  • I can't believe they don't have dri-erase marker boards at MIT! Colored markers makes things so much eaiser to understand.

  • lol ich hab was unanständiges entdeckt

  • I wish I could go to MIT someday.

  • @agapitoflores001

That would be cool to go to MIT.

  • Hi! Where is the transcript? I select CC but dont show anything. I'm brasilian and I can read in english

  • BETTER QUALITY VIDEO PLS!!

  • Overall I need to emphasize that MIT is having an excellent initiative through MIT OCW programm and is a great opportunity for all of us.

Now things would be really better if:

    - The quality of the videos was improved. See for ex. the Linear Algebra class by Gilbert Strang and the Digital comm class by Bob Gallager. Quality is great there. Not the case with Forney's class which is very interesting though.

    - Allow playback in I-Pad! Why would the "author" prevent the video from playing in Ipad?

  • what was the point of this? i can't read the board at all

  • It is sad to see how bad this been recorded. Prof Forney is of course master of the subject. Only the video quality is so low that makes it practically useless. can't read anything!

  • Where is the video for 6.450? I don't want to get in trouble for watching this before watching 6.450...

  • i'm at melbourne. Is this real in classroom lecturing in MIT?

  • uhh yes?

  • @LaksoPenang yeah mit offers some of its course lecture videos for public use(free :) ) through opencourseware

i love there videos, unfortunately the video quality of this lecture is very low :/

  • He seems to know his subject. One thing I like about this instructor is his own statement: "I very much encourage questions and feedback and I'm always willing to be distracted, tell stories, respond to just what's on your mind. It's much more fun for me and probably helps you too." What the heck is a Gaussian channel anyway?

  • The quality of the Camera means the text he writes is unclear. I know he is talking about Guasian & pdfs (powerspectral density functions)

I just want to see his shorthand for certain words

  • Can someone teach this professor how to keep the students attention using more intonation he could learn a thing or two from Walter Lewin.

  • Yeah, inflection goes a long way, I know what you mean. regardless of that, he is the adaptor in the world that is channeling the knowledge he contains.

  • I'm starting to watch this , and i think the teacher should write bigger. Or any one knows where i can download this videos in a better quality ?

Apologize me for the english it's not my language.

  • The lecture starts at 18:00. The rest is introduction.

  • Thanks.
