I love Ron Paul, but so many people are debating the gold standard vs. fiat currency and I can't find anywhere where Ron Paul is specific on his plan for a new currency.
He doesn't want the gold standard of yesterday, he doesn't want a fiat currency, he doesn't want ONLY gold coinage to be currency, what exactly does he want....
WE NEED DETAILS!

What you do is write a check to the Federal Reserve for however many dollars are in play. Then you tell them to leave and never come back.
Start printing US Treasury notes to replace Federal Reserve notes. As you pull out the Fed notes and replace with US notes, the inflation will stay at ZERO.
Then, once all the Federal Reserve notes are replaced, you can begin to contract the money supply until corrected.
