. And wanting love, even if they feel they're unloveable. Just like the hippies of the 60s. Just like the swingers of the 20s. Just like the romantic poets who dreamed of something more in the 16th century.

Great song always have loved it! Funny yhing is last year my gf broke up with me for no reason at all. Not even 2 weeks later i found some one else who litterly is a female version of me and she loves me, she told me that she doesnt ever want to leave me. Like the song and some songs say it might take you getting your heartbroken several times before you find and realize that the person you find is meant for you

not to be a ball buster but Gary Allan wrote this song for his dead wife, and i think he did a lot better job then this RIP OFF, dont believe me check it out on gary allans vevo

@smallboy58 actually your wrong vertical horizon wrote this song, its off their album everything you want it came out in 1999 you should do your research before you say something :). But i do like Gary Allan's version more

uhhh im so sad because i liked my gf a whole lot but she died in a plane crash and then i got closer to her sister, but my gf never died and she never forgave me until one night i was going to apologize so i went to her house and i saw her eating her sister! she had become a zombie! and i never got to tel her she was pretty :)
