I'm choking back a lump. This dance was a great, accurate interpretation of this song, a powerful song I've seen so often wasted, and this choreography and these girls did both justice. What a talented group. This song means a lot to me, and I'm more reflective now than usual, it's EDAW 2011 (US); I'm recovered anorexic. Thank you.
I laughed a little everytime your shoes made noise but I was also crying at the same time because this is such a powerful dance and you girls managed to tell the story of the song perfectly.
the girl w/ the long hair "sophie"? is the best dancer. the others are really good too though. great job! i also choreographed a dance on eating disorders. look up "a dance on eating disorders: Eyes That Know Me"

this is serriously amazing. I'm doing a dance in my modern class like it and I have a part where i'm like a beat behind everybody. it's to the song Streets of Phildelphia.

my director just made me delete all of our rehearsal videos. or i would tell you to watch a really neat tap dance that is lyrical music and has a lyrical style to it.
"to be like all the other girls," "ordinary world, just to fit in,"
most girls are not as skinny as anorexic girls are, thats a fact. so trying to fit in an "ordinary world" is a healthy weight like most girls. This was my interpretation of the song and luckily that is the beauty of songs. It can be interpreted in various ways. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for all the comments, this was my first dance to choreograph in college. I graduate in December so it is very sentimental to me still! =)
