  • @rthomson10 I do not have the sheet music for this but I have a feeling you might find it on Google. Sorry, but best of luck to you. Have a great party!

  • magnificent what cd is this on please?

  • @james080871

It is on my vinyl of Joan called "Noel". Lovely album.

  • @james080871 I stupidly gave the wrong answer, not bothering to look at the carol, so sorry. It is from a vinyl of Christmas carols that I can't for the life of me find where I put it. I will keep looking.

  • beautiful song, sound quality, and visual. Thank you.

  • @AssortedFruitFlvrs

Thank you! I appreciate the comment. The Carol is a favorite, as is Galway. C.

  • So sweet

  • ummm...no! my friends and I were bored and couldnt think of a better username...and btw the video is interesting!:)

  • This song is amazing! I love the wexford carol! Irish music is the most beautiful music in the world!

  • Are you the bishop of Bath and Wells by any chance? I refer to your username. Have you taken it from an episode of Blackadder 2 called Money?

Maybe you dont know what I mean, but seeing your username brought back memories of a very funny episode. If you want a giggle search "Blackmailing the bishop"

  • Thank you, alemelech, for stopping by and the comment. C.

  • pretty boring

  • To each his own.

  • @puretroubleman, if you were a flutist and an appreciator of art, you wouldn't make such a ridiculous comment. Gimme a break, man.

  • I don't know anything because I don't agree with your views?

  • Dear puretrouble,

I wouldn't go that far, and thanks for your diplomacy. But I'm curious: are you a lover of classical music, or do you play the flute yourself? Are you aware of Galway's reputation in the professional flute world at-large? I'm sorry this music was boring to you.

  • I do listen to classical music, but not very often. its hard to find something that agrees with me.

I have very little experience with flutes and am unaware of galways reputation.

however I don't think that should stop me from having an opinion. I find this music dull and tame. nothing in it seems to express any strong emotion.

also I find the harp in this more enjoyable than the flute. maybe I just have a thing against flutes and flute lovers :)

  • Well, you're certainly entitled to you opinion. :)

  • @puretroubleman keep it to yourself noone needs to hear from you. if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all.

  • Good man sir James

  • Breathtakingly beautiful rendition by Sir James Galway!
