All our ancestors had to do was survive the trip and sign your name when you got to Ellis Island, for example. Now it's a complicated, endless process that half the time never results in anything for the applicant.

Now lets take into consideration that working in the country you either A have to work under someone elses SS# or ID or make a fake ID--Fraud and ID theft or B work for cash--which means they are not paying taxes. For one, many of them had dead people's SS#s, so that's not hurting anyone.
