  • I`v seen a lot of engine designs and this has to be one of the most complicated in design , compaired to the general engine design used by many auto manufactures.

The GM 2,5 is a greatest engine for simplicity and LONG life .it was me I`d put one in that porsche for standard drivability

  • it looks like a fucking plane engine! really nice done

  • Man that starter is buried in there

  • @g60scuzz indeed! :)

  • Excellent !!!!! Thanks for taking the time

  • Was wondering why you didn't clean up that flywheel as long you had it off. How was the clutch. I would have considered putting a new clutch in as long as it was apart.

  • What was that you used to press in the RMS? A special tool or something store bought? Thanks again for the videos....Great Stuff.

  • that was a section of ABS (plastic) drain coupling from Home Depot. I believe it was for 3.5" diameter pipe.

The key however, is to properly drive the seal in uniformly to it's proper depth. This takes a bit of skill with just a hammer, but anyone can do it if they're careful.

  • Thanks for the reply and info Glenn. I'm getting ready to do Clutch, IMS retrofit and RMS, that bit of info helps.....Mark.

  • SURE AS HELL THIS ENGINE MAKES AUTO BOT,TRANSFORMERS LOOK LIKE A SAIL BOAT MADE OUT OF PAPER....HAHAHA,GREAT PROJECT. THNKX GLENN986S.i TAKE IT YOUR A MECHANIC ENGINEERED?

  • @LittleModig Cheers! I'm just a guy like you who loves sports cars.

  • Hey thanks for doing this. I am a Porsche fan and I always wanted to know how the engine was put together.

  • Thanks!!!
