God knows us through His Son. If we do not have His Son we do not have God. We Must let Jesus become us, for when God looks at us He is not looking at us but at Jesus in us. It's the part in us that is saved, that is His gift to us, we are now crucified & paid the penalty of sin because Jesus in us is now us. I had false teachers starting to cause me doubt in eternal salvation. I was also being spiritually attacked by the demonic. Anyway, God "urged" me to read the Psalms, which I had never read before as a new Christian. One night, the attacks stopped. I felt God's presence in my room. I had only started reading the Psalms, and I had no idea of the #'s for each Psalm. Suddenly, God gently "urged" me to read Psalm 23. I skipped pages ahead to read it. God let me know that Psalm 23 was my answer.

You have spoken the truth through the Holy Spirit. It's not hard to understand. It's that simple, these are the words of Jesus! When others are trying to say, that you can lose your salvation, they are contradicting the words of Jesus. According to John 3:16, you cannot lose your salvation, if you were given eternal life. Eternal means forever, not temporary. There is no sin big enough that God cannot forgive His children for. Always trust in His unconditional love!
