We have calculated that over the past 3 years that GUMBO has served in the area of 40,000 meals to the homeless. So much for the "History of GUMBO". I just wanted to give you a little background on the group so you could see where our hearts were. We genuinely care about the people we serve and do whatever we can to provide for their needs.

The 4 people that we have helped get off of the street have now joined GUMBO and are cooking and serving the very same people that they lived on the streets with only months ago. We currently provide between 60 to 100 (depending on the time of the month) meals a week to the homeless living on the streets of Riverside. So on a busy Tuesday GUMBO provides about 400 meals for the homeless.
