Not a show for young girls or teens so I wouldn't recommend watching if you are under 18 but it is a great show. I would recommend buying the book series by Charlaine Harris and reading them first though if you decide to watch the show. Really great storylines in both the show and books even though they vary to a degree. But yes, Eric is from True Blood--I highly recommend the show

Angel has a reason for being the way he is, there's actually plot there. He was cursed with a soul, to suffer for killing so many people(he killed, like real vampies do xD).Before that he was the strongest, meanest and cruelest vampire ever know. You know, when we die, we lose our souls, if we could be brought back to life and become, say, vampires, we won't be the same as we were in our lives. Without a soul there's no regret, we'd kill without a second thought. Nice, eh.xD
