It's weird that my high school (Northside) was gonna have their senior prom there, till it burned down....so instead we had it in the ballroom nearby.
This is a very sad loss in my heart. I had 6 family members work this mill from the 40's all the way to the mid 90's!! It has been a wonderful source of income to my family for the years. Even though some days it seemed more like a slave pit then a job.. Sad to see it go..
yea it was in columbus GA started around the back end of the building near the river at about 12:45 its a shame that building was 113 years old and still in use what a loss it was here a good long 113 years incredible but sad day went there as much as i could which was often but not anymore cant wait to find out what caused this horrible fire thanks for the vid looks like nothing changed much when i visited it on halloween made me sad
