Nice vid. However, instead of ending up with your paddle end up in your face...I find it much easier to simply think "armpit to armpit". That way, once you come up you're ready to start paddling again, no matter what.

hi i have just learnt to do a half sweep roll. Coming up the same way you whent down. Is the full roll much harder?

Not at all, in fact it is sometimes easier as you can use the momentum of flipping over to help you come up on the other side. Just make sure to take a short moment to ensure your paddle is in the correct setup position before initiating the roll. Good Luck
