  • thats's some headneck stuff there......I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have a question do they come in all parts of U.S and can i hang it out my window?

  • @spacehog3000 I believe they do inhabit all parts of the US, but only the ruby-throat variety lives east of the Mississippi. They stay for a longer time in warmer climates.

I'm sure you could hang a feeder outside of your window. Be sure to use 1 part sugar to 4 parts boiling water. Do not add red coloring to the nectar. Allow to cool before giving to the birds.

  • @stepfordwoman thnx 4 the reply i trie but havent seen one yet But thank though :)

  • looks good but seems like you need to refill it very often. Once a day?

  • I think I had to refill it every other day, but I always made extra and kept it in the fridge for quick refills. The hummies are only around for 3 months, so it's not a big deal.

  • @stepfordwoman Target pill bottle does work. It took couple days for the birds to find it but they do come. Thanks.

  • Fantastic!! Simple and completely affordable ... that if I get that particular prescription XD! Anyhow, I've noticed that I don't get yet that many hummingbirds visiting my garden,so I should certainly try something like this, with a much smaller plastic or glass container. Thanks for the idea!!!

  • Ha I hear an African Grey in the back ground, love those birds! =)

Great idea for a hummingbird feeder-simple yet functional.
