  • If you want great online Bible study, click the link on my channel.

  • For a non-christian, i feel this is plain simple & easy to understand the bible & Christianity. Thanks for the effort.

  • You jus gota let yo mind go blind and let god do his thing. Peace 11

  • What if the LORD was trying to say that the ark is like our faith, and all the life that it carried represented our spirit, and our spiritual brothers. If we have spent our time building a strong faith with our friends and loved ones around the LORD, while everybody else mocked and laughed then when the REAL test comes who will be able to stand? WE must look for wisdom as it were hidden silver. every scripture in the bible has SOMETHING to offer. The LORD is always talking to us.

  • great stuff...thanks brother

  • Jesus came to me in a dream and said modern religion has is wrong and need to just love one another and the bible was written by a wicked power hungry men, religion is the middle man, go to the sauce yourselves

  • @kraqore79 Not that I want to prolong this nonsense... but how do you know it was the Lord Jesus? Chew on that.

  • @scottobiblestudy There is the control again, how do you know it was'nt Jesus? Dinosaurs walked the earth this is a fact, where is that in the bible, there is a god but your bible is out dated and prevents the evolution of mankind to find what god is really about, but I wish you well and take comfort in the fact I will burn in hell cos that is what an omni present being would want for his one of his creation that questions.

  • @scottobiblestudy That's always the question, isn't it. Seems that the only thing we have to fall back on is rational thought. Without that, then we have to shrug and accept that any belief is as valid as any other. Given that many beliefs are harmful to other people, maybe actually thinking is best. For instance, although Jesus says that his followers won't be harmed if they drink poison (Mark 16: 18), well, any rational person would avoid testing this claim (as most do).

  • Thanks for the reply. After 30 years of being mostly non- religious, Jesus came to me in a dream. He didn't say anything but I decided to start reading the bible. It hasn't really answered any questions, just given me more. However I tend to read on and look past any skepticism I might have.

  • @brodell20 ,, If you REALLY want the TRUTH,, Read the URANTIA BOOK,, which is the 5th Revelation of TRUTH to earth, Jesus was the 4th Revelation of Truth, ,because the Revelation of Truth is an ""ONGOING PROCESS"", it does Not Just Stop with the Bible..LEARN MORE ABOUT JESUS than you thought was possible. click on my name, go to my channel &, watch the Two,, 3 minute videos,, then go to............................¬.. w w w . t r u t h b o o k . c o m

  • @steveinphx revelation - "it is finished" . Don't you remember that quote?

  • @Passionofawriter , the Revelation of Truth is an ONGOING PROCESS,,,, it is NOT Finished,, that is the LIE of the Church,, we receive more truth, ONLY when we are ready for it,,,,, was your education finished when you finished grade school,, NO !!! was your education finished when you graduated High School,, NO !! Both our education and the Revelation of Truth is an ONGOING PROCESS... Don't believe the LIES of the Church when they tell you the Bible is the Final Revelation of Truth !!!

  • @steveinphx every single bit of information and truth for your life and everyone's life can be found in the bible. You don't need another book for it, the bible says it all.

  • @Passionofawriter But i don't understand the bible though i try to read it slowly & carefully.

  • @nazaharin you don't understand it? Speak to your church leaders/friends/pastors. you can even speak to me :)

  • @Passionofawriter - For your info, i was borne m#!$%^&$%m but not practicing it now. It doesn't lead me to the truth. i have found an online YouTube program. Hopefully its help. Thanks for your reply anyway.

  • @nazaharin you were born what?

and why aren't you 'practising'? Did you lose faith?

  • @Passionofawriter - moslem

  • @nazaharin so you were born muslim?

okay, well good luck with whatever it is your doing. I hope it goes well :)

  • The bible says the arc is 300x50x30 cubits. Later it say the flood was deeper than the tallest mountain, it was 30 cubits deep. How can this be? Relative to the arc (I don't know the size of a cubit)this doesn't seem that deep.

  • @brodell20 Thanks for checking in... a cubit is roughly 18 inches. Plenty of research has been done on the ark and its capacity. The ark was designed to float, so it would have been sufficient. The point in regard to the ark is that since there is no flood coming and since God didn't direct the "command" to build the ark to us, we should understand that not every command and not every promise is directed to all people of all time. We must study to understand what is commanded/promised to us. :)

  • Go ahead and praise your Hollywood stars. They will lead you to heaven when you die.God bless you Scott.

  • @cmutambo What? I have no idea as to what you are referring.

  • This video was very clear and helpful for those trying to better understand how to approach studying the bible to decipher for ourselves what God is saying as good followers. Thank you very much for posting this. I look forward to watching the other ones :) I have already shared with a girlfriend who is on her own personal journey and know she'll find it helpful as well. I plan on sharing it with my husband and his parents soon as well. It's great for those with a thirst for understanding!

  • @HollyKasper Thanks, Holly. Hope you take the call to seek for yourself. :) I hope the other vids will provide more encouragement to seek a consistent way to look at scripture.

  • Swearing, cursing generation ahead. I am not an American, but I admired America's values ever since I was born. My kids always loved to travel to America. Not today. Americas public schools are full of swearing kids, kids with lots of disrespect, and kids that have been told that religion is crap. Lets wait and see. Peace be upon you Americans who believe. God will prevail. Pray pray and pray for the atheists on this forum. Even when they call us deluded.

  • @cmutambo AMEN!

  • Every country that has lost its values, beliefs and soul, has lost its superiority. America--people trust me, America will collapse if it loses its Christian Identity. This may happen within the next 10 years. The language used by atheists on this comment board shows the type of people that will rule America soon.

  • What's your favorite verse of Proverbs?

  • I'm a Christian and not coming down on you at all for trying Michael just

thought you might have a better approach to reading the Bible and less

talking about your going to read it .

    Just my 2 cents

    Daniel

  • @battlized Thanks Daniel, but the purpose of the lessons is not the mechanics of reading, but the importance of interpreting what you are reading. Based on the notion of discerning what is TO us from what is FOR us, I would suggest we read what our Apostle, Paul, instructs us for "this present age" before we seek to read other parts of scripture. Thanks again for checking in.

  • For the record, the email comment is not directed at me. I wouldn't email anyone who comments on my videos unless he or she requested something along those lines... That said, I commend blackbird01T for his patience and long-suffering. :) An important thing to take from all this is the need to rightly divide the Word; draw lines and understand the time, place and purpose in the commands and promises of God. Lev can only be understood if one understands Israel unique place. Without that... noise

  • SLAVERY IS BAD. However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

    DON'T EMAIL ME, CREEP.

  • It didn't take long to see that the god of the bible was a psychotic teen who killed people because didn't get his way. It's make-believe people. Who cares how the world got here. You don't need religion for peace because there is no peace. We go through depression, normal, and happiness, everyday, thats as good as it gets. And why does god always have to be a man, cant he be a something cooler, like a talking cat, like the one in Sabrina. I think witchcraft is a fun religion, with hot girls.

  • @steelbrushtattoo looking at your channel know i understand you, its funny that some like you who likes dark stuff, and probably violence, and you talk about the bible being cruel and evil. It seems to me your not a good person, who love people and you want the best for them you are a hater, and all your affords to make the bible evil is funny cause your the one who evil and love darkness. The fallen angle (devil) has you. only God can help you know. [Witchcraft = Devil ]

  • @blackbird01T What does my music have to do with killing millions of people like the god of the bible? Your just trying to project blame on me, and take the heat off the bible. I graduated college with a 3.7 GPA, so you'll have to persuade someone else with your lame manipulative tactics.

  • @steelbrushtattoo So I have i graduate collage with a 4.0 in computer and electronics engineering technology, what does this has to do with anything? Your music and what you like tells me about your personality and what you say here about bible, God, and witchcraft . Your just doing ether two things, you just hate God so you came here to talk bad about the bible or You want attention.

  • @blackbird01T I can't be mad at something I don't believe in. I don't believe in Santa, so I don't get mad at Santa. I do my part to stop Christianity because it is a dangerousness. What would you do if they brought back slavery. Also, Christianity is a mental illness, anyone who believes in a invisible man has problems.

  • @steelbrushtattoo well you can not stop Christianity, but you can chose not to believe, thats your choice, but i don't know y you keep saying Christianity is slavery, I know you know that your not going to change us, who already believe in God, your targeting the new comers or people who are thinking about becoming Christian. and by the way the vid i send you was about an atheist just like you who did not believed in God just like you until he died 15 mins and saw GOD. last comment to you.

  • @blackbird01T Yes, it would be good if we ended the conversation. We will never change...Later

  • @blackbird01T Christian programs are poison to the mind, so I didn't watch your video. You should through away your bible, and stop watching Christian shows. That stuff will make you believe in spirits, hell, the devil, god, and all kinds of weird stuff.

  • @steelbrushtattoo that is your choice not ours dont judge you have no right. and the bible is a holy scripture you dont through it away please stop trolling thanks.

  • @steelbrushtattoo You are an example of a classic atheist. You keep saying how God killed millions of people, yet you never seem to mention that God saved the good people, before His JUDGEMENT fell upon the bad people. God did not 'kill' people, He just punished them. e.g. Sodom & Gomorrah. Before God destroyed the two cities, He saved Abraham's nephew Lot & Lot's family. Noah's Flood, God saved Noah and his family, but judged the wicked. It's called Capital Punishment!!!

  • I never give up when it comes to telling people what Christians believe. Christians=Slavery. Right now Christians don't believe in slavery, sometimes slavery is vouge and sometimes it's not. The only way to slow down the spread of Christianty is to point out how dumb and crule it is. People are realizing that the stories are made up, mabe they will realize that the whole bible is made up. Atheist must hammer away relentlessly. People must go on the attack on the people and churches too.

  • @steelbrushtattoo Do you care what's true or are you stuck on "Christians=slavery" shtick? You apparently do not understand "slavery". Many Europeans came to country as"indentured servants". In the Biblical system (for Israel, under the law, not today), servants had rights and they also had the opportunity on occasion to take their freedom or agree to continue as servants. Now... regardless... as I always say, if Islam is true, we'd all better become Muslims... truth is what matters in the end.

  • @scottobiblestudy Don't justify slavery to me because I'm not buying it. If you like bible slavery, then you have no moral values. As an atheist, I have more moral values then god and the bible because I would not force people to be slaves.

  • @steelbrushtattoo what r ur morals? and ur answers sound more like u acknowledge God but chose to not believe in him. even if u don't believe i him he believes in you and he loves you,i pray that God may bless you, and that you'll one day get to know him, like i have.

  • @blackbird01T If you need a book that was written by barbarians, for inspiration and values, then your in trouble. There is no proof of god, and if there was, why should I have anything to do with it. I would never be associated with the bible because it is too cruel. I could never be as cruel as the fake god of the bible. I just don't have that much inhumanity in me.

  • @steelbrushtattoo * Earth's Round shape - Isiah 40:22

  • @steelbrushtattoo Good luck. You obviously have no interest in the truth. Atheism is an irresponsible position for anyone to claim. You can't even explain everything in your backyard let alone throughout the universe or throughout time, yet you've decided that all things have happened by accident, for no reason to accomplish nothing according to no plan. You have no explanation for the origin of life, yet you have already concluded that it happened by accident... there's little hope for you.

  • @scottobiblestudy At-least I don't have make up a cruel god who loves slavery to explain things I don't understand.

  • @scottobiblestudy Good luck. Relying on arguments from ignorance (Goddidit!) is a bad strategy if you are not only trying to reach uneducated people. Regarding the universe: Gravity! GRAVITY!!! G R A V I T Y! See, no accident involved, just natural laws. Origin of life? Imagine that, scientists have no problem to say: I don't know that! Only time will tell, maybe we'll never know... Anyhow, there's no hope for you in the real world. Say hi to the unicorns, will ya?

  • @steelbrushtattoo What happened to 'religious freedom'? Oh yes I forgot, there isn't any. Here is a small list of the topics that the Bible talks about:

    Radioactive Decay- 2Peter 3:10,

    Hydrologic Circles- Ps. 137:7,Ec 1:7,Job 36:27-29

Earth's round shape- Job 26:7 (The Bible says the earth is round. So called 'scientists' said the earth was flat!)

    Universe Expanding- Job 26:7

    Earth's foundation- Job 26:7

    Clouds & condensation- Job 28:8, 27:11

    Atmospheric Jet streams- Ec 1:6

  • Great video man, but please turn off auto-focus.

  • @doctorpeppor Yeah, I fixed that by the 4th video. It annoys me too. Thanks for checking in!

  • It's hard to have respect for Christians because they believe in the bible as holy. Slavery is not cool. It never was, and it never will be. If Christians adopt slavery again, I'll be the first one to put an AK-47 round in their fucking heads.Christians had no right to keep people in chains, and work them to death, and sell off their children. What the fuck were they thinking.People need to retaliate against all Christians with guns, fire, and baseball bats. The time is now while they are weak.

  • Moses killed a guy for picking on someone, then he escaped the area, until the king died, then Moses returned. So, Moses was a murderer, and a fugitive. Us Atheist just love bible stories. I like the story that said you can beat your slave to death as long as he doesn't die on the first day, but if he dies on the second or third day, then it is OK because he is your property. Slavery, rape, murder, the bible is a book written by barbarians for barbarians. I'm glad I have more morals then god.

  • @steelbrushtattoo Read the New Testament. I take it you haven't, otherwise you would not post such a comment. Also realize that more people have been killed by Atheists than any other religion (Yes, Atheism is a religion too) in the world. Moa, Stalin and Hitler (atheist?). After you have done some study, come back and post some more comments for us to read.

  • @amdarvon Just saying that atheism is a religion shows your ignorance. Read the definition of what a religion is in any dictionary. I can assure you that atheism does not fit that description, You might have a made-up opinion of what you might think a religion is,but clearly you don't.Studies show that religious people have lower IQ's,now I see why.The Jesus of your bible said "slaves obey your masters."Don't email me because you don't have the intelligence to email me a question with any merit

  • @steelbrushtattoo I see. Lower IQ's. lol. You need to do some reading. Start with the 4th definition in Merriam"s: I don't think you had better mention IQ any more. It makes you look real .......... lol Oh, take out the spaces in case you don't notice. All I need is another presumptuous Atheist you know what. See you soon I hope. Maybe read a bit of the bible????

    h t t p : / / w w w. m e r ri a m-w e b s t e r. c o m / d i ct i on a r y / r e l i g i o n

  • @amdarvon Yes, talk about low IQ's. You believe in an invisible god, zombies who walked around after christ died. I don't believe in zombies, but you do. Now who has the low IQ. You believe in all the red parted, also. Do I need to keep going on about your crazy religion. Not only do yoi have a low IQ, but you are a fucking moron. Oh, I forgot to mention to say FUCK THE HOLY GHOST because I don't believe in ghost.

  • @amdarvon Read about how the bible approves of slavery, rape, murder, animal sacrifice, incest, magic water parting show, stoning your children, and the list goes on and on. You would need a low IQ to believe that the bible is a moral guide. Fucken retards like you that make this world suck.

  • @steelbrushtattoo Read. Yes, read. First read a dictionary. Go from there. Who ever said the bible was a moral guide? The Bible tells it like it is. That is life. Look around you bro. Your own page says it all. vampires? marylin manson? SATANIST... Need I say more. Down, down, down. No place for you. Oh, keep swearing..... lol, and try and get an education instead of indoctrination. Satan has you good.

  • @amdarvon Atheism is not a religion PERIOD. I'm not going to let an idiot that worships a mass murderer, and believes in a talking donkey tell me otherwise.Yes, the bible is a moral guide book for most Christians. There is no such thing a Satan, angles, gods, and a living Christ. You are so brainwashed, I can't believe you believe anything in the bible. Here are a few questions, do you believe that Noah saved all the animals on an ark? Do you believe in a talking donkey? Are midgets unclean?

  • @steelbrushtattoo Define it as you wish. I take it you did not look at your dictionary nor the Bible. As I said "Take a look at Mao and Stalin (atheists'). Then come back and talk about mass murder. Wake up dude. If you don't believe in right and wrong, then do what you wish. Up to you. Read bud. Pick up a book once in a while and seeing as you didn't deny you are american I will have to take that as affirmative. Poor, poor education. Oh, marilyn and the vampires are waiting for you. Satanist

  • @amdarvon You don't get it, it's the bible and bible believers that are causing the wars, poverty, etc. People are starting to wake up, and what they see is Christians as the enemy. You have the advantage of a government that still works, but when it stops working, then it will be payback time for Christians. The whole world is against what Christians have done to people, and what they are still doing. This is a dangerousness time to be a Christian. Fuck the dictionary, people want blood.

  • @steelbrushtattoo I am in partial agreement with you, but you also need to understand that not every professed Christian is a true Christian. There are many satanists' that have infiltrated the churches. This is very clear just by looking at what the vatican has been doing for the past few centuries. I myself am Christian. I believe in Jesus and the New Testament. I also believe that not everything in the bible is fact.

  • @amdarvon Catholics have always been the punching bag of the rich protestants. White Evangelical Christians blame them for everything.Catholics usually are poor hard working lower blue caller workers. It's the Evangelicals, and bible believers that people hate the most. If you believe in the bible, then you have to believe in the whole bible, not just what you like. There is a war brewing, and Christians are not going to come up o top. When government falls Christians will feel the wrath.

  • @steelbrushtattoo You read the Old with the New. I do not. It is clear from reading the old testament that the god of it was not GOD, but an entity. This entity maybe of GOD, but is or was not GOD. I agree with much of what you say, but I know you do not know where I am coming from or what I stand for. I am for knowledge, learning and searching for truth. You say again and again that Atheism is not religion. If it is not that means that you believe in disbelief. RELIGION. Dictionary. Read.

  • @amdarvon In the following parable, Jesus clearly approves of beating slaves even if they didn't know they were doing anything wrong. The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)

  • @steelbrushtattoo You misread like many others. This verse is not about slaves. It is about the children that believe and those that don't know. Pick up a better bible. Yours is deceitful. This is why there is misunderstanding. Go back to Greek or Aramaic to find some truth. Stop letting yourself be lied to, to serve your own agenda. This is very obtuse. Sorry, but true. Wake up. Start reading the real scripture if you want to know. If you don't, that is your own choice. Show some intelligence.

  • @amdarvon Re`li´gion Pronunciation: rė`lĭj´ŭn

    n. 1. The outward act or form by which men indicate their recognition of the existence of a god or of gods having power over their destiny, to whom obedience, service, and honor are due; the feeling or expression of human love, fear, or awe of some superhuman and overruling power, whether by profession of belief, by observance of rites and ceremonies, or by the conduct of life; a system of faith and worship; a manifestation of piety

  • Respond to this video... Calling atheism a religion would entitle atheists to certain legal rights that we do not currently enjoy. Atheism does not fall under the legal guidelines to be considered a religion, and become a 501 C3 church, but some of of atheist want to be a legal religion, so we can get tax breaks. We hope that you can convince your legislators to except us as a religion. I will archive your proof that we are a religion, so it can help our cause.

  • @steelbrushtattoo Just read them the definition of Atheism in the dictionary. Hard to dispute.

  • @amdarvon To continue: But I am not affiliated with any sect or church as I have not found one to be entirely true. I would only like to see the Atheists' to understand that there are Christians that are true. I am with you against the false ones and there are many more false Christians than true ones. That is why Atheism is flourishing. I don't blame you for your disbelief because of this. But to say there is no GOD is to you like me saying there is. No solid proof either way. I hope you know.

  • @amdarvon Origin of ATHEISM

Middle French athéisme, from athée atheist, from Greek atheos godless, from a- + theos god

    First Known Use: 1546

Atheism is a word that means godless, PERIOD. No church, no holy book, no ordained pastor. I bet, you feel like a idiot. Atheism is a disbelief in god, nothing more, nothing less. Don't make shit up, it makes you look like an idiot.

  • @steelbrushtattoo Exactly. Disbelieve is a belief there isn't. Now who is the idiot? You need an education in yourself.

2 Corinthians 13:5 (King James Version)

    (5) Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

  • @amdarvon First, you have to get a grip on your English skills, You don't have to be perfect, but just good enough to read. Second, I don't want to chat with you because you believe slavery was good in the bible. This conversation is done, so don't email me because I will not respond. PERIOD!!!

  • @steelbrushtattoo lol, I figured you would give up sooner rather than later.

  • @amdarvon don't argue with steelbrushtatto that's he wants, you'll never convince him of anything. some atheists want to make Christians look and feel dumb with there smart and logical answers, and they also use Bible against Christians like the devil.

  • @blackbird01T Yes, thanks. I know his agenda. This is not the first I have run into.

  • @blackbird01T Like the deviil??? Ok so u actually believe in a devil to? I guess you by that admit that your god is not so smart and omnipotent as many of you Christians like to claim.

Trust me. We non-believers don't need to argue with believes to make them look stupid. That they manages all on their own. No help required on the way.... :)

  • @TheNorwegianSkeptic How did i admit that my God is not so smart? by just believe in a devil ? we manage to look stupid on our own? thats ur way of thinking and ur opinion my friend, but thats ok u made ur choice and i have made mine, I rather believe there is a God, and die and find out that there is not a God, than to not believe and find out that there is a God.

  • GOD BLESS YOU, PRAISE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR WASHING US WITH HIS BLOOD, SHOUT HIS NAME IN THE STREETS

  • @lisashaye Thanks, Lisa. :)

  • to see more on bible study go to bible study manual by michael youngblood

  • @mamamamka I'll make note.

  • If you would like to know more about Bible study manual by michael Youngblood

  • Feel free to visit my channel some time. God knows that I like to get to know my brothers and sisters on here. God bless you.

  • If we rightly "divide" the word of truth without reading it with any preconceived ideas we will do well. To divide a passage of scripture in an epistle the right way we must know when we can start and when we can stop reading a particular thought conveyed by the author. This thought conveyed will be continuous from start to finish. The context of the thought conveyed will not change otherwise the author would be contradicting himself. We must rely totally on God to teach us the scriptures

  • If it includes trinity well then it's untrue.

  • let me guss "i am" what does it mean when i say "iam"

me meemememmemem mem me me me mem me me me me me me me me me me meme em ememmemememe

  • what a bunch of hot air.

  • You cant study the Bible, or interpret some parts of it literally, or say no this means that etc, basically STUDY the Bible without even knowing the language. Christians should at least learn Hebrew or dead Greek, whatever it is, before studying.

  • @TheKap1an Fortunately , we live in a day when we have instant access to Hebrew and Greek interlinear Bibles. Both languages are relatively small and dead. That makes it easier because words don't constantly evolve in dead languages (as they do in a language like English).

  • thanks for your video

  • Please read the Qur'an with the same open mindedness, and why don't you adhere only to Jesus (may peace be upon him) sayings? Jesus (peace be upon him) was the only Prophet sent down to us * at that time,

  • @ZagiEscobar The Qur'an tells you that he is only a prophet, when the Bible says otherwise. Do you believe Muhammad really knew what Christianity was about? I don't think he understood what the trinity was about.

  • @godswordsheal I don't know if Mohammad (PBUH) knew anything about christianity, but our Creator knows everything, so he doesn't need to know about christianity for our Creator to have told him. Historically, there is no ancestry to christians that comes from jeruselum (and middle east), this mainly because most christians that were around middle east at 550AD (1400 yrs closer to Jesus (PBUH) than we are), converted to Islam, soon as they found out the final Messenger (PBUH) has come,

  • @ZagiEscobar I agree 100%, God could have told Mohammad(sorry I spelled it wrong the first time) about Christianity. But the since the Qur'an does not accurately describe what Christians believe, and says that Jesus never claimed to be God, I have to doubt that God did talk to him, God certainly knew what Christians believed at that time and since Mohammad did not it's likely that God did not talk to him, at least not about Christianity.

  • @godswordsheal The Qur'an does not have a scope on the bible, only on the gospel.

'we do not follow the teachings of Christ' Are you saying that you don't follow what Jesus (PBUH) has taught?

Why can't you explain the trinity clearly, surely you would find it easy to understand?

  • @ZagiEscobar Sorry I may have read what you wrote incorrectly, it seemed to me that you meant teachings about him. We do follow him and his teachings.

God is everlasting....and God has always been in three persons (Father, Son, and Spirit, Genesis 1)NOT three Gods. So, at this certain time in history God sent his son (the everlasting son) to be born into human flesh, Jesus was always God (being the Son) but the Son is not the Father, nor is the Father the Spirit, nor is the Spirit the Son.

  • @ZagiEscobar 2. Yet all three are, have always. and will always be God, Indivisible. God is 3 in and of Himself. Some people use: mind, body, and spirit as a similar concept although its not a perfect comparison; if that makes any sense. When Jesus took on human form he was not like a piece of God separated from the other. Surely you believe God could live in a body and live outside of a body simultaneously.

  • @godswordsheal Your concept about mind, body and spirit, doesn't really explain your trinitarian view, your body doesn't always do what you mind or spirit wills, and your spirit is the life (time in this world) that you have.

I'm sorry but you said 'God WAS BORN (not came alive)', and you said 'Surely you believe God could live in a body'

I don't think that our Creator lives, our Creator is not bound by reality. And you can't die if your not living.

  • @ZagiEscobar I said "God WAS BORN (not came alive) in a human body." You cut off the last part. By this I mean God entered into His creation through birth. I do not mean that God had a beginning. God entered into His creation and had a life just like us, God (the Son) was the one in the body. God (the Father) and God (the Spirit) were not, God (the Son) was killed and was resurrected by God (the Father) because that is when He was sent to do.

  • @ZagiEscobar 2. God gave Himself(the Son) a life and thus could "die", that's what I mean by He entered into His creation. Surely you believe God could cause Himself to live in a body. I did mention that my comparison wasn't perfect, because there is nothing else like God, so I cannot produce a similar concept.

  • @ZagiEscobar 3. I just realized you may not know what Christians believe about Jesus. When I say Jesus died, I do not mean that God died. Christians believe that Jesus was fully human and fully God at the same time. He was not only God in a human body, nor was He just a man. He was fully human and fully God. So, while His human body/life died, His deity existence remained. Once Jesus' body/ human life ended, God (the Father) resurrected His human body/life (raised back to life from death).

  • @godswordsheal Christianity is following the teachings of christ, not following those that give opinions on christ.I'm assuming that people that believe in three gods, think that our Creator is humanlike, and that their sins will be forgiven altogether if they just claim to be close to christ (it doesn't matter if they keep sinning)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't know much about christianity beyond the scope of what I've learnt, and I love reading the bible, but I hate the explanations

  • @ZagiEscobar Christianity follows Jesus, who is God. So no we do not follow the teachings of Christ nor opinions on Christ. Christians believe in one God, but with three separate personalities(The trinity is complex to understand and I don't expect you to understand it). Christians believe that God put himself into his own creation as God could do.

  • @ZagiEscobar 2.Christians believe that sin is inevitable and that no amount of good deeds or prayer or following God's commands can save us from Gods righteous wrath, and that because of this God, became just like a human in Jesus Christ and died on a cross (its true!) so that if we believe in Him (Jesus) then we can now come to God free from sin.

  • @godswordsheal 'God, became just like a human' Where have you got this notion from, that's a powerful claim, claiming that God is divisible (and therefore not One).

Which god was it that with the righteous wrath, was it the same one that came down?

  • @ZagiEscobar Read the bible my friend. John 1, or Isaiah 7 where it says the child will be called "God with us", Micah 5 where it says out of Bethlehem will come one from eternity, Isaiah 9 where it says "and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God..., Hebrews 1where it talks about Jesus' deity and how HE created everything. I will explain the trinity better in another post.

  • @godswordsheal But what your saying is that, god came down and killed himself (our Creator controls life and death) so that you can be free from his wrath because you are going to keep sinning. So god has come alive and killed himself, so that you can be free to be sinners, as long as you believe. But why would god come donw and kill himself, for his love for his creations, but his wrath is so much that he has to kill 'himself'?

  • @ZagiEscobar We could not, cannot, and never will be able to offer a proper/perfect sacrifice to God that will atone for our sins. Because of this, God WAS BORN (not came alive) in a human body. To offer himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, not necessarily everyone's sins but the sins of those who believe in him. That means you too.

  • @godswordsheal Our Creator's mercy is greater than the wrath.

You don't need to give any sacrifice for atonement of sins, the main thing is to stop the sins, and ask for forgiveness and guidance.

You said that god is three persons, and then you said that the three persons make up god (sorry if I've got it wrong), but that's contradictory to indivisibility. The only way it would work is if your meaning of indivisible is different.

  • @ZagiEscobar Well, if you believe all that is required to be forgiven from God is stopping the sin and asking for forgiveness then why when the Israelites were in the desert, the high priest had to SACRIFICE an animal just to be able to enter into the Most Holy place that was located in the Tabernacle.

  • @ZagiEscobar 2. Lev. 16:2 "And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. 6And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house" You must have a sacrifice to be acceptable to God. Jesus is our perfect sacrifice because he is God.

  • @ZagiEscobar It's ok, I mentioned before that the trinity is complicated. God is one being, but three persons. In God there have ALWAYS been three persons, so there is no division.

  • @godswordsheal I personally don't think that someone else was made to take the brunt of my sins.

Does it make sense to you? Cause it seems like a very big stretch from what I've read in the gospels (or at least the version I've read).

  • @ZagiEscobar Jesus was not made He always existed. And He came down to give His life for us. Read Matt 26:17-30 where Jesus says in verse 28, "28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

    What version do you read?

  • @ZagiEscobar 2.Since we cannot be perfect and God knows this, when Jesus was here his message was repent and believe in him, as in turn from your sins and believe in him. Not ONLY believe in him. We are to believe in Jesus AND turn from our sins, in this way Jesus bridges the gap between us and God since we cannot reach him on our own. That doesn't mean we go on sinning. We try and not sin, even though we fail.

  • @ZagiEscobar 3.The only way a Christian shows true belief is by walking in Jesus' footsteps and dying to ourselves, allowing Jesus to live through our bodies when we are given the Holy Spirit.

I enjoy reading the bible too. The Qur'an is a challenging book, but I like to read it also. I hope and pray that you look at the bible without the lens of the Qur'an, the bible deserves to be read based on itself not on the Qur'an.

  • @godswordsheal I'm really sorry, but I'm just saying the same thing in different ways.

What is this 'Holy spirit', if it is given to you, are you able to communicate with it?

How exactly does god live through your bodies, is that some sort of ritual?

  • @godswordsheal I haven't read what you've told me anywhere, so I'd love it if you could reiterate on it.

  • Comment removed

  • @AstronomyGuru1 you will never understand the bible because you don't have the Spirit of truth breaking down the word for you. Stay with your astronomy and see wha tit gives you.

  • In other words he wants you to read the Bible like a sheep with no doubt that way you are sheepishly able to look past the verses that are Fucked up. Get real people, get intelligent, get knowledge, it's okay to not be sheep. Read the Bible it made me agnostic!

Read: Exodus 4:24-26, does this make any logical sense? Polygamy:Genesis 32:22, read these two verses and hundreds of others that condone slavery, polygamy, and even murder and much much more. Religion is a false salesmanship!

  • @TheMoTucker Thanks... but apparently you didn't watch the video (or perhaps you didn't follow). The entire point of my introduction is that we don't read the Bible like blind sheep, rather we must, as individuals, STUDY the Bible giving special regard to context. The verses and doctrines you cite are understood in context to covenants they are not condoning anything. And regardless, if God is God and he condones something, who are you to decide he's wrong?

  • @scottobiblestudy Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.

-Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782

  • @scottobiblestudy "context to covenants"???? So that means that they're NOT condoned??? And who are WE to decide anything?....Oh well, we're nobodies and even IF God condones slavery (as He clearly does) we oughta just worship Him anyways....cuz we're nobody. It's this type of thinking that caused so many to be murdered by Hitler....sheeps to the slaughter!

  • @julzabro Stop making things up please. Its pretty clear you haven't done any study of the bible at all. You have only sat staring at words on a page/screen and made conclusions from other peoples opinions that only reinforced your view of God and the bible and (I'm guessing) Christianity.

  • @godswordsheal I'm not making anything up! I have an interpretation JUST LIKE YOU DO! And I have done PLENTY of studying of the Bible! I used to be Xtian but am an atheist. What exactly do u I'm "making up"?

  • @julzabro Of course there is a context to a covenant. God has a covenant with David regarding his descendants and the throne, what does that have to do with anybody but David? It is limited to David's descendants and it is limited to a throne over Israel.

  • @scottobiblestudy Everything in the Bible is ALL of US. It's sposed 2 b divine and it's message timeless. Obviously, God's not going 2 ask someone nowadays 2 build an ark without any potential flood nor would He ask any1 anything cuz He doesn't do miracles anymore and, imho, doesn't exist! Most of what is in the Bible is metaphor even Noah building an ark. U claim that Paul is talking about u Xtians today so y aren't covenants pertinent 2 us 2day?

  • @julzabro Why aren't covenants pertinent to us today? Which covenants? Which covenant did God give through Paul to the church of this age? Did you read my last post? David had a specific covenant. Abraham had a specific covenant. Israel has a future specific covenant. If there is a covenant with the church of this age, I'd be happy to consider it.

  • @scottobiblestudy All of God's covenants either ARE, or are metaphor for, HIs prophecy or His Laws. Even the covenants made with David set up lineage of kings and who are David's descendants?

  • @scottobiblestudy The covenant w/ David as well as ALL made by God lead up to the "church of this age"

2 Sam 7:12 “... I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. ...16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”’”

  • @scottobiblestudy U're asking y covenants aren't pertinent 2 us today but that was MY question 2 U! I asked U that cuz u said in ur video that "God is not always talking to us when He gives commands or promises" I agree that, in the literal sense, if God makes a promise/with Noah that it's TO Noah...however, it's more about US seeing the righteousnous of Noah and how he did this thing 4 God and how God REALLY DID flood the world! Every1 in the world died but 8 people!

  • @scottobiblestudy Moreover, what does the flood represent? What does THE ARK represent? Don't we hear of another ark later? The ark of the covenant? And what covenant did God make with Noah after the flood and how can u not c the pertinence of that for today?

  • @scottobiblestudy And ur descendants AFTER YOU...that's us! Gen 9:9 “... I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. 11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

  • @scottobiblestudy ALL FLESH ON EARTH....THAT'S us! Gen 9:12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 1... 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

  • @scottobiblestudy David's descendants lead to Jesus. God's covenant with David establishes the throne and royal lineage of Jesus!!! How do u, as a Xtian, not c that as pertinent to YOU today? I c that u r speaking of conditions but I believe all those conditions are relevant to the main plot making them very pertinent to today. And I must tell u ur God DOES change!

  • Yea, right.

  • Rape is one of the most heinous crimes imaginable. Yet few people know that the Bible often condones and even approves of rape, Judges 21:10-24:

  • @AmenRaHeru First, you miss the context of the plan of God in the Covenant of Sinai (most likely because somebody ripped that passage from its context and gave to those more than willing to find any reason not to believe the scriptures). Secondly, not everything is scripture is exactly as God planned it, some things are simply a record of how man has handled the dictates of God. Lastly, how many rapists marry their "victims" and care for them in perpetuity? Don't just believe something blindly.

  • @scottobiblestudy "not everything is scripture is exactly as God planned it" ?!?!? WHAT? The Bible is SUPPOSED TO BE divinely inspired BY God and how can there be ANYTHING that God didn't plan???????? And do u REALLY think that if a rapist marries their victim that this somehow excuses the crime???? You're telling US not to believe something blindly when what YOU believe has WORSE MORALS than His own creation does and requires a great deal of denial!!!!

  • @julzabro It's called free will and there is no excuse for the crime. So many people who don't understand the bible read it and think that everything contained within it is "condoned" by God. There are a variety of literature forms that are in the bible one of them is historical writing; wherein the authors wrote neutrally about what happened at a certain time. A God of truth and justice would not leave out the sins of His people to save face, he allowed all this to be written for a purpose.

  • @godswordsheal Well, how ownderful for your god to allow us to see the sins of His creation....I never implied He would leave anything out but rather that if you believe in this God than you MUST believe that the Bible is divinely written. And, furthermore, you must believe that God is all knowing and all powerful and that He created everything and that there is nothing done outside of His intent....THAT is what makes a god a god...to say anything less renders ur god powerless.

  • @julzabro Make up your mind, do we believe the bible is "divinely inspired" or "divinely written"? They are not interchangeable. And you assertions don't represent the reality. God is a god because He is all knowing and all powerful and He created everything and that there is nothing done outside of His PLAN.

  • @godswordsheal You need to ask yourSELF that question!!! YOU SAID, "not everything in scripture is exactly as God planned it" So you tell ME is the Bible divine or not? And IF the Bible IS divine and God is all powerful then evil was created by Him and He allows it to do its damage, right?

  • @julzabro I never said that actually you quoted that from scottobiblestudy. Yet I agree. I believe that God divinely inspired(<---key) the bible to be written. What the bible talks about is direct from God, as in truth, and it basically covers a history of God and his people. Yes, God created evil AND good, because what is good without evil?

  • @godswordsheal Yes, sorry I miss quoted you. If good is not good enuff by itself then what is the point of heaven and how will ONLY good live there? Have you ever supposed that this pluralistic thinking is all part of the mind control within religion? And IF God created evil and allows it then He is a liar becuz He CLAIMS to be love/merciful. And He's a hypocrite cuz He punishes people for doing the same thing He does!

  • @julzabro There is heaven where good is, and hell where evil will be destroyed, thus only good will be in heaven. I agree that religion causes pain and problems, forces people into believing ridiculous things. But when I came to know the true Jesus Christ and was given the Holy Spirit that dwells within me I see things that are, and can distinguish them from what is not.

  • @godswordsheal Well, it's good to know u see the problems with religion but any faith in Jesus Christ...as God IS religious since any knowledge of Him comes FROM Christianity. If Heaven is all good and good can exist there withOUT evil....why not here? And why test us if such a place CAN exist?

  • @julzabro "God IS religious since any knowledge of Him comes FROM Christianity." Knowledge of God comes from Jesus (God Himself), not Christianity. Christians just believe that God is who He says He is. When God made good here we chose evil. He allows us to gain back the good we had before He destroys evil, which would be us at this point.

  • @godswordsheal So where does the knowledge of Jesus come from??? DIRECTLY from Christianity! So if we're evil as u say, then God's gonna eventually come and destroy us??? So I guess we're all screwed anyhow and may as well live it up while we have time!

  • @julzabro So have we finally reached the base of your objection to God yet? I'm certain I never said such a thing. He will come and destroy the world and those that love it more than Him. But that doesn't have to be me or you.

  • @julzabro 2.God then place man in a garden and allowed him to choose good or evil, God knew man would choose evil and allowed him to do so, because God knew that ultimately his plan of good for those who love him and want to live by his will would be fulfilled regardless of the evil of "today".

  • @godswordsheal If God placed us there and KNEW we would choose evil and, in fact, CREATED us in such a way that we WOULD choose evil then WHY r we getting punished and living in a fallen world for SUPPOSEDLY making a freewill choice to disobey God?!? That was NOT a choice we made freely with our own will considering how the cards were stacked against us. It was God's will!!! And why punish us for following HIS plan!?!?

  • @julzabro He did not create us so that we would choose evil He made us so we COULD choose evil, not that we had to. But He knew we would choose evil does not mean He made us to choose evil. We are not being punished we are being allowed, because of God's grace, to go to God without the burden of the sin that Adam/Eve implanted in us because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

  • @godswordsheal If He knew we WOULD choose evil then, out of mercy, why not let us skip to the heaven part? We ARE punished if we don't believe and many don't believe becuz they feel they are punished in THIS life wrongly. And even if not the individual themselves feeling that way...they see a world full of innocent people in pain. This is what I see. So u feel that all the suffering in the world is man's fault and we should be greatful that He ALLOWS us to come to Him sinless????
