I would posit that a miracle (whatever definition you actually use) would be an extraordinary event which requires extraordinary evidence. Testimonies, even from multiple impeccably reliable sources, could never be used to prove that a miracle actually occurred.
@maverik713 WHO in their right mind would press like on this? This was directed at the foolish responses I got! I was right they were wrong! Are you paying attention?
if one person in the history of time beats cancer, it's a miracle. when millions of people beat cancer, it's a naturally occurring phenomenon. Lol plus I love it when you say "but the bible is just a bunch of fairy tales, right?" Yep, it is. How come God used to do all these incredible miracles, like restore a mans ear, until recorded medical history came about. What's your opinion on Highlander? I'd say it's about as accurate as the bible.
@sagerbj86 "beating cancer" has nothing to do with anything regarding my videos on medical miracles. Watch them first before you make a ridiculous comment. The doctor was DEAD for over 1 hour, then came back to life and is totally NORMAL! THAT is a miracle!!!
@emptywithoutjesus I couldn't make it past like 3 minutes, it was painful. What you're calling miracles, I call medical anomalies. The point is, if results have been duplicated (ie someone coming back from medical death) you can't classify it as a miracle anymore, because there is presidence.
@emptywithoutjesus I would posit that a miracle (whatever definition you actually use) would be an event which requires a suspension of natural laws, to make that claim would require extraordinary evidence. Testimonies, even from multiple impeccably reliable source, could never be used to prove that a miracle actually occurred.
why don't You make a video of God Healing Amputees? or children with down syndrome or any thing eles that is medical impossible?why don't You make a video of God Healing Amputees? or children with down syndrome or any thing eles that is medical impossible?
EWJ please tell me of a miracle which has happened which doesn't have an alternate explanation? I'll add a miracle which is really just a bullshit story. Please provide evidence not just stories. You know stories like your bible provides without evidence? You do know that sometimes the human body heals itself right? Ask a doctor. I have and that's what I was told. No Jeebus required, or any other nonexistent magic God for that matter.
@bigboy45454545 Are you an idiot or just pretending to be? Did you hear the stroy of the man who was dead for 1 1/2 hours and now alive??? Scientifically impossible.
@emptywithoutjesus If this man is alive then he's not dead right? Now who says he was dead for 1 1/2 hours? Somebody from your religion I'll wager to bet. And no I didn't hear this story to begin with. It sure sounds like a story to me. Where's the evidence for this "story"? Show it to me idiot?
@emptywithoutjesus No thanks. I saw quite enough of it the first time. I'd rather establish if this man even has the credentials to claim he's a legitimate doctor before I even consider listening to a word he says.
And what you did there my friend - that is a classic diversion tactic, attempting to shift the argument away from the point at hand.
PART 3 I'd gone to those sites. I must say that on 2nd look, I'm impressed. To make up, I'm sending U a site that has a CURE 4 CANCER! How do I know it's true? Well not only does it have a Dr.'s name & picture on it, HEEZ ON DA GOOGLE! It Must Be True! Do I have medical record of patients cured? No. Do I have proof of medical credentials? What does it matter, HEEZ ON DA GOOGLE! He's got an army of gullible saps behind steering wheels to back him up! I'm sorry Empty...for thinking you had a clue
@YOURINQUIRER Please-please-please kiss the chimpanzee right on the lips for me...since your cousins and all. Please prepare your liberal tear ducts for the upcoming slaughter of the disgraceful obamination. He is the worst thing that has EVER happened to this country and one of your ancestors could be a better president. So get your canary a ticket and start the campaign because nobody's going to the teleprompter this time around. Hope and change is coming again and I can't wait.
@emptywithoutjesus Kissing cousins & inbreeding tend to happen more w/ Christians...at least in the South ;-). You're trying to pawn off your poor thinking skills on the President now? I 'm wager U were as poor a thinker before the election. BTW, your favorite Conservative politicians use teleprompters, so stop vomiting back what FOX News tells U to think.
When a website says something, you ask for evidence like medical records, witnesses, participants & qualifications of those making claims.
@YOURINQUIRER Hey prideful, arrogant flaming liberal. Can't admit defeat, but it doesn't matter. I know I won. It's cool. I'm right and you're wrong. I know that because you have nothing to say. Nothing will appease you. Well, maybe if Darwin came back from the dead to tell you you're wrong. Maybe then. Or you could remain in your pride, reject your creator and meet him yourself.
@emptywithoutjesus What's with this "liberal" nonsense? What does politics have to do with your lack of critical thinking skills? Do you know how many conservatives don't believe in a god? Andrew Breitbart, S.E. Cupp, David Horowitz and George Will just to name a few. Done blame politics because you made a mistake and just want to take some unknown guy's word for it. Others have pointed out to you the same. You're just too prideful to admit it or too lazy to do your homework. Isn't sloth a sin?
PART 2 Chimpanzees act aggressively towards theft, infidelity, killing members and even promote altruism. Did your god send them these commandments on a banana? The traits make us more survivable. Your religion is a johnny-come-lately to ethics.
According to your holy book, there is free will in Heaven and there is neither "sin" or suffering, explain that.
You make the same mistake as last time, if one miracle did occur, it would ONLY prove something supernatural, NOT YOUR god.
@YOURINQUIRER "Chimpanzees act aggressively towards theft, infidelity, killing members and even promote altruism." That is so true. I caught a few of them carjacking the other day. Fortunately I threw them a banana to distract them and the police caught up with them. They're tough though, real tight lipped with the investigation.
They just kept smiling when they were questioned about their leader.
@emptywithoutjesus Are you off your meds? What is any of this supposed to even mean? Then you wonder why you are responded to in the way you are. It's the lazy way to blame it on hatred of God or liberalism. Maybe it's just you. Did you ever think of that? While your thinking about that, why don't you just answer my point, instead of telling yourself you're funny.
Jumping to the conclusion that a deity is causing these "miracles" is unfounded. Being ignorant of the means by which someone is cured of a disease does not give you license to cram your god into that gap. How many times has this been explained to you, now? This is getting really frustrating.
@emptywithoutjesus This is why I put "miracles" in quotes. I don't accept the conclusion that you're drawing that these events are miracles, as you define them. You seem to define miracles as something which can not be explained by any naturalistic theory, and thus must be caused by a deity. Therefore, I don't accept that the events mentioned are "miracles" as you define them. Again, a gap in our understanding need not be filled with your incoherent god.
@emptywithoutjesus ... erm ... Do you have a way to seperate miracles from coincidences? Seriously Empty, I'm genuine here. How can you tell a miracle from something that is not? Honestly Empty tell me how you decide. I'm a skeptic, you are a believer. Right, we know that about each other. Do you agree that a person who is "dead" in a hospital, being worked on by medical staff, for an hour could "wake up" right after someone prayed and that could just be a coincidence. How do you tell?
@Danmill23 A coincidence is us having the same birthday and being the same age. An impossible event happening is a miracle...in my opinion.
The dead person in the hospital had been given up on. Also, his wife, who is also a medical doctor, saw the whole event and verified his death. She was an eyewitness to these events.
At some point Dan, you must realize that every single situation can't possibly be a coincidence or luck/chance.
Gone for 6 months... Nothing's changed. lolz ;-) What up, Empty!

do you agree with everthing in Leviticus like
Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)
Any person who curseth his mother or father, must be killed. (Leviticus 20:9)
If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10).
If a priest's daughter is a whore, she is to be burnt at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9)
Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

It was not a miracle.
Please provide a link to this Doctor's school where he got his medical degree? My Googling skills must be inferior to yours - I could not find it.

Either you don't know or you're covering for him.

Hey lying, insincere, church computer dependant, what's up? Hey lying, insincere, church computer dependant, what's up?!
You better hope we're right about your god since you know you're lying about why you have that stupid beginning.
I'll ignore your Palin rant since you're pretending to read the minds of all atheists on that. Many conservatives can't stand her, also.
If no one told you inflicting suffering on people is wrong then you should never speak to your parents again

By luck I meant coincidence. Just when the wife prayed the doctors revived the man.
That could just be a lucky coincidence right? Even IF god is real that event could still be a "lucky coincidence".
